Pretty happy with the final results from this grow, both times I have done this strain though I have had different results, the plant structure is great to be fair so I don't actually think a lot of training is required with this one but its exciting to see how big they can go! I will defo go for a 3rd time on this strain in the future so will look forward to that but in the mean time I shall have some of fastbuds gelato potted up in the next week or 2 to start a new diary :)

Day 45 power is restored and we are back at it! I moved #2 under the viparspectra lights and lowered her down a bit from it.(she was either too hot or over watered. Either way this should help by dimming the light and encouraging roots to do there thang) I'm kinda embarrassed but I stunted #2 during transplant last week. She is finally starting to grow. I just over watered everybody during transplant. Day 46 nothing new to report. Theh are acclimated to the new pots, finally and are in cruise control. A personal observation, when I grow the rest of these seeds I'm not stopping or training. They're just too beautiful on their own! Day 48: Straight cruise control. I wanted to take so pics to show the pre sleep drop. They're above.😊 #1 is really growing. I expect they will be in flower shoes by week 9 and hope to flip on week 10 Day 49: tried to upload some pictures and videos today but the app wouldn't operate my camera 🤷‍♂️ oh well... I watered #1 today. She is officially in overdrive just growing fast!! (You get measurements tomorrow at the new week!) The good and bad of this week is #2. She definitely stunted during transplant. Probably from over watering during it. So to help promote root growth I topped her 4 main tops. And lowered her 3' from the Optic8+ It worked like a charm too!! All her leave are turning up praying again rather than being water logged and her new tops are bright green and growing! Bingo bango! Northern Lights is very close to being finished. I had phosphorus excess in this grow before, and I think that's what's happened again. I think the excess of phosphorus has prevented the plant from being able to uptake Calcium, Magnesium and others. 8.5.25: The plant was watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2. I added per litre; ♡ 1/2 TSP Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1/4 TSP Sea K(elp) PPM: 890 PH: 6.2 I decided to feed each plant separately and mix it up in the 2l jug. I gave an additional 2l of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients; ♡ 4ml Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PPM: 636 PH: 6.4. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. She will be taken down once I'm satisfied with the ratio of trichomes. I'm leaving this one a bit longer than I usually would, just to see the difference in effects of a later harvest. I do need the space in the tent, so I'm hoping it won't take too much longer. She has grown quite a bit over this past week. I'm excited to clone her and continue another cycle with good genetics. The watering routine remains the same, with alternating days of fertilizer and aerated tea. I also let it dry back for about 2 days. It's very healthy, with very green leaves and they're getting wider every day. I'll soon do a toppinp. See tou.

The plants are doing amazing! Both are producing more and more trichomes, and the buds are noticeably thickening up.🌱 #1 (the tall one) continues to impress—it’s now giving off a strong tropical mango scent! The aroma is so sweet and fruity, it’s crazy. Meanwhile, #2, despite being so small, has developed a surprisingly large main bud! The smell is completely different, though—leaning more towards a hazy, complex scent that’s hard to describe.🤔 Super happy with the progress so far—let’s see what the next weeks bring!😊

Filling out need a second screen. Dont think will have too much more stretch. The white choco haze is still behind no way mear as much foliage, however considering her start to life she is doing much better. Gorilla looking nice and the 2 choc mints of the left of the photos are looking terrific.

Great climate, ideal. No problems to report, for the moment the critters are focused on something else. If it doesn't get too hot, I'll start reducing irrigation and defoliate more. Today 13.27 hours of light. My Gorilla is doing well, lots of flowers are forming although they are smaller than those in Special Kush # 1. Strong cheese smell. The supercropped twin branches will become one giant bud. August 19 update - Very initial mites infestation promptly treated with nettle macerate spray. August 21 update - first day of new heat wave

Defoliated them a little. Nothing special. I try to keep at least 3 or so big leaves below the net jfust in case there is an issue with the plant where it shows the symptoms at the lower branches first. I believe this way I'm faster to diagnose in case something does go wrong with feeding. Oh yeah, trellis is about 30cm (give and take) above the pots

WEEK 9 Everything is going well so far, apart from the lack of space due to its size. Other than that, it really seems to show strong Sativa genetics. Unfortunately, I can’t fully cover it with light, but I’m trying to make the best out of the situation. PPFD: 750µmol/m²/s Water: 3x water 2x nutrient solution Vpd: 1,6Kpa

D67 removed ScrOG and repeated LST on left plant so lower buds will get more light. There is not enough space in tent to do the same with the right plant.

Harvest on day 72 for this Northern Lights auto by Seedsman. Yield was not a priority as I messed up my watering schedule. Overall pretty happy with this plant, buds are super dense and sticky, great citrus smell when you break up the buds, tastes really smooth and also sweet. Lovely night time smoke. Great strain by Seedsman!

Good week of growth. Fed twice throughout the week. Couple signs of insects but hoping it's just the few fruit flies I have in the vicinity. Also continued with LST, both plants seem to like it. Growth on Alaskan purple is slow due to the shitty Amazon light overjead I believe. Seemango has a mars hydro ts1000 overtop.

This week was when I first recognized that there was something wrong.... Initially I only realized that the stems of my little girl were slightly bent downward. In some cases I have experienced this orientation when a plant is exhausted and about to got through its sleeping period but, this seemed different. In the following days I began to notice that the lower leaves were beginning to fade, the stems began to turn red, and still the leaves were bending downward and not praying to the light! At first I just figured that my plant was in need of a feeding and transplanting to a larger container but, after doing a bit of research I realized that the I may have been experiencing a phosphorus deficiency. From my understanding I knew that these plants require nutrients that is high in nitrogen during the vegetative part of its life however, I did not realize that it's still needed an adequate amount of phosphorus in this stage too. As I mentioned perviously, I decided to reuse my soil for this grow and as a result of sterlization my growing medium no longer had any nutrients to offer my plant at the time. I believe this is the reason I began to see signs of deficiencies and going forward if I ever reuse my medium again I will make sure to re-amend it before using it. *I also topped the plant at the 5th node this week as well*
