9/28 Day 24. Raised air pumps above the water line using two 5 gal buckets. Removed the inline air backflow valve and this increased aeration greatly!
- Feeding day. Red TDS 850. EC 1.8 / Blue TDS 800. EC 1.7 / Yellow TDS 785. EC 1.6 / 10ml CalMag, 10ml Micro, 5ml Grow, 5ml Bloom, 2ml UC Roots. Will check TDS & EC through the week as they are starting to drink up the water.
- LST started today. I will be adjusting them daily to pull off shoot branches in different directions.
9/30 Day 26. Added water for the first time. Used purified drinking water from the grocery store (Ph 7.45 TDS 95 EC .2) and PH'd it down to 5.9
10/1 Day 27. Readjusted the LST wires and added some new ones on the stems that can now be pulled in different directions. Red suffered a break on the main stem that went 1/2 through the stalk. I decided to use the LST wire to push it back together so that it can heal. I will still train the other shoots in different directions and let the main stem just do it's thing. Blue and Yellow pulled in new directions to open up the middle and spread out the stems.
- I defoliated (light amount) some of the 3 leaf blades that were touching the container lids, and any larger 5 leaf blades that were blocking light to any new shoots with new stem growth and potential bud sites. I wanted to allow the air flow at the lower section of the plant.
10/2 Day 28. Everyone is bouncing back from the LST. Keeping a close eye on Red and the injury healing. I've decided to do a 1/2 of a weekly feed every 4 days instead of a mass feeding once a week. I will test the TDS and EC, see what the plants are telling me before I feed of course.
(All values before feeding)
- Red PH 5.98 TDS 720 EC 1.512
- Blue PH 6.17 TDS 728 EC 1.544 / Will add .25 PH down and re-test all in an hour after the feed to check PH values.
- Yellow PH 5.93 TDS 708 EC 1.497
Feeding: 5ml CalMag, 5ml Micro, 4 ml Gro, 2ml Bloom, 2ml UC Root Guard.
Post Feed values:
- Red PH 5.78 TDS 808 EC 1.695
- Blue PH 5.90 TDS 846 EC 1.796
- Yellow PH 5.73 TDS 803 EC 1.700
Lessons learned week 4.
1. Be a little more gentle on LST.
2. Mark the water sight gauge at each 1 gallon increment so that I can track water replenishment levels.
3. Started a spreadsheet to monitor feeding value changes.

I received some great tips here. For starters by suggestion I have lowered my day-time temps to between 75-78 degrees and my night-time temps to between 65-68 degrees. I had no intentions of trimming/defoliation anymore. So far she's adjusted well. Ive adjusted to only watering from the bottom instead of top watering.

Che dire ragazzi tutte le sorelle sono fantastiche.😍
La numero 1 è il capo famiglia, davvero imponente.
La numero 2 ha staccato le altre di 5 cm, ora è lei la più alta con i suoi 155 cm.
La numero 3 invece ha i buds già bellissimi.
Nel complesso crescono bene e forti con una distanza intermodale marcata che le fanno respirare bene. Ora le fragoline misurano circa 1 cm di diametro e quelle della numero 3 misurano circa 1.5 cm💪
L odore inizia a marcare i suoi aromi, pungenti note di mapo (Citrus × tangelo) si mischiano a leggeri sentori di gasolio.😋
Ho defogliato loro nel giorno 67 e ho allargato tutti le apicale dalla pianta 1 con Lst, i nuts rimangono invariati.👍

Grow diary 11 Stage 2
Days 11-20
The light schedule was altered to 19/5 on day 11 and the 6 inch distance was maintained until she went into the main tent. Lights on 7pm off 2pm
Day 12 was the 1st time she was watered/fed since day 6 when it was soaked for transplant. After day 12 she was fed 300ml every day and the run off checked to make sure everything was in range.
Day 17 she was topped after the 2nd set of nodes. I'm thinking of removing the lowest set of nodes in a few days and doing a small mainlining project,
Day 18 she was moved into my new main tent (gorilla shorty gt225). The light is my mars hydro TS1000 set at 50% power 20 inch above the canopy. The wilma system is just hydroton/clay balls, and the feeds are on at 8pm for 15mins and on at 12.30pm for 15mins.
Day 20 she seems to be adjusting to the topping and the transplant.
I'm happy with how the last 9/10 days have gone, its still been mega hot and i have managed to battle the heat quite well so the plants haven't suffered.
At the moment all 4 strains are at about the same point in growth.
I have included my 2 plants for gorilla growing in this diary, one is another Bruce banner, which was born mega deformed and she probably wont amount to anything. The other one is a northern lights which is doing well.

End of this winter grow! Those ladies have been a pleasure to grow even if the very low temps may have had a negative impact. I also messed up by boosting them a bit too much before the flush but I think it helped densifing the buds in the end. Smell is awesome, trichs density is good as well as bud density, can't wait to vape test her!!
My first attempt in lst was maybe more hst like, broke a few branches, stressed them too much... So I will be more gentle next time and I hope the hardware I'm working on will help me in that.

Topped Gelato #1 twice on different stems on days 52 & 56, Gelato #2 on day 56
Started feeding 4ml Foliage-Pro & a dose of Zyme on day 54.
Color & health seems to be back on track.

Today is day 77 so we are starting week 12 .. all the plants are doing great 👍 Gummiebears is the real star of the show as she's double any other girls I have going right now.. she in 4 gallon pot and is around 44 to 45 inches tall and has so so many bud sites that are stacking fast.. she is 2 weeks behind in flower but you wouldn't know it .. Grease Gun and Froot by the foot are almost ready for the flush stage , today I fed them next to nothing.. Cream however is still getting full dose and she taking it well ...... Early on I cut the lowest 2 branches and cloned them and stuck them in a vase with nutrient water fore 10 days then stuck them in dirt and boy have they takin off .. they started to reveg and I look forward to seeing how crazy that gets ... pictures about illustrating what they once where vs now .. hope all is well.. Update- Fri 14th May
Week has been ok but I've not been there as much so it'll be nice to see them today. It looked gorgeous last time there are so many bud sticks popping up from the curly FAT main lines .
UPDATE - TUESDAY 18th May
All has been going well as you can see from the photos. The only problem is that I have two TOTALLY different Spectrum lights in there so I have to keep switching them over to even the plant out!
I’m trying to come up with a better solution but I don’t know if I will be able to afford my cabling, adaptors and all the little bits I need to build my 10 light COB.

too keen for this strain she looks like a strong seedling coming into veg hard , no space between nodes which might be me and too much light, but damn i know they love it

Only had chance to do photos on day 41 guys, apologies for that.
This week I think there was a Gamma Radiation leak nearby.. She grew 34cm!!!!!!!!!! 😂 thats almost 5cm / 2" per day. All 4 tops (from FIMing) are almost equal in height. She is well into flowering so I'd like her vertical growth to slow a bit 😅 Lots of flower sites forming! She is quite bushy.
These growcaps have impressed me so far, I thought they were a bit of a gimmick but I think they really do work. There was no sign of any deficiency or over feeding at all so they seem very well suited to the task. The only thing I wonder is how many weeks do they last?
Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 650ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water.

Working on day 47, 17 days into flower and one of these GSC what really taken off she's stacking up well. Dealing with some cal mag problem in these as well, did a flush with 4 gals per pot and will amend the soil on the on the next watering after we get a nice dry. Will be using bloom and oystershell flour. One of these ladies had some lst done to her as she was just way to close to the light. Did some defoliation with all the girls in the tent to try and open things up a bit, I know autos but things were pretty crazy and a lot of bud hidden. The intake filter for the hood works very well the glass inside is very clean after 28 days, just gave the outside a quick wipe and good as new. Ive got the temps back down a bit and holding strong at 25, when I checked the tent it was running around 28, highest being 30 at one point not sure how long that went on for but it's all fixed up now. Its a working progress learning indoor growing 2 weeks at a time but hey it is what it is and were having fun. hope you enjoyed.
