Budding has accelerated like crazy , and this girl is getting frosty . It's the frostiest plant in my grow by far. I'm getting a strange smell off my grow that I heard another grower mention , an almost moldy smell . Got me kind of worried but I've looked it up and down and see no sign whatsoever of mold or mildew. I do have a cheese plant in the grow that may be contributing to the smell . I've backed off the nutes as it seemed to not like what I was giving it , and I've also moved my entire tent to a cooler spot and the temp has been staying around 28 .

Let's remember, in week 6 one of my king's tart had been broken in 2 because of the tension due to my bad LST. This plant grows much taller than the others. I'm trying to lower his height by doing HST. Currently she does not seem to complain about it. I preferred to remove my net this week, to more easily access my plants and water them. I hope the branches will hold I cut a lot of leaf this week. I hear different opinions that say it's beneficial others not... Here we are at week 5 already. The pistils are starting to turn red and the bulk is coming on. These plants have a nice mild lemony smell to them right now. They are at maximum nutrients and maximum light until they finish the third little stubby one appears to be ahead of the rest which is understandable given it doesn’t have nearly the mass to feed. Black Opium - Week Update 🌿 Quick update on Black Opium! Reached unexpected heights with branches exceeding 50cm in length. Running a bit behind her tent mates but now bulking up nicely - the buds are doing excellent work despite inevitable light stress. For an 8L pot she’s absolutely massive! Germination started on 4/2 and they finally sprouted out the dirt on 4/12. I'll update this every Tuesday. Obviously going to be a long one but hopefully yall follow every step! : - Day 1 week 5: just checking how lst is doing, they will be ok - Day 2 week 5: not completely dry to water so I’ll wait for day 3 of week. Did lst to make sure all branches receive as much ligth as possible - Day 3 week 5: watered them with 4ml/L calmag and 2ml/L bio grow ph 6,5 tap water trough activated carbon filter. RHC#2 broke one of the branches, I had to tape it. Not to be worried, she’ll recover from that. RHC#3 is very slow compared to the others. - Day 4 week 5: defoliation so sun enters better and wait. - Day 5 week 5: added 1L of water with 2ml/L Bio grow, 6 ml/L calmag and 2ml/L bio heaven. 1600 us/cm and ph 6,2 - 6,5. RHC#3 suffered of broken branch due lst 😞 still learning about the flexibility of branches. I think she’ll recover hoping not too much stress for her. - Day 6 week 5: RHC#3 looks good despite broken branch. Not much for today just watch temp and humidity, hoping they grow tall so I can cover a good part of the tent.

So far so good. Seems to have taken well to the LST. I did notice the early signs of CO² deficiency and added an organic CO² producer on day 37. Hopefully that spurs the growth. Last frost is in a little over a week. After that I hope the power of the Yukon sun can really give it a boost in its final weeks.
