Starting off week 8 pretty solid. High Tide amendment from Commonwealth Canna has really helped the plants out. Added a 4 foot stake to the tallest plant. Pound Cake does not need much nutrients. My tips were burned as a result of too much Humic Acid in weeks 3-4. You and learn. Besides for that issue, they are rolling alone very nicely.

🌿 LSD — Week 9 from Seed (Week 6 Flower) 12/12 from Seed | Photoperiod Genetics behaving differently ⸻ Quick Recap — Understanding the Structure These are photoperiod plants, but grown 12/12 from seed, which changes everything. From the very beginning, they grew under the signal of: “The season is ending.” Because of that, instead of building long vegetative structures, they: • prioritized vertical growth early • reduced lateral expansion • focused on reproductive sites sooner 👉 What we’re seeing now is the result of that decision: • a dominant central cola (main “collar”) • symmetrical but limited side branching • a very uniform structure across all three plants And honestly… they look like magicians because they adapted perfectly to the rules they were given. ⸻ 🌸 Current State — Week 6 Flower • Bud formation: clearly established, stacking nicely • Early frost: already visible → great sign for terpene/resin development • Structure: clean, upright, central dominance • Stem strength: very solid — supporting weight without stress • Defoliation: light work done to improve airflow and light penetration There’s also something interesting: 👉 These plants show a strong tendency to throw roots from stems/branches That’s a sign of vigorous internal energy and high adaptability ⸻ 🌱 Environment & Philosophy • Room: 28°C / 68% RH • Outside: ~10°C / 87% RH Given the external conditions, stability inside the room is actually very solid. And this is important: We don’t chase numbers. We observe them. • Focus is on plant response, not just meters • We aim for leaf VPD, not just room VPD • Right now → conditions are within a healthy working range ⸻ Feeding No changes this week. The current feeding schedule is: • stable • well-tolerated • supporting healthy development 👉 When something is working, we don’t interfere. ⸻ 🎭 New Team Member This week we officially welcome: Mr. Baggy 👜 He’s here, he’s learning, and he’s already part of the process. (Photos included in this update) ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (Next Weeks) • Bud swelling phase continues • Resin production increases significantly • Aroma profile begins to fully express • Minimal structural changes from here on Because of the 12/12-from-seed structure, don’t expect: • massive lateral expansion • large canopy reshaping 👉 This run is about refinement, not expansion ⸻ ⚠️ What Not to Expect • No explosive stretch (that phase is done) • No heavy training interventions • No drastic feeding changes unless needed We stay consistent. We observe. We adjust only if the plant asks. ⸻ About the Genetics (Why they behave like this) These LSD genetics are showing: • strong apical dominance • efficient energy allocation to the main cola • early transition to reproductive mode under 12/12 👉 In a normal veg cycle, these plants would likely: • branch more • widen their structure • delay flower development But here, they adapted to a compressed timeline — and it shows beautifully. ⸻ 🙏 A Note to the Community To: • longtime followers • new visitors • curious growers • supporters, skeptics, lovers, haters Everyone has a place here. Big thanks to: • the GrowDiaries platform • the breeders behind the genetics • the sponsors supporting the journey • and the entire growing community ⸻ 🌿 Closing Things are moving fast now. From here on, it’s about: • observation • patience • and letting the plant finish its story And honestly… they’re doing it beautifully. 📡 DELETED @ 1K Please stay tuned.we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@DOGDOGTHEDOCTOR NEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Well she has grown some to say the least. A lot more pistils sprouting and their calyx’s swelling💪🏻.Nothing much else to report other than she seems to be doing just fine, other than a little tip burn from the addition of nutes she has taken to it all like a trooper💪🏻

Do-Si-dos autoflower is doing okay. She develop some spots upon getting into the solution. I think it is a little strong. She had her first lst, and defoliation today. The ph and everything has been very stable. Nothing else to report at the moment. Timelapse! I've meant to get a timelapse camera set up since I first started this grow. I am reasonably confident that future weeks will include full-week timelapses. For most of this week, my plant has seemed to have stopped growing. It got to a point where the leaves were becoming wilted, which prompted me to add nutrients. I was a bit skeptical regarding whether it was a good time to do this, or if I would be adding nutrients prematurely. All has seemed to have gone well with the nutrients, as the next day the leaves perked up substantially. Mid week, I changed the light schedule form 18/6 to 20/4 because I figured more light would enable better growth. Currently, I am puzzled as to why the leaves have developed some light and dark splotches. Could this be a result of light stress? EDIT (in response to my leaf spotting question): Thanks to those who have responded to my leaf spotting question! I have raised the light from 18.5in (I never measured it until now) to the recommended 24in. There is no chance of nutrient solution getting on the leafs to cause the spotting, but I did spray the tent with water + (dilute) hydrogen peroxide in an attempt to raise the humidity. Maybe this is the cause? I am currently battling the relative humidity. As someone mention, it is low! If i plug in my room-humidifier, the humidity will get way to high (80%+). I've placed an open container of tap water + hydrogen peroxide mix in the tent, but it doesn't appear to do much! I'd like to note here that I am using liquid indicator drops for my pH, so the pH is only my best measurement at the time of mixing solution. My pH may not be as low as I indicated this week! I think I'll throw in some tap water in lieu of cal-mag supplements,. I figure my city's hard water may be of benefit here!

WHATS NEW...? THIS WEEK SHE MADE AVERAGE PROGRESS. PROBABLY BECAUSE OF THE HIGH TEMPERATURES (90F/30C). BUT NEXT WEEK IM GONNA PROBABLY GET MY NEW DEHUMIDIFIER AND THE NEXT WEEKS GONNA BE MUCH COLDER ON AVERAGE COMPARED TO LAST MONTH (SUMMER ENDS). SO SHE HOPEFULLY GETS IN THE NEXT 1-2 WEEKS A BOOST WHEN THE TEMPS ARE MORE IDEAL. THE EXTRA CO2 PROBABLY ALSO HELPS. KEEP ON GROWING, SMOKING & ENJOYING LIFE ☢️👽💨

This is my second time around. Out of nostalgia, I opted for Golden Sands by Humboldt Seeds. Twenty years ago, that strain got the whole housing estate high. For a while, it looked like only one of the five seeds would sprout. In the end, a second one decided to fight for life, too. At least they’ll have more room to themselves.
