I harvested the 2 plants and I’ve got them drying in my 4x8 tent. The temp in my tent is staying between 60F and 64F and humidity is 58%-60% they’ve been drying for 10 days so I’m hoping to get another day or 2 before I start trimming. I’ll post an update once it’s all trimmed and weighed up

Ok start of week 5, as stated in the video I finally got on top of the ph drop. After some research I found that dwc systems can have 2 problems that can create this problem. One is the air it pulls in is to rich in co2 and basically creates acidic resovour but since I have been changing the system weekly I didn’t feel this was my problem. The other reason could be too low ec for the plants. Basically every plant has a natural ec lvl and if the nutrients are below that of the plant it can create an inbalance that leads to ph drop. I upped my nutrients from 1200 to 1400 and since I done that my ph has stayed stable at 5.8. Also had signs of slight light burn so lifted the light. So on we go learning this system day by day. Will say I have seen some great explosive growth since it’s all been stabilised.

After a while, felt like I had to cut her. From 20/01/26 to 24/04/26 She had been only working with water for the past week, and yet refused to even show a slight green (I mean, a little bit on the bottom) She got fried with some UVA (Spiderfarmer UV30) which gave her a more dark look on the top part. Meanwhile the center, without light and UV has some purple, pink shade that looks incredible. I didn't properly weigh her : But my hand hurt after holding her a while, I was fkn high just from her smell. edited this for the roots, they look absolutely INSANE.

🌿 Week 11: Frosty Heights & Real Talk (Flower Week 6) First off, apologies for the slight delay! Usually, I drop these updates on Monday, but I was out celebrating my 25th birthday yesterday and, well... let’s just say things got a little out of control, haha! But I'm back in the tent now, and the girls didn't seem to mind the extra day of peace. Welcome to Week 11. We are deep in the flowering phase (Week 6), and the tent is looking like a winter wonderland. But let’s keep it real – while the frost is insane, it hasn't been a "perfect" run since it’s my first experience with living soil. Here’s the honest breakdown. 🛠️ The Big Defoliation & Adjustments The canopy got so thick that I had to perform one last major defoliation. I removed a significant amount of the large fan leaves that were shading the lower bud sites. It’s always a tough call this late in the game, but it was absolutely necessary to get that light penetration down to the secondary colas and improve RH. Combined with raising the entire tent to save the tops from light stress, the environment is now much more balanced. If you look closely at some of the upper leaves, you can still see a bit of "tacoing" (curling edges) from the previous light intensity and buds on the top of the sweet spot are not very well bulked because of heat stress by light. I caught it likely and the "scars" remained. 🌱 Organic Struggles & Success The "Autumn Fade" is hitting harder than I expected. The remaining fan leaves are yellowing quite aggressively. In living soil, this usually means the nitrogen is running low what I read as the plant focuses everything on the buds. I’m letting nature take its course, but I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure they have enough gas to reach the finish line. • The Scrog Management: My canopy isn't perfectly level. I have a few "underdogs" getting shadowed by the main colas even after the defoliation. It’s a lesson for next time – I need to be even more aggressive with LST early on to keep everything in one uniform plane. 📊 Stats & Environment: • Genetics: Banana Purple Punch Auto (FastBuds) • Status: Bulking phase. • RH: Dropped to 45%-40% – absolutely critical now to prevent any bud rot in these dense clusters. • Temp: 22-26°C. • Aroma: A heavy mix of tropical fruit sweets and gassy undertones. Pretty quiet week. Seeing some yellowing leaves which is a big indicator of a nitrogen issue but I’m hoping that it’s just because I’m in mid flower and not a bigger problem. Mantis Nutrients walked me through my issues and I have flushed the plant. Will now start giving lower doses of nutrients and will slowly increase the amount. The buds themselves are getting really sticky and stinky. Love watching them grow!

This was a wild ride. Gave way to many nutrients and I realised this way too late, when lock-ups already started to happen. The buds still look very potent, I just think they had way more in em size/potency wise if the nutrients would've been on point. Not growing auto flowers indoor anymore, but I'll deffo be growing this one outdoors this year! The smell is out of this world, #1 smells like tropical fruit juice, #2 more of a candy-sweetness but definitely tropical. Can't wait for ya'll to grow this one!

Our journey is slowly coming to an end. Both Gelatos have developed well, and I'm looking forward to testing them soon. The smell in the box is mind blowing 💚💚💚.

Well I had significant growing issues during this grow. I feel I could of done a lot better. What I do have smells good. Plus Is frosty. I am just not a big Amnesia Haze fan. Personal preference though. The Viparspectra P4000 light worked great as has prior. 12/16/2021 Recovery is a success! A little raggedy but putting on decent growth in last couple day's. Also need to decide if I top or mainline the two tops? Going to feed her today and see how she grows this week then decide what action is appropriate. She actually has 4 tops! Three are more developed but if you look closely there is 4. I kind of want to let it grow, although it may cause a split later on😕 . So still thinking on it.

This plant has a solid stench of pure ripe lemons. So much aroma and color in every bud, purples, to dark green, to lime green, to solid frost. This one definitely a fun strain to watch grow and tend too for the last few months. She’s definitely a hungry girl, seemed to be the only strain out of the three that accepted and thrived with full feed nutrients. Would definitely recommend this Strain to someone For a nice uplifting day smoke, also seems to do me good for some pain and stress relief.

Another good week. Knock on wood. The plants responded very well to drop in the nutrient level. This is the first and second week of the flower cycle. And starting to get some white hairs. They are girls! I decided they needed a haircut and did some major defoliation today. There’s some pictures before and after.

Montebello Mind Bombx2 (MMB): by Doc Wylder Genetics. 3rd week from seed and MMB #1 is taking off. Very good growth this week. Transplanted to 1 Gal pot for additional nutrients in soil. Also, a stronger soil Sohum Living soil with Wollastonite & Mycorrhizae additive. MMB#2 however is still struggling to grow. Not sure what's going on with it. Gave it a bit of TEA Compost for a kick of nutrients yesterday and Bumped Lighting to 750ppfd, to spur some growth. Could be shocked still from 12/12 lighting a week ago. Roots have yet to make it to bottom of the Cup. Environment: 78-85F, 50-55% RH, 600-650ppm CO2, 750-850ppfd, and watered from bottom 6.0ph Mineral Water along with a Spritzx2 each day. Use Cup weight and reactions of the plant to determine watering and allow for dry period once a week. 👌

Purple Punch is flowering very nicely, trichomes are out, and getting bigger buds. This will be around the 5th week of flowering. It did not double its size as I expected, just grew an extra 3-5 cm. I am surprised. Strange. It remained small but the flowers are beautiful. I did not raise up the water intake just left it the same 200ml 2x a day. Clean water in the morning and then fertilization in the evening. I really like this plant. I think I will order more seeds. Purple Punch height end of the week is the same 43 cm.
