It gets more beautiful from week to week 😍. The buds are getting thicker and thicker and already smell very good :-). The time has come when she no longer puts her strength into growth but into the flowers :-). It was poured 3 times this week with 1.2 l each time. When watering, there was 1 g of GHSC enhancer per liter of water as every 2 weeks 👍. Of course, as always, the tent was cleaned every day and the humidifier refilled. The complete filter system was also checked again. I filled the tank with fresh osmosis water for the coming week. I wish you all a nice week. This will be top dress and lollipop week. They’re all healthy and lush. Day 16. Went ahead and lollipopped and top dressed. 3 tbs of power bloom 284 and some honey. Each pot got about 2 liters of top water. Moved the trellis up to later have some stability but probably done tucking.

We are at that critical point where timing comes into play. BB reversal is like 5 weeks in. Fem donors to be pollinated went in feb 16 and 20.. did two rounds to make sure something worked. Reversed BB is just full of male pollen sacs, they are beginning to open up and show bananas. There’s a point between when they open up naturally and when that pollen is easily used, and it’s a couple days at least. So if I pull a opened sac off now, try to open the bananas it’s somewhat difficult and often not much pollen in there... it’s just not quite ready. In a few days I’ll grab one and it’ll just like turn to dust damn near when I apply any force to it. That’s the time to start really trying to pollinate. You can see tho, I got several pulled off and opened up and placed right on top of fem flowers. We’re almost there! Now let’s just hope the couple fems I got going in another room don’t get much of this from it.. I got a couple in week 2-4 right now that would definitely be ripe for pollination. 2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Remember, For every molecule of glucose produced during photosynthesis, a plant needs to split six molecules of water. This process provides the hydrogen needed for synthesizing glucose and other organic compounds, while oxygen is released as a byproduct. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen supply limits the plant's ability to produce adequate amounts of RuBisCO, thereby limiting the overall capacity for photosynthesis and carbon fixation. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Deviations in either direction (too high or too low) disrupt the enzyme's structure, activation state, and interaction with its substrates, leading to decreased activity and impaired RuBP regeneration. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. For those high-intensity workouts when 1 meal a day is just not enough! Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The plant was getting a little limey yellow in the centre. Shortly thereafter, she was back in business, green mostly regenerated. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. 📆 Week 6, 26 May - 1 June 2024 26-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 1 Jun - Did a light defoliation of plant (see picture) to allow light to reach all bud sites. 📑 This is her first week of true flower and she is still stretching some. Her size has doubled and as is now into more intense lighting, the canopy coverage reads at 40 DLI. It looks like the light power will need to only stay at 50% in this small tent. The new light is proving itself well so far, more light without added heat, no complaints - except for the dimmer switch. Day 60. Girls are super bushy , stretchy and healthy. Should get huge feed tomorrow. All looks good, need just first buds to appear and i will trim them a lot ! Saw couple flies, gave sticky traps. I am in the middle of trim jail with Zamnesia run and head is empty to write anything more now except - i think my friend should be very VERY very happy with AMS and MARS HYDRO products ! ;))) Girls a bit droopy , because he was late with todays watering, still supercroped main cola, she was stepping a lot ... Happy Growing !

Iniziamo a far germinare un seme utilizzando Easy Start di Zamnesia 💙🗿👍🏻, inumidito da acqua e Voodoo Juice di Advanced Nutrients 🔝 TENT-X 🤖 controlla la situazione visto che le temperature minime outdoor, sono ancora troppo rigide.

Hallo Growfreunde, da bin ich wieder mit einem kleinen Update 🤗😁. Heute ist Tag 5 nach der Umstellung auf 12/12. Der stretch sollte sich bald bemerkbar machen, aber sollte keine Probleme geben, Platz ist da😎💪. Ich habe diese Woche den Tank das erste Mal nachgefüllt, allerdings diesmal mit nur 20L, damit das Wasser nicht so lange steht. Es hatte sich ein kleines CalMag problem angedeutet, was sich aber schonwieder eingependelt hat. Entlaubt habe ich auch. Große Fächerblätter wurden entfernt, aber sehen tut man dass nach 2 Tagen schon nicht mehr😅😅. Ende Woche 2 werde ich nochmal lollipoppen und entlauben, danach wird nix mehr gemacht. Mal sehen ob der Dünger bis zum Ende reicht😅. Hab heute, 13.10 nochmal die Positionen der Töpfe verändert und die Pflanzen auch anders angeordnet. Nutze jetzt fast die vollen 2m breite😁😁 mal sehen ob ich das ganze Zelt voll kriege🤣🤣😂😂. Was schätzt ihr so was an ertrag raus kommt?! Bin echt gespannt🤗🤗🤗🤗🤪. In 2-3 Tagen mach ich nochmal ein Update, bis dahin liebe Growfreunde 💞💞💞

The 2x Northern Lights and 1x Critical have really stepped it up over the last stretch. The buds are noticeably fatter, denser, and frostier now, and the Northern Lights in particular are looking dialled in. Nice dark green leaves, solid tops, and a proper layer of trichomes building across the flowers and sugar leaves. The Critical is still the one fading the hardest, with more yellowing across the canopy, but the buds themselves are still developing well and stacking nicely. At this point I’m letting it ride. Overall, the tent is looking far more mature than it did just a week ago. Pistils are turning, calyxes are swelling, and the whole thing is starting to look like a proper finish is on the horizon. Stats so far: 💧 Watering: Every third day 🌡️ Temp: 26–28°C 💦 Humidity: 65% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.18 kPa 💡 Light: ~700 PPFD

My Skunk Apple plant's a little behind the others. I think it started flowering a couple weeks later. It's a smaller plant, but it's finally starting to fill out. I'm guessing I've got maybe two weeks left before it's ready to chop. The past week has been awesome for drying my plants. The weather's been perfect – nice and dry, with just enough breeze to keep things moving. I finally got around to chopping down those two big plants I've been meaning to trim. They're almost ready, just need a little more time to dry out completely. I can't wait to see how they turned out.

Things picking up now. Set up my in tent camera so that I can monitor the grow room and temps from my Phone! Great little gadget! Makes my work a lot easier too. More pictures of the girls shortly. DAY 32: Done some slight LST and leaf tucking to expose the bud sites to more light for more tops as I can tell pre flowers will soon start to appear.
