👑 Godfather OG – Pheno A Week 9 | The Queen Is Getting Loud Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! 💚🌱 And this week, our demanding Queen has something very interesting to say. She's still demanding. She's still not giving me that deep, lush green that I personally love seeing. She's still one of the girls that makes me pay a little more attention. But... she's growing. She's building. She's developing beautiful flowers. And there's one thing she has absolutely no intention of keeping quiet about anymore: her smell. 👃🔥 This girl is becoming loud. Very loud. In fact, at the moment, she's carrying the strongest aroma I've found anywhere in the tent. And that has my attention. 👑 A Quick Recap — Our Demanding Queen If you've been following Godfather OG Pheno A from the beginning, you'll already know that she has never exactly been the easiest girl in the room. She's one of the tallest plants in the 8×8 Adventure, sitting around 169 cm, and she's consistently been one of the more demanding phenotypes when it comes to nutrition and overall attention. But that's also what makes her fascinating. Because we're not giving her a special environment. We're not building a separate feeding programme just for her. We're not changing the rules of the experiment because one plant asks for something different. We have twelve different genetics and more than twenty plants sharing the same ecosystem. They receive the same general treatment. They share the same room. They share the same environmental conditions. They share the same reservoir. And then... they show us who they are. Godfather OG Pheno A is showing us that she is a Queen with an appetite. 😂👑 🌿 Still Growing. Still Building. The most important thing this week? She's still moving forward. She's still developing. She's still putting on flower. And when I look at her within the tent, she has that presence that makes her difficult to ignore. She's tall. She's commanding. She's reaching through the canopy. And those flowering sites are becoming increasingly impressive. The plant isn't sitting still waiting for us to figure her out. She's busy. She's building. She's doing exactly what a plant in this stage should be doing: developing her flowers. And honestly, that's what I care about most. 🍃 That Green... Now, I'm not going to pretend. She's not wearing the green I like. 😂 I love seeing that deep, rich, lush green across the canopy. Godfather OG Pheno A isn't quite giving me that right now. Her foliage is noticeably lighter in places, and because I know how demanding she has been throughout this run, it's something I'm continuing to observe carefully. But there's a very important distinction here. Not looking exactly how I want doesn't automatically mean she's failing. She's still growing. She's still flowering. She's still producing. She's still developing. And the flowers themselves are telling us a very different story from simply looking at the colour of the leaves. So I'm not going to panic. I'm not going to create a problem just because I don't like one particular shade of green. I'm going to keep watching the entire plant. Because the plant is always more than one leaf. 🌸 And Those Flowers... This is where she really starts getting interesting. Because despite everything I've just said about the foliage... look at the flowers. Beautiful. The flower structures are developing nicely, and the plant is continuing to build along those long branches. There's increasing definition. There's increasing resin development. There's plenty of fresh pistil growth. And there's a sense that she's gradually moving from the stretching and structural-building phase into the part of flowering where the flowers themselves become the main event. That's the transition I'm watching closely now. The plant has already built the framework. Now we're waiting to see what she does with it. And I have a feeling... she's going to have something to say about that. 👑 👃 The Loudest Girl in the Tent Now let's talk about the thing that really caught me this week. The smell. Oh... She's loud. 😂🔥 At the moment, Godfather OG Pheno A is producing the strongest aroma I've encountered in the tent so far. And when you're surrounded by more than twenty plants, that's saying something. Every time I get around her, she's basically announcing: "I'm here." No introduction necessary. No invitation required. She has arrived. And this is exactly the kind of thing I love discovering as flowering progresses. Because early in the run, you can look at a plant and make all sorts of guesses. Then suddenly, somewhere along the way, the plant starts revealing another part of its identity. For Godfather OG Pheno A... that identity is becoming increasingly aromatic. She's loud. She's noticeable. And she's making me extremely curious about where this profile is going to take us as the flowers continue to mature. I'm not going to try to name the final aromatic profile yet. It's still developing. But I can tell you one thing: this girl wants to be noticed. 👑👃 🔥 The Interesting Part About This Phenotype This is where the whole phenotype-hunting concept becomes so much fun. We're watching plants under essentially the same conditions. Same room. Same lighting. Same irrigation. Same nutrition. Same general environment. And yet Godfather OG Pheno A is behaving like a completely different character. She's tall. She's demanding. She's lighter in colour than I'd prefer. And she's becoming the loudest plant in the tent. That's a personality. And I love it. Because we're not trying to force her to become something else. We're trying to discover what she already is. The Experiment Continues One of the hardest things about running a room like this is accepting that you can't make every plant happy in exactly the same way. If you're growing one plant, you can react to every little difference. But when you're running twelve genetics and more than twenty plants, the philosophy changes. We establish a consistent baseline. We provide the environment. We observe the response. And then we learn. Some plants thrive immediately. Some demand more. Some stay darker. Some become lighter. Some stretch. Some stay compact. Some become incredibly aromatic. And some... become the Queen of the room. The Queen has officially fired her photographer. 👑📸😂 So unfortunately, this week's update doesn't have her usual individual photo collection. And I'm genuinely sorry about that. But I don't want that to stop us from documenting her journey. We're still sharing photographs from the wider ecosystem, and we're still sharing videos from inside the tent. She's there. She's growing. She's developing. And if you've been following the diary, you can go back through the previous weeks and use those updates to identify her position and structure in the room. So while I don't have her usual close-ups this week... the Queen is absolutely still here. 👑🌱 And I promise I'll try not to lose her again. 😂 🌸 The Flowers Are Her Best Argument And perhaps that's what makes this week so interesting. If I only looked at the foliage, I might say: "Hmm... I'm not completely happy with this." But then I look at the flowers. And I think: "Okay, girl..." Because she's producing. She's building. She's developing beautiful structures. She's getting increasingly frosty. And she's becoming increasingly aromatic. So once again, the plant is reminding me not to judge one characteristic in isolation. The Queen may not be dressed in the greenest dress in the ballroom... but she's certainly wearing some beautiful flowers. 👑🌸 🔍 What Am I Watching? At this stage, there are a few things I'm particularly interested in. First: How much more will she bulk? She's already developing nicely, and there's still plenty of flowering time ahead. Second: Where is that aroma going? Because she's already the loudest girl in the tent. I'm extremely curious to see how that aromatic character develops as the flowers mature. And third: How will her foliage progress? I'm continuing to watch her colour and overall plant health without jumping to conclusions. The goal isn't to make her look perfect. The goal is to understand her. That's a very different thing. 🌱 She's Teaching Me Again And this is probably the biggest lesson Godfather OG Pheno A is giving me this week. Sometimes a plant can challenge you... while still rewarding you. She can demand more attention. She can look different from what you personally prefer. She can make you question what's happening. And at the same time... she can produce beautiful flowers. She can develop an incredible aroma. She can continue growing strongly. And she can make you excited to see what happens next. That's cultivation. That's phenotype hunting. And that's why I'm enjoying this run so much. 👑 The Queen Is Still Writing Her Story So, Week 9. Approximately 169 cm. Still demanding. Still developing. Still not the deepest green in the room. But... beautiful. Beautiful flowers. Beautiful structure. Increasing frost. And the strongest smell in the tent so far. She's not finished. She's not even close. And that's what makes this so exciting. I'm genuinely curious about what happened here. What exactly is hiding inside this phenotype? What will those flowers become? How far will that aroma develop? And what will she look like when she finally decides she's done stretching and puts everything she has into finishing those flowers? I don't know yet. And honestly... I love not knowing. Because that's why we're here. Holy cow these ladies are going off. watch the time-lapse the end of week 3 and the stretch begins. the dark devils are showing the auto gene well they are stretching as well but not like the red poisons wow. going to le the dark devils dry out a little i think that strain does not like to much water. the red poisons are drinking like crazy. so already starting to flower at the end of week three. going to hold off on any flowering supplements for now to see if they are still eating the food that's in the mix still. cruising along see Ya next week.

Plants are growing well big difference in height in the frost banger and northern light. Both holding up to the heat and humidity very well just a few heat spots. Watering cycle slowed due to humidity not letting plants dry out at night. Thanks following.

Hallo zusammen, Wir befinden uns inzwischen in Woche 6 der Blütephase. Es ist sichtlich festzustellen, dass sie identisch wie die erste Purple Coockie Kush, während der Blütephase vereinzelt Versorgungsprobleme aufzeigt. Es liegt zumindest durch den eigen Versuch mit identischen Pflanzengut sehr nah, dass es wirklich weiter vererbt wurde. Dahingehend ein toller eigenversuch mit eher negativen Ausgang aber zugleich, wertvollen Erfahrungen für uns. Aus diesem Grund, sehen wir davon ab, die P.C.K die sich z.Zt im Re veg befindet, weiter zu führen. Am Wochenende werden wir uns noch mal die Blätter die Kraft nehmen, kleinstblüten und wahrscheinlich den einen Unterversorgten Trieb entfernen. Ansonsten schwellen die Blüten die versorgt werden schön an und Baldchin bauen breitgefächert aufeinander auf. So bis nächste Woche liebe Gartenfreunde und vielen Dank für das vorbeischauen! VG ✌️ 😎

Ripenes plant and deafling for penetration light pop corn buds,trichome is milky,wait other 2 week for harvest day

F62- Week 9 of flower starts tomorrow on day 64, gave them a flush today with about 3 litres each, water was Ph balanced to 6.4. The green crack has some leaves that have started to die off and curl at the tips, but the buds are still looking great. Not nearly as much colour on the leaves of the other two plants, which seem to be doing much better overall. Think that whenever I choose to grow next time I may just go for the NLxSkunk1 and see how much I can get off a plant or two, its a good yielding plant that has some very hardy genetics clearly. The trichomes have all started to turn cloudy, maybe about 50/50 cloudy to clear, will see what its looking like in a week when they're about to get the final watering. That's about it for now, hope that everyone out there is staying high and somewhat dry! Cheers F68-More amber hairs now, watered again yesterday. Will likely water once more before I chop them down, then let them hang for 10 days.

Day 43 of flower and no issues so far. Pheno #2 is stacking beautifully and is actually getting decently fat and she’s caked in trichromes. Pheno #1 is behind on the stack, colas are half the size which might be due the fact that she was topped 7 times, who knows. Super happy with the results so far. It smells like berries in there. I definitely feel this strain needs longer than 8 weeks. I’m aiming for 65 days of flower. Let me know if you guys think I should run her longer. Update at Day 45: White pistils have started reversing a bit and starting to grow brown. They seem to be doing pretty well. Pheno #1 is suffering from calcium deficiency but it’s too late inflower for me to try to do anything to fix it and the plant is pretty happy so I’m not worried. I’m still aiming to harvest at day 65. Did a squeeze test today just to get a feel of what the terpenes smell like. Pheno #1 is leaning more towards emerald headband as it just smells like gas and I love gas despite her being a finicky bitch to grow I’m excited lol. Pheno #2 is leaning towards blackberry kush as it just smells like fruity berries.

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. I've stopped closing up the tent at nights now. The plants are so far along in flowering they won't turn back to veg, even with the neighbor's lights on. So I'm not in there twice a day now. So I was a little surprised to find spider mites. The grow was going so good I thought I missed the bugs this year. But they showed up. I bought a Hypochlorous Acid Generator last year last year early so I was prepared. I used it at full strength last year for spider mites and I got yellow leaves after a couple of weeks. I guess the leaves got a bit fried at full strength. So this year I'm trying it at 1/2 strength with a drop of dish soap to help choke those dam spider mites. It's a little pricey, but I'm hoping to get years of use out of it, to make up for the price. Everything else is going good in here. Started flushing yesterday with PH adjusted tap water. The tap water used to be at 6.5 ph for years, but the water counsel found out that 7.5 ph water is better for you. So I have to adjust it. It's 1 drop of ph down per gallon and it makes it 5.7 ph. water. It will be 2 weeks more of flushing and then harvest. With the Panty Punch male plant ... I've seeded 1 branch of each plant and I've pollenated 4 clones too. They are - The White, Amnesia Lemon, Critical OG and Pink Kush. I'll send you some free good regular seeds if you want to do a diary on them. I learn from your diaries so I can improve my breeding technics. So if you would like some free seeds, privet message me and we can chat about them. I send them in a Christmas card with an international stamp. It cost me about 3 dollars Canadian. I don't mind. Blütetag 66 / Tag 126 – Final Ripening – Kush bereit, Gusher kocht noch Der Dutch Passion Double Run geht jetzt klar in die finale Reifephase. Beide Pflanzen zeigen sehr deutlich ihre genetischen Unterschiede – vor allem beim Reifetempo. Während die Triangle Sherbet Kush schon stark nach Ernte aussieht, lässt sich die White Gusher 33 noch etwas Zeit. 🌡️ Klima Klimatisch wurde es diese Woche wieder etwas kühler und feuchter. Das merkt man im Zelt sofort: Die Luftfeuchtigkeit steigt schneller und der VPD wird etwas schlechter. Ohne Klimaanlage lässt sich das nicht immer perfekt ausgleichen, aber in dieser späten Phase dürfte das die Pflanzen nicht mehr wesentlich beeinträchtigen. 🌿 Pflanzenstatus Beide Pflanzen befinden sich sichtbar im Endspurt, allerdings mit unterschiedlichem Tempo. Die Triangle Sherbet Kush wirkt inzwischen nahezu ausgereift. Die Buds sind massiv angeschwollen, dicht und schwer. Viel Wachstum passiert nicht mehr – sie konzentriert sich jetzt hauptsächlich auf Reife und Harzproduktion. Auch die Blattstellung zeigt das deutlich: Viele Fächerblätter stehen im typischen Kanu-Modus und wirken fast unbeweglich. Die Pflanze signalisiert ziemlich klar, dass sie langsam fertig ist. Die White Gusher 33 dagegen braucht noch etwas Zeit. Sie wirkt insgesamt etwas aktiver und schiebt stellenweise sogar noch leicht nach, obwohl einige Buds schon recht weit aussehen. Struktur / Genetikvergleich Gerade jetzt zum Ende wird der genetische Unterschied besonders sichtbar. Die Triangle Sherbet Kush bringt klassische Kush-Struktur: extrem kompakte, schwere Buds, dicht gestapelt und massiv angeschwollen. Die Blüten wirken fast wie gegossen. Die White Gusher 33 ist ebenfalls sehr frostig und kompakt, wirkt aber insgesamt etwas struppiger und leicht blättriger aufgebaut. Zwischen den Buds sitzt etwas mehr kleines Blattmaterial, und durch das leichte Foxtailing wirkt die Struktur lebendiger. Kurz gesagt: • Triangle Sherbet Kush: kompakte, schwere Kush-Buds • White Gusher 33: etwas sativa-lastigere Struktur mit Foxtails 🔬 Blütestatus / Trichome Bei der Triangle Sherbet Kush sind bereits einige bernsteinfarbene Trichome sichtbar. Viele Köpfe sind milchig, aber noch nicht vollständig durchgehend trüb. Eigentlich wäre sie schon fast im Erntefenster, darf oben aber ruhig noch etwas weiter Richtung Bernstein gehen, damit auch die unteren Buds sauber ausreifen. Die White Gusher 33 ist hier noch etwas zurück. Milchige Trichome nehmen zwar zu, aber Bernstein ist noch kaum vorhanden. Dazu kommt, dass sie stellenweise weiterhin Foxtails bildet – teilweise sogar an kleineren Buds, bei denen man dachte, sie wären schon fertig. Genau das macht das Timing etwas tricky. Was beide Pflanzen aber deutlich gezeigt haben: Diese Woche wurde noch einmal kräftig eingezuckert. Die Harzproduktion hat sichtbar zugelegt und der Geruch wird zunehmend stechender und intensiver. 💧 Pflege Die Nährstoffphase ist abgeschlossen. Gegossen wird jetzt nur noch mit klarem Wasser, damit die Pflanzen sauber in die Endreife laufen können. ⏳ Ausblick Jetzt beginnt das klassische Ernte-Timing-Spiel. Die Triangle Sherbet Kush wäre vom Gefühl her eigentlich schon bereit. Die White Gusher 33 braucht dagegen noch ein wenig Zeit. Darum heißt es jetzt: Geduld. Eine Ernte in etwa einer Woche ist gut möglich – es kann aber auch sein, dass die White Gusher noch etwas länger stehen bleibt. Viel fehlt auf jeden Fall nicht mehr. 🏁 Wochenfazit Kush ist bereit. Gusher braucht noch. Grow on 🌱 Rocko Flower Day 66 / Day 126 – Final Ripening – Kush ready, Gusher still cooking The Dutch Passion Double Run is now clearly entering the final ripening phase. Both plants are showing their genetic differences very clearly – especially when it comes to ripening speed. While the Triangle Sherbet Kush already looks very close to harvest, the White Gusher 33 still wants a little more time. 🌡️ Climate The climate this week became a bit cooler and more humid again. You notice that immediately in the tent: humidity rises faster and the VPD drops slightly. Without an AC it’s not always easy to balance perfectly, but at this late stage it shouldn’t affect the plants too much anymore. 🌿 Plant Status Both plants are clearly in the final stretch, but moving at different speeds. The Triangle Sherbet Kush now looks almost fully matured. The buds are massively swollen, dense and heavy. There isn’t much growth happening anymore – it seems to focus mainly on ripening and resin production. The leaf posture also says a lot: many fan leaves sit in the typical canoe position and hardly move anymore. The plant clearly signals that it’s almost finished. The White Gusher 33, on the other hand, still needs a bit more time. She looks slightly more active overall and in some places she even keeps pushing a little more, although some buds already look quite advanced. Structure / Genetic Expression At this stage the genetic differences become especially visible. The Triangle Sherbet Kush shows classic Kush structure: extremely compact, heavy buds stacked tightly and swollen to the maximum. The White Gusher 33 is also very frosty and compact, but overall appears a bit rougher and slightly leafier. There are more small sugar leaves between the buds, and the light foxtailing gives the flowers a more lively structure. In short: • Triangle Sherbet Kush: dense, heavy Kush buds • White Gusher 33: slightly more sativa-leaning structure with foxtails 🔬 Flower Status / Trichomes The Triangle Sherbet Kush already shows some amber trichomes. Many heads are milky, though not completely cloudy yet. She’s basically already inside the harvest window, but it wouldn’t hurt if the top buds develop a little more amber so the lower buds can fully mature as well. The White Gusher 33 is still slightly behind. Milky trichomes are increasing, but amber is still rare. She is also still producing some foxtails, even on smaller buds where you would think development was already finished. One thing that became very obvious this week though: Both plants got noticeably more frosty. Resin production clearly increased and the smell is getting sharper and more intense. 💧 Care The nutrient phase is finished. From now on the plants are only getting plain water as they move into the final ripening stage. ⏳ Outlook Now it becomes the classic harvest timing game. The Triangle Sherbet Kush feels almost ready already. The White Gusher 33, however, still needs a bit more time. So for now it’s simply about waiting a little longer. Harvest in about one week seems possible – but it could also be that the White Gusher stands a bit longer. The finish line is very close now. 🏁 Weekly Summary Kush is ready. Gusher still needs time. Grow on 🌱 Rocko

------------------------ HARVEST 1: ------------------------ Harvested this girl because she stopped eating and was drinking less water, and the weird flowers, so she was finishing, and im looking for something psycoactive, so the trichs are cloudy too... I expected less flowers, but there are some material behind leaves. The smoke is really nice flavored, and it hits you with psychoactivity. Despite the production and weird buds it is really tasty and gets you in a really nice sativa mood. The flavor would be like: An apple with Gasoline touches (i suppose its because of the Sour Diesel heritage) 15 gr. ------------------------ HARVEST 2: ------------------------ This plant was harvested in the optimal point to me, with cloudy trichs and a nice production. She really added weigth in the last weeks. The smell is really like the original Lemon, has deep citrous notes. Taste is very good, more powerful than the smell(Will complete this in a couple months when properly cured in jars). I like the psychoactivity, its a nice day smoke, and a tasty one. Overall a very good plant, i love the therpene profile (citrous/fruity), it is so refreshing when you smell the citrous flavour. 90 gr.

The ladies are doing great. A week or two more and then I am switching to 12/12. I topped the heck out of these girls, so just going to let them recover before the switch. As always thank you for your support. 😀
