This week they came out of the nursery and started to absorb light from their leaves instead of water. Growth is slower with the Northern Lights vs. the Cookies Gelato. “Cookie” is a monster so I will name it “Cookie Monster”, and The Northern Lights is called “Noel” because she will be ready around Christmas… When I was young we used to get “Christmas Buds” around the second half of December, which was Original Northern Lights. It’s a childhood dream of mine to grow Northern Lights, so I’m so excited for her to grow up big and strong.😛

Skunk apple runtz a random cross made by me. It's starting to root well. I can see it's roots coming out the bottom the pot already and there thick roots. The leaves on this plant have took a little stress the past week from the rh being off. It seems to like being topped it's pushing out new growth quite strong. This past week all the plants did great dealing with getting repotted and topped in the same week. I definitely took a Rick doing that seeing i only left each plant with 4 leaves. This past week was also a struggle to keep the vpd in a decent range. The Temps outside have been below 32 for a few days with Temps dipping down to almost 0 at night. With the space heater running it's pulling the humidity down. I think I have figured out the solution to that problem so I won't run into that next time it gets cold again. All the plants have really started to grow their new branches sense being topped. A few of the plants are a little smaller than I'd like but I'm gonna keep em alive for now.

Week 4 Last week was good gave the last defoliation for day 21. Adding a higher feed for her. This one got crazy pistil produced & it’s going all the way down the plant it’s the shortest out of the 3 but has the 2nd most pistil producing on it Check out my IG for more content @therealterpio & check out my other dairies (jungle verde & Gelato Cake)

Well, sadly had to harvest a week early due to some bud rot. Gave everything a good wash with baking soda, lemon juice and double rinsed. Hang dried for 10 days, paper bag to sweat for 2 days, then straight to grove bags. Full weight dried, just over 1lb. I fimmed so much in anticipation of rot, so while the buds were smaller there was a LOT. Test smoke was amazing, shocked how smooth it was with zero cure, packed a punch to! I expect the humidity to rise a bit in the grove bags over a few days, hoping 60% range. I mostly make FECO for gummies with everclear extraction, so excuse the less then tight trim, trichomes are trichomes! Ended up snipping the second haul 10 days after first, still going strong, but very wet, dont expect it to last much longer. Never going back to synthetic nutes, sticking with organic living soil from this point on! Got Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower on order for next year, plan on doing a 16 cola manifold with some LST. Will cut the trunk and let the root mass decay over winter, will mulch leaves and compost over it all until next years plant is ready to go in around April. Another year down! She continues to pile on the trichomes and is developing exquisite reddish purple hairs in her flowers that look absolutely wicked! She is definitely one of the most photogenic cultivar's I've grown and is looking lovelier by the day! 😍 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days, which will put her around two or three more weeks from finishing, with the most exciting weeks yet to come! I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and Top Dressed her with 2 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, 1/2 cup Down To Earth Bio-Fish, 1/3 cup Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and 2 cups of Worm Castings. week three flower everything looks fine so far :D eight days after defoliation I water them with 1.5l every 48h the light I use was set to 80% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops both gorillas had thrown a few balls, but I removed them as soon as I saw them, I will keep watching them!

Moin 😎, Woche 11 ist vorbei und die Damen gehen so langsam in Rente. Und zumindest die Papaya sieht auch schon so aus. 👻 Ich reduziere jetzt schrittweise die Wasserzufuhr und die Lichtstärke. Hatte bis jetzt so um die 1000 PPFD in der Mitte und 850 an den Rändern und ich gehe zurück bis auf 600 PPFD in den nächsten 10 Tagen. Weiß nicht, ob sie noch viel länger brauchen werden. Trichome sind 70% milchig und 30% klar. Auf den Zuckerblättern schon das eine oder andere Bernsteinfarbene. Ich habe mir einen 150L Weinkühlschrank zugelegt (siehe Video) den versorge ich erstmal provisorisch mit einer Umluft und eventuell schon einer RH gesteuerten Abluft und dann werde ich Buds zum Testen schonmal reinlegen. Ich möchte Next Level Qualität und beim Grow kann ich kaum noch was rausholen. Jetzt muss die Trocknung optimiert werden. Als Tipp kann ich euch schonmal mitgeben, dass ihr am besten beim Trocknen einen VPD von 0.9kPa aufrecht erhaltet. Egal wie die Temperaturen erstmal sind. TUESDAY 7/23: The FIM'ing seems to have only doubled her main, but that's okay. She's going from Hawaii conditions to Arizona conditions every day...8-10 hour of 72f/70+%RH to 12-14 hours of 96f/35%RH and taking it like a champ. I foliar fed her after taking her outside today and started training her a little bit. Gonna try to get those tiny lower branches to think they have a shot at "primary cola" status. I had no wire with me, so I just used a pliable length of dead-ish vine that was lying on the ground. I'll use some wire and binder clips when I can find it.. Evening...same day: She broke the vine I was using to hold her down, so I dug around and found some clips and wire. WEDNESDAY: She was just about 4 inches beneath 120w of LED last night with tons of blue spectra, 69f temperature and 80% RH. Those lower branches gained another half inch each and the top colas have turned to face the sun. I foliar fed her and gave her a little douche of Bactrex this morning when I took her outside. Had a cool front come through today, so the high will just be 87f and it's dropping to the mid to low 60's tonight..hooray! They're forecasting another day or two like this before the return to "oven-like" conditions.👍 I carried my pole saw down to the site at daybreak and removed a few smaller branches above them and to the West. I'll see if it is allowing some evening sun to reach her when I go down there to fetch her home to the LED's for the evening. THURSDAY: I was somewhat successful with getting a little bit more direct sunlight to her while outside during the day..about another 20-25 extra minutes. She got a sip of compost tea today with a little kelp me kelp you and big bloom. I tweaked her indoor domain a bit..she's now got 2 x 12w Miracle LED veg bulbs (cool white with 475nm peak), 1 x 75w cool white/460nm 225LED panel, 1 x 40w Sansi daylight grow bulb, 1 x 50w 460nm/cool white flood, and 1 x 18w 18" pinkish grow light bar. None of the lights are more than 5 inches from her, so she's incredibly well lit. I'm estimating that it's about 5,000 micromoles an hour, but I'm keeping the temp at her canopy under 80f with 90+% RH. It's not direct sunlight, but I think she's happy. I'm still undecided as to whether I'll keep her on a 24/0 schedule or if I'll cut it back to 20/4 when she starts flowering. Since I can provide her with a cool and humid environment for a third of the day, I'm leaning towards running 24/0 the whole grow. FRIDAY: I accidentally burnt her up a little bit today..one of the overhead LED's slipped and was about an inch from her top leaves...oops..I put her outside and misted her with some boom boom spray and kelp me kelp you.. SATURDAY: She's got a few crispy leaves, but she perked up and is growing again...whew...😓 SUNDAY: I tweaked her indoor environment today. She's now got a 120w quantum board (3500k) overhead, a 24w panel with 225 x 660nm red LEDs, the 40w Sansi light, one 9w 2' bar grow light, and one 12w Miracle LED blue.

160 days of life harvested on day 63 of flower. I don’t have photos of her vegging but she started off great. About two weeks in, she started having some major issues. Her leaves started atrophying, curling up at the borders, growing 3 finger leaves, all new growth was deformed and twisted and growth in general almost stopped completely, to what I suspect was from broad mites. These fuckers are nasty! I dm’d my local grow shop and tried out some Neem Oil. I diluted it in water like they recommended and sprayed that baby every day for one week, then every other day the following week, then down to once a week. I sprayed her leaves stem and surface of the soil. I also cleaned the entire grow space with some bleach solution. Doing this allowed her to really bounce back, growth started to take off again! So I vegged for a few more weeks and trained her as much as I could to keep her uniform but short, she responded well to this. During flower, she was very happy. I had two main issues during this time, one was being too hot in Nitrogen and a week of very hot temperatures which burned her a slight bit, although she didn’t seem to mind much. I also could’ve continued a once a week spray of Neem oil because I think they might’ve started to come back on the lower and younger leaves that weren’t getting much light. Overall it was a dope grow and hope to do better on the next one!

Sep 13: still going. Smells nice but the buds are not forming normally. Bad phenotype but apparently not a hermie. Will keep going for another couple weeks at least. Sep 16: defoliated lots of fan leaves to provide more direct sunlight on the buds. She is putting on weight and might be better overall than i thought.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are on the final stretch and this girl is stinking up the neighborhood... What a grow from the very beginning. She has been full of vigor and she is now eating herself up and swelling herself up. Getting ready for daddy to take her down... Zamnesia Seeds thank you again for an awesome grow! I hope everybody is having a great week in their plants are doing well.. i'm thinking 10 days maybe which would put me at the very beginning of the breeders timeframe, which is 63-77 days ... this plant has been an extremely fast maturing plant, and I cannot see it going much past that 63 day mark .. as always trichoms are the deciding factor.. hope all is well God bless and happy growing ✌️
