Welcome to week 23 of my grow diary. Unfortunately, this is also the last week. During my daily check for mould, I noticed that one of the headbuds looked suspicious. The spot was right in the tip of one of the headbuds. In the video you can see that I have generously removed the tip. This was also the reason for the harvest. I actually wanted to leave the plant for a few more days but the mould made me decide to harvest it earlier. During the harvest, I discovered mould in the early stages in 2 other places. The flowers were trimmed wet and checked thoroughly. I hope you enjoyed my grow diary. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. All in all, I really liked this strain. Apart from the last case of mould, I had no problems with the plant. It survived the mainlining well. During this experiment I was able to gain a lot of experience for future grows. If I could travel back in time again, I would decide to leave fewer side shoots in the vegetative phase as it is already quite overgrown. Thank you for following me so far. I will give you an update after it has dried. See you next week ✌️

Purple Ryder is doing great. She is bulking and has a nice smell and frosty resin layer going. She is growing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2, in Agrogardens nutrition. I did a solution change on her 4 days ago. Minor ph fluctuations, but it is mostly stable at the moment. Thank you Agrogardens, Medic Grow, and Doctor's Choice 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

Grape Octane Auto has grown okay. I have not spent a lot of time with her. She looks to be done in about 2 to 3 weeks. Everything is going okay for the effort I put in. This was a brilliant week for plant growth, with some side branches over doubling their height. I added the ScrOG net at the beginning of the week and began some more intensive training. The broken mainled blue has fully recovered from last week's damage, and is quickly catching up the my other mainled experiment. The LST only plants I pretty much just continued to bend. The topped & LST'd plants I removed some of the lower bud sites that were not getting any light. I also removed a few awkward fan leaves that could not be tucked away. The addition of the net has helped with this though, as keeping the canopy even is much easier with the support it gives. I also decided not to try any further cuts on the (half) mainlined auto's. My reasoning is that they have developed strong, independent colas already, so cutting for more would not see much gain. The plants had also begun to flower on the night I went to perform the second cut, and my growing experience tells me not to mess with flowering plants too much so here we are. I gave the plants one regular watering of 10L pH'd water, and a 20L nutrient mix using the ratios stated above. All volumes were split equally between the plants. The scrawny looking blue critical has perked up a heck of a lot, but is still the weakest of the 3. The strongest plants by far are the ones that have been topped and LST'd, closely followed by the mainlined ones. LST only is definitely great, but it is clearly lagging behind the other two techniques.

7th week, the girls are doing well, nothing special to report. Patience and vigilance are key going forward. They're not smelling too much at the moment. My Instagram is simple; I try my best to respect the guidelines to share my results with you. I'm thinking of doing a 12/12 light cycle for feminized plants.

Felt like growing was slow going this week. I know they’re only 7 days from breaking ground so they’re establishing their roots but there was two days I felt like they didn’t grow at all. I germinated two more seeds, was going to have a total of 5 in my 4x4 but I somehow managed to kill both my master kush seeds despite having a beautiful tap root when I planted them into the soil. (Any advice/methods for getting seedlings going from germination to 🌱 is welcome and appreciated) My two Gorilla Breath plants struggled for the last 3 days of this week and went pretty yellow, which I presumed was a lack of nutrients since they’re only in solo cups right now with Fox Farm soil. They most likely used up all those nutrients and thus began showing signs of nutrient deficiency. I plan to make the next transplant into pro mix with added perlite so I have Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, Bloom on standby with RO water for that process. I ended up giving the two gorilla breath a 1/3 dose of micro, grow, bloom in 1L of water for one of their feedings to attempt to get some color back. It seemed to start working as you can see on the pictures. I was into my local hydro store today to buy some perlite to add to my pro mix next week and the guy talked me into some foliar spray (see attached image) to address the nutrient deficiency. I sprayed it on the leaves right before lights out on day 7 (February 6th) Hopefully that helps them out. Time will tell. I also struggled with humidity this week, ended up using a wet towel temporarily to keep humidity levels around 50% but I ended up ordering a humidifier on amazon and got that set up today. Super happy with the results from that 😁 Stay blessed and happy growing!
