This week has been all about environmental management and keeping the plant’s metabolism at its peak despite the winter chill. 📏 Precision Measurements & Training -Height: Steady at 37 cm. Vertical growth has stopped as she focuses all her energy on flower production. -Canopy Management: The LST has done a great job. The canopy is perfectly flat, ensuring that every "pompom" gets the same light intensity. -Visual Check: I’ve taken the plant out of the tent for some photos under white light to show the real progress of the trichomes without the LED distortion. 🌡️ Environment & Climate Challenges -Temperature: We’ve faced some tricky nights at 12°C, reaching 27°C during the day. -The Strategy: To prevent the plant from stalling due to the cold nights, I’ve started watering with lukewarm water. This keeps the root zone active and ensures nutrients are still being absorbed effectively. -Humidity (RH): Stable at 40-45%, ideal for keeping the developing buds safe and dry. 💧 Watering & Organic Pest Control -Nutrient Strategy: Still going strong with the full Biobizz schedule (Bio-Grow 1ml, Bio-Bloom 2ml, and Top-Max 1ml) in 1L of water. She is responding beautifully with no signs of overfeeding. -The Cinnamon Trick: 🛡️ I noticed some fungus gnats last week, so I applied a generous layer of ground cinnamon on the soil surface. It’s an old-school, 100% organic remedy that acts as a natural fungicide. Result: The gnats are completely gone! 🌿 Flower & Resin Evolution -The sugar has arrived! ❄️ Resin is now heavily coating the sugar leaves and the buds are thickening up fast. Day 54 from seed and the canopy games began, i gave them all some defoliation and instal first net, also started to do some low stress training to guide them out. Day 54 and i had to bring to this side of the tent my little Kushi with is from my other diares but she had no space there, so i moved her next to the competition side 😁😝 I’m also making a water system, i will keep doing the watering manually, but with the help from a “auto/manual” system. Day 54 CS have 2 very distinct phenotipes, a normal one with an amazing black pepper smell with a garlic touch and an old school candy smell mixed within, the other one, with i think is a rare one for the chocolate skunk, is smeling amazingly amazing 😅 she as fruit in it like tangerine and orange, and shes sweet and so but so strong smells, im in love with her, and she stretches more them the other 2 also, she provably will b the keeper from the CS department. Day 54 and I topped CS1 lets see how she reacts 😆🤞💚 Day 54 and TP1 and TP2 are amazing, this girls are so strong and resistant, they are fast growers and they look like winners to me, both of them , caps off to @sweetseeds for such a good job on the genetics department, keep it up guys 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Day 55 and my water system is ready for testing 😅 i know i should test before its all in, but its a non stop live i have so no time , always beliving 😅🤞💚 tomorrow we will know if it works or not 😆😁 Week 8 day 3 and I finally got the water system working and running properly, I’m still plugging in snd out , but this will make my life so much easier, withs results in more free time to dedicate my girls. Week 2 and three i was really busy and didn't get good picks.. But I have 3 thorsberry regs.. I can't wait til I can see if they are male or female lol. Im slowly working toward getting my grow all set up.. Thx for any advice$!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 🌿 Week 11: Frosty Heights & Real Talk (Flower Week 6) First off, apologies for the slight delay! Usually, I drop these updates on Monday, but I was out celebrating my 25th birthday yesterday and, well... let’s just say things got a little out of control, haha! But I'm back in the tent now, and the girls didn't seem to mind the extra day of peace. Welcome to Week 11. We are deep in the flowering phase (Week 6), and the tent is looking like a winter wonderland. But let’s keep it real – while the frost is insane, it hasn't been a "perfect" run since it’s my first experience with living soil. Here’s the honest breakdown. 🛠️ The Big Defoliation & Adjustments The canopy got so thick that I had to perform one last major defoliation. I removed a significant amount of the large fan leaves that were shading the lower bud sites. It’s always a tough call this late in the game, but it was absolutely necessary to get that light penetration down to the secondary colas and improve RH. Combined with raising the entire tent to save the tops from light stress, the environment is now much more balanced. If you look closely at some of the upper leaves, you can still see a bit of "tacoing" (curling edges) from the previous light intensity and buds on the top of the sweet spot are not very well bulked because of heat stress by light. I caught it likely and the "scars" remained. 🌱 Organic Struggles & Success The "Autumn Fade" is hitting harder than I expected. The remaining fan leaves are yellowing quite aggressively. In living soil, this usually means the nitrogen is running low what I read as the plant focuses everything on the buds. I’m letting nature take its course, but I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure they have enough gas to reach the finish line. • The Scrog Management: My canopy isn't perfectly level. I have a few "underdogs" getting shadowed by the main colas even after the defoliation. It’s a lesson for next time – I need to be even more aggressive with LST early on to keep everything in one uniform plane. 📊 Stats & Environment: • Genetics: Banana Purple Punch Auto (FastBuds) • Status: Bulking phase. • RH: Dropped to 45%-40% – absolutely critical now to prevent any bud rot in these dense clusters. • Temp: 22-26°C. • Aroma: A heavy mix of tropical fruit sweets and gassy undertones. The gorilla glue auto is flowering great and if my maths is correct its in week 8 of flower or week 7 the buds still have bulk up still alot of white pistols the buds are super frosty

We are nearing the end of this journey with the 5 White Widow Autoflowers from ILGM genetics During week 12 Continued watering with regular PH'd water every 2 to 3 days. Checking tricomes with a jewelers loop every few days. The plants are smelling super potent now coming into week 8 of flower! Buds are super resinous and extremely sticky. Week 13 Last week before chop! The plan is to see how the plants look nearing the end of week 13. My current grow tent is the same tent I use to dry so this may get tricky! ILGM has grow time listed as between 10-14 weeks so Im right in that final phase. Stay tuned for up close shots of the final stage of these plants. I will include final photos, wet weight, and final dry yield in upcoming posts. 👽

Some of the leaves are still showing problems but I'm confident that the plants will do just fine as they haven't stopped growing new growth. I'm working on setting up another tent so I can give the girls some more room to gro properly as I'm seeing a lot of crouding in their current home.

Day 21 for the orange sherbet. She hasn't been getting the light she needs since she was so close to the bigger plants. Fixed that today though. Extended the boards that hold the plants so they can spread out more. I got them in the big room under some quantum boards so hopefully they will stay happy and start popping some pistils soon. Haven't changed the feed or water yet. They are starting to drink more so I will give them a few gallons soon

Last week I neglected the fertigation beyond the low humidity all that delayed the first topping and leaf burned the most thirsty girls, by the end of the week I had already recovered them and succed topping, they are looking very healthy.

These lady's have been weird but have been growing great I got two them with Topps showing orange furs and are frosty as hell and smelling lovely this thebstart of the 5th week of flower

This week is another step towards the end goal of getting to see these beautifull buds. Gave them a dose of build a flower on day 17. Gave them a heavy dose of molasses on day 21 mild on 17 with flower. 1 pheno is getting covered in resin early. All have a musky gas smell as of now. Something sweet them fist open the tent.
