WEEK 13 Both plants have now entered the flowering phase. A large number of pistils have already developed. So far, I’ve managed to maintain an even height, but the plants are currently in the stretch phase and could still shoot up significantly. I’m hoping for compact and balanced growth, as the vertical space in my setup is limited. I’ve increased my light intensity to around 700 PPFD. As a result—and due to the dehumidifier—the temperature in the grow room has risen slightly, but it remains within an acceptable range. The plants are currently watered every two days, with fertilizer added once a week. To improve air exchange, I pump fresh intake air into the tent every 30 minutes for 30 minutes. The coming weeks are bound to be exciting—I’m really looking forward to seeing how things turn out

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. well we are approaching the finish line :) the flowers look full and sticky, full of lots of trichomes,;) if the girl holds out I will let her grow for another 2 weeks.;) the girl drinks 3 liters every 2-3 days :) from today she will only get pure 6.3 ph water :) good luck to everyone.:)

My first grow....

Last week in the vegetation season From the photos can anyone tell me which sex of the plants? I'm not sure if they're male or female. I believe that next week I will know for sure As I will change to the flowering period, I applied the LOLLIPOPPING technique, to try to have bigger top buddies.

The buds shine like a shooting star mad sticky too⭐️ First thing that hits me with the smell straight up like canned pineapples in syrup🤤🍍

Decent smoke, one of the plants tasted and smoked better than the other.

Plant grew a lil to close to the light. Caused a lil purpleing and burning. Plant also ran almost ran out of water so plant got hungry started getting yellow spots. Moved light to the top of the tent hopefully the stretch is done. Plant is still trying to bud so im hoping everything is still fine.

Week 2 is in the books for the Blueberry Pie! She's done stretching it seems and is now gonna start to pack on the weight. I'm really excited to see how this strain flowers. I defoliated a ton so theres plenty of light penetration throughout the canopy. Tons of buds sights even through I wasn't able to trellis this grow. Going for quality not quantity this time. Staying on the light side with the nutrients. These next few weeks will be fun to watch and see the progress.

Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.
