Both plants are thriving. The mimosa still growing fast despite the fact it was burned by the light. The bourbon berry is trying to keep up with the mimosa plant.

Day 47, she's a little late in flowering game but that could mean good things lol idk Funny she I said ahead of all the other plants :) 1 gal is purple but so small, DONT USE ANYTHING LESS THAN A 2 gal for autos! Seriously, lol even I feel you want to experiment; use a photo not an auto lol learn from me :) (though I love my baby plants lol) Okay she isn't getting into the 3rd week soon of flowering and Shen has now turned purple haha was getting worried. But she did veg for 5 weeks, and she's wasn't topped or FIM so just took a while lol Christmas video is up and I couldn't be happier with the results; I've been dreaming of winning a contest like this forever and i finally have the chance :)

This started out as a pain in the ass to grow because I was expecting a light promised to me by a company I wont name that was never followed thru with and I ended up having to pay out of pocket for it. Luckily I was able to move one of my other fixtures from my other tent for bloom so they could finish up strong. This strain has potential to be great like this plant but also has the potential to end up like my first attempt at it so I gave it 9/10 stars. If every one came out like this one it would be a 11/10. Great daytime smoke, finished up relatively quickly considering its size. Only negatives were the smell isnt as strong as I thought it would be based off the end of flower but in the grand scheme of things is not a big deal it still smells it's just subtle. I cant help but wonder if it would have been even bigger and better if I had enough light to give it the first 6 weeks. The autopots were run from around week 4 to 7 until I disconnected and started hand feeding so I could use thicker nutes with the organics like the pbp and nirvana. 11021

End of third week of flowering, all good :) besides small problems with SSH - little deficiencies of calcium. Also, again... I noticed some of mosaic virus on Power Plant They smell already a lot :) Lamp on 100% power, 35cm from closest bud, in the center 1300 - 1500 PPFD and on the sides around 1100 - 1300 PPFD - POWER!

Day 63 What a turn around! Got my watering issues manageable. Last watering for Candace I added Mykos and Azos to my water. Switched from SimPro to Terp Tea. #GIRTH # FROST #AROMA Sheryl got that same recipe tonight. Candace didn't need water, but I splashed about 8oz in her dish for the bottom roots. Take Away? It's a weed so it's resilient. Have patience, don't panic, let the plants tell you what they need. Came back from out of town and the girls were looking famished. I put 1Tbl of Terp Tea Bloom in a gallon of rain water with Mykos, Azos, and Fish Sh!t. Fed both plants half gallon each.

Another demanding week for these ladies but they have reached a milestone. Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

👻👻👻 Reminder : 👻👻👻 So, I created the diary the 15th of september, I wrotte every previous informations on paper then on a word sheet. I reallized that I got everything to create a diary here, so I did it. I should maybe try to end this first grow without buying any fertilizer and keep going with my home made receips (taken from several sources and reading). I think I will do some fun experiments on a following diary. It is well known, dwarves don't run fast, so next batch will be 3 quick one from royal queen seeds, with smart pot and coco ideas i had. It will be fun an probably in 3-4 weeks (I plane to harvest my dwarves a little bit later around week 11, but I don't know, I have to check trichomes, they will give me the answer.)🙌💩So from week (8) we are in *LIVE* mode for this diary. Hello elves (you are the elves, you reading me). Smiles are allowed (this is unfair you smoke your plants so you have a strong adventage) while reading. Orcs are the pests and desease attacking the dwarves (the 3 plants)👻👻👻 👉 I've cut every branches, it was an amazing experience : My dwarves killed the orcs, they survived and escape from this AMAZING journey. They where really impossible to kill. They suffered from : Overwatering, over defoliation, nutrients burn, probably root rot, to much heat (more than 30 degree for some days), a too small pot... And they smell like : 😅😇😇😇 a wounderfull smell. I did all the "noob" mistakes basically but I learned so much. I started to feed them with home made nutrients and ended to use biobizz really at the end. I don't know what was the best for those dwarves but they made it. I will update this diary with a video and will give in 1-2 weeks the weight dry, I am really curious about it, I left really no branches, they are like ready to be in a jar. So: 👉 The famous 3/3 with amazing colors gave me : 38 gr. wet 👉 The famous 2/3 gave me : 34 gr. wet 👉 The famous 1/3 gave me : 30-31 gr. wet The harvest seems not amazing, I don't know how much weight I may loose by drying (I kept really only the heads). For a first grow, I am happy, because I simply made it. I know that it is now a growing experience, like those wounderfull amazing plants. And I learned a lot. Allready excited to launch a second harvest. A matter of time actually. It was fast, joyfull, stressfull, great to do it. Approaching the finish line. Fertilizer is now at its final dose. Both plants stopped growing now and started to build thick buds. Ken in fact is way ahead in terms of buds but it might be because he Hase a little bit less in number. It’s possible that I trained Ryu too much for his pot size 😆😆. But let’s see. Both looking very good and a lot more powerful than in my first grow. Water intake is still massive. The top soil is rock solid while draining water super fast which must mean the pots are filled with massive roots. The erected teeth came down a bit but they were never that severe in the first place so I’m still not worried about that. I skipped one day of watering to account for possible slight overfeeding but I mean, today’s watering then was with the increased dose of fert 😆😆. I know I’m pushing it a little bit but that’s deliberate. I have high demands both in mass and quality so my approach is riding the edge as good as possible from the beginning 😆

Hey growers, welcome back! This week marks week fourteen of the Pineapple Upside Down grow, and things are looking really good inside the tent. It’s been a smooth, steady week — no drama, no surprises, just solid, consistent growth. The plant has fully bounced back from the previous weeks and is showing great vitality. The new apexes have stretched out beautifully, filling the canopy in a balanced way. Every leaf looks healthy, rich in color, and there’s not a single sign of deficiency or stress. Environmental conditions have stayed right on target — temperature and humidity are stable, keeping the VPD in the sweet spot. The setup’s running quietly and efficiently, and it feels like the system has found its perfect rhythm. It’s been one of those weeks where you don’t really have to do much — just keep an eye on the parameters, enjoy how she’s developing, and let nature do the work. Watching her push out new growth every day is honestly the best part of the process. So yeah, a calm and satisfying week overall. The Pineapple Upside Down is thriving, and we’re right on track for the next stage. That’s it for this week’s update, growers. 2/4/24 - Day 90 - Hello and happy water change day! For sure on the back half of the grow. She's getting bigger everyday! The buds as growing and getting more dense. 2/6/24 - Day 92 - GTFOut of here. She's not showing any signs of distress yet, she's still hulking! Those apples are getting bigger by the day! 2/9/24 - Day 95 - Hello all! Everything is going so good. The buds are getting bigger and the smell is honestly CRAZY. The box does a great job of keeping the smell low. But as soon as you open the box get ready. The whole block is smelling this for sure. I posted a video of me swapping out the D nutrient. It's such an easy process it takes more time to unbox the nutrients than it takes to install them. It's about 5 maybe 5.5 seconds to install. Watch the video to see the process! 2/10/24 - Day 96 - The trichomes are starting to get much more cloudy. Still not a lot of amber. She still is not showing any signs of going dead. Her leafs still look really green/purple.

Everything was good they recovered well from training. Cranked the power up to 60 percent and raised the light.

So far, everything is developing well. The Bruce Banner has been lollipopped, perhaps a little too much, but let's wait and see. I trained the S.A.D. #4 with plant clips, as three shoots became too dominant. This worked very well so far and the other shoots caught up well. I also noticed that the Bruce Banner was getting slightly yellow leaves. I don't know the exact reason, but it may have been due to the low CalMag dosage in the previous weeks. I also noticed an infestation of fungus gnats, nothing serious, but today I watered with nematodes and this problem should have disappeared.
