🌿 Grow Diary Update: Week 5 Check-In 🌿 Hey growers, Can you believe it's Week 5 already? Time's flying, and so is our girl – she's a beast now! I've been itching to defoliate more, but I've maxed out the amount of defol i can do and i have now stopped completely to avoid stressing her out too much :/ Overall, she's looking happy, but I noticed some leaves getting darker than I'd like, so I dialed down the nitrogen a bit... Remember my PPMS struggle? Well, good news – got them down to 1200ppm but could not get it any lower.. i could lower the ppm/ec of intake even more to hopefully drop it but in this stage of flower feeding lower than 800ppms is too low unless you need to flush to reset the medium so i am just gonna keep sticking to the 800ppm feed for now and measure run off each time hopefully i can get it around 900-1000, yes these high ppm/ec levels are fine for cannabis but mostly when your using co2 thats like 700ppm+ but at the end of the day SHE LOOKS GREAT! Dia 76 desde la germinación y 48 dias después del trasplante se empieza a notar la robustez de las plantas ya miden bastante alto casi 2 M , y estan bastante ensanchadas, lo único que se puede notar la 1051 , sus ramas crecen muy rectas hacia arriba ,la white noise crece con las hojas un poco onduladas aunque no afecta a la planta. Pronto las amarraremos y ataremos con una estructura para que esten más cogidas y distribuidas las ramas y mas seguras contra viento y lluvias que empiezarán en septiembre

I started germination of this Gold Bar Kush bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cube with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into a 1 gallon pot. Plus get this lady situated into her new home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with GBK. It's a VERY robust variety packing hella branches, hella quick. Prime candidate for continues ongoing lst work. To maintain a clean,uncongested even canopy. She can become a jungle quick if left untamed. Shes very easy going in the nutrient department. Not hard to keep this one happy. Packs on lots of weight everywhere towards end of flower. Branches most definitely need some support or they will come crashing down. The flavor and aroma from this variety sre majestic. The intense indica effects are heavenly. Not hard to guess why it's back in the grow room for round 2.

I finally feel like we are getting some good vertical growth! And all cut spots have put on at least 2inches. So i flipped into flower this is day 1-0

Entering final week of major stretch, these plants have been a pleasure to grow so far, and my overall setup has been performing pretty flawlessly. Excited for the weeks to come, tho another longer trip away from the plants looms in the future (🎅🏻). Hopefully i can dial in a temporary auto watering system for then. Just did a light defoliation so i can leave them unmolested for the week - mainly took off leaves brushing against the forming pistils. These plants grow like weeds no doubt, branches out of branches out of branches. Temps and runoff a little high but overall a smooth start to the flowering stage i would say.

Very good week for the Jelly Rancher plant. The JR plant went from 3 inches to 6-1/2 inches. So 3.5 inches of growth this week...not too bad. No issues so far 😬. I pruned the plant just a little this week, took of the first, second and third set of leaves off. Not any branches just the leaves. The second and third set of leaves just get in the way...get covered in soil as they grow and not really all that useful so I just get them out of the way. Onto week 4 😁.
