New week starts __________ 🌞26.04 It's a first day of pre-flowering period today. I've changed schedule to 12/12hrs and turned on third 100w lamp. (This is not entirely correct, because I'm using one and a half 200W lamp. There was no room for two of them and I was forced to cut one of them in a half) My babies started to grow dramatically fast after flushing two days ago and i decided to do one more particial defoliation procedure. Now a yong branches they grew has more light and space wich should help them to produce more flowers. Spraiyed all four with 'Sea Weed' and prepared to feel a strong smell after a few days (if You know what I mean 😉). I'll flush them with 'FloraKleen' solution tomorrow to outwash saults, then start to feed them in a 'Pre-flowering' mode. 🌞27.04 Nothing today except 'SeaWeed' spraying. I decided to not flush my plants today, because the soil is still too wet. I'll do this procedure tomorrow in the morning (when the lights will turns on). Girls are growing dramatically fast now, especially 'Hulk Berry' wich was the smallest. It dobled its volume in one night! 🌞28.04 I flushed my plants with 45 litres of 'GHE FloraKleen' solution in 3ml/l retio. It was a success! Drenage EC fall from 1.9 to 0.9 (from 1850ppm to 800). Now I'll wait four or five days before watering to soil dry. Also, I spraiyed them with 'GHE Sea Weed' as usual. 'RG'#1 leaves already toching my box wall, but I am afraid to defoliate it once more to pervent male flowers developing because of a big stress on pre-flowering period. 🌞29.04 All four plants are growing faster then ever after "GHE FloraKleen" flushing. Their leaves became 1.5 times wider in one night! Even 'HB' miniature leaves are spredding out in size. I spraiyed them with 'G.H. Protect' today. 🌞30.04 My plants crones are too thyck. They're asking for one more defoliation, literally. I'm still afreid to do this. Maybe I will do this a few days laiter when I'll water them. Till then I'm only bending big leaves under the top of a branches. 'G.H.Protect' spraing and that's all for today. 🌞01.05 Nothing for today. Even no spraying. My grow box is in the 'stealth' mode (hidden in the wardrobe-looking shell) so there will be no photo today. It's too difficult to open it, ecpesially there is no sense to do this just to take a picture. I'll water my plants tomorrow, so there will be an update. 🌞02.05 No watering today, the soil still too wet. I made one more defoliation instead. Almost half of a crones were cutted (big old leaves and some lowest branches). I think it's a good thing, because there were alot of new branches and no light reaching them. Now light goes toll the very bottom of my plants, forcing small yong leaves to grow quicker. ___________ Week ends.

Finally switched her into flower and introduced the transition gently with Bud Ignitor. She responded perfectly so far. Growth is super dense and bushy, with a thick and even structure all across the canopy. The LST really paid off—tons of healthy tops pushing upward at the same height, creating a nice sea of future bud sites. She’s still extremely thirsty and drinking heavily every day. Gave her one feeding mainly focused on the roots without any additives—just the base Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow & Bloom—and she handled it like a champ. Really excited to see how she stretches over the next days.

The plants are large enough for low stress training I also decided to add advanced nutrients three-component fertilizer ph perfect As you can see in the main photo, the lower branches are small and underdeveloped due to the lack of light in the greenhouse I therefore decided to bend the plant more than is healthy in order to achieve greater development from the lower branches I noticed that some plants are small and undeveloped, and I saw holes and moles It was clear that something was eating the roots of the plant from below While working on low stress training, a mole ran out of the hole and started burrowing to another plant I really like animals, but I had to quickly decide what to do with the mole I pinned him to the ground with my foot and stuck a stick behind his head :( that I have as a support for low stress training I'm very sorry for the mole, I've never killed such a big animal... May mother earth forgive me... The next day I saw a vole crawling into a hole near a plant, so I decided to buy a mouse trap I put a carrot in the trap and the hunt was successful I am the alpha predator in my garden... At the same time, while digging holes, I saved about 20 caterpillars that fell down and could not climb out It turned out that caterpillars are a very rare butterfly that almost never occurs I really like butterflies, when I take a picture of them on my plants I attach a photo from last season

Day 22. Heavy training in time lapse of two days will happen. Some girls are shooting 6th node and its time for heavy training, but ... pots are heavy and i have to wait till plants will be more flimsy, not so crunchy and fragile , need 20-30 hours till i get there. Will update after most work is done. Still no feed. Day 23. 6 girls got topped, decided to go lazy way and just simply bend them a bit, tuck them, top them a bit and bush out by week 8 for nice flowers. Tomorrow last pure water, next watering , think last day of week, will be BioBizz week 3 schedule , but i will use Root Juice a bit longer than advised, i just don't start so early most of the time. Runtz are very strong, Asias has fattest leaves and even Dreams starts to look funky. Day 24. Daft Punks aaaaaaaaa, what have you done ?????? So f@cking SAD !!!!! On other side girls fly, can't add anything else, today last pure water, first feed in 3-4 days !!! Day 26. Size of some leaves amazing, whenever you tuck them - they return and cast shadows ... All air is on, now still need to dry washing inside to keep RH in high 70s .. Tomorrow heavy training !!! Day 27. Heavy training, last pure water. All four smallest plants got theirs toping too. Couple leaves here and there, but mostly tucking and exposing for all plants and that's all training for now . Next week feed and maybe light defoliation. Happy Growing !!!

Continua a crescere.. Sbalordito.

Week from 10/07 to 16/07 Going smoothly, plant already feeling great in the new pot. I used sticks to make a star cross frame at the base so I can pull branches in every direction Now it’s a matter of letting everything grow and adjust the branches until around the 20th of August when it will start flowering

Animal Mints — Legends of the Frozen North Week 8 from Seed | Week 4 Flower Another chapter unfolds in the frozen north. For anyone joining this diary now, here is a quick recap of how we arrived here. This run explores Animal Mints grown primarily under a 12/12 cycle from seed, allowing the plants to naturally express their structure while moving efficiently into flowering. Most of the plants followed this path from the beginning, with one small exception in the room — a plant that spent about two weeks in vegetative light before joining the 12/12 cycle. Interestingly, that plant ended up being the smallest of the group, showing how genetics and environmental response can sometimes surprise us. But despite those differences, the room now feels unified. The canopy is alive, vibrant, and moving together into the deeper stages of flowering. This week has been a big one. With more than 300 photos captured, the goal was to document every angle of development — structure, branching, flower sites, and canopy behavior — as the plants continue their journey through bloom. ⸻ Environmental Snapshot The room is currently running with fairly aggressive parameters, but supported by strong airflow and active air exchange. Current conditions • Canopy temperature: ~28°C (gradually tapering toward 26°C) • Relative humidity: ~70% (slowly reducing toward ~60%) • CO₂: 1000+ ppm through passive enrichment • PPFD: 800 → 1300 µmol across the canopy These values are slightly on the upper edge of traditional recommendations, but with strong airflow and healthy transpiration, the plants are responding very well. Air movement remains one of the most important elements in this environment. The goal over the next weeks will be to gradually tighten the climate window as flowers develop further. ⸻ Light Strategy The lighting across the canopy currently ranges between: 800 and 1300 PPFD This allows the plants to maintain strong metabolic activity without excessive stress during early flower development. Additionally, we run a 15-minute red light pulse after lights off. This small far-red window helps accelerate the phytochrome transition between light cycles, effectively signaling nightfall to the plants and assisting the flowering rhythm. It is a subtle adjustment, but one that helps maintain consistent flowering signals. ⸻ Under-Canopy Lighting One of the key elements of this room is the use of under-canopy lighting. As plants grow bushier and develop dense foliage, the lower zones of the plant often receive very little light. Under-canopy lighting helps: • increase light penetration to lower bud sites • reduce excessive shading • maintain photosynthetic activity deeper into the plant • improve overall bud development throughout the structure Combined with careful defoliation and strong airflow, this approach helps keep the entire plant active rather than only the top canopy. ⸻ Airflow — The Invisible Engine Airflow is one of the most underestimated tools in indoor cultivation. In this room we rely heavily on constant air circulation and active air exchange. This helps: • regulate leaf temperature • support transpiration • prevent humidity pockets inside the canopy • strengthen plant structure • reduce risk of fungal pressure Plants are living organisms interacting with their environment, and air movement is part of that conversation. ⸻ Feeding Strategy The plants are currently feeding very actively. Feed EC: ~2.4 Soil EC: ~0.9 This indicates that the plants are absorbing nutrients efficiently from the medium. As long as the plants continue eating and the runoff remains stable, the feeding program stays consistent. If nutrient uptake slows or runoff EC begins climbing, adjustments will be made accordingly. For now, the system remains balanced and responsive. ⸻ Nutrient Recipe Current weekly top feed includes: • CalMag Pro • Terra Bloom (base nutrient) • Power Buds • Green Sensation • Pure Zym • Sugar Royal • Vita Race (foliar where applicable) At this stage of flowering, foliar applications are used sparingly. Once flowers begin forming, keeping the canopy dry becomes increasingly important. ⸻ Why Add Power Buds + Green Sensation As plants transition fully into the flowering stage, the goal shifts from structural growth toward flower formation and metabolic support. Power Buds helps stimulate the plant’s flowering response and encourages the development of early bud sites. Green Sensation acts as a metabolic enhancer, supporting: • bud density • terpene production • nutrient transport • overall plant energy during bloom Together, these additives help guide the plant’s resources toward productive flower development. ⸻ Mixing Order — Why It Matters One of the small details that can make a big difference in nutrient stability is the order of mixing. Our mixing process always follows the same structure: 1. CalMag Pro first 2. Base nutrient (Terra Bloom) 3. Additives CalMag is added first until the base EC reaches around 0.7. This creates a stable mineral foundation for the rest of the solution. After that the base nutrient and additives are introduced gradually. Proper mixing order helps prevent nutrient precipitation and instability, keeping the solution balanced and available for the plants. In simple terms: Chemistry matters. ⸻ Defoliation Update This week also included selective defoliation. Some plants had not yet received any canopy thinning, and their structure had become quite dense. Those plants were defoliated more deeply than the others to restore: • airflow inside the canopy • light penetration • structural balance Despite the heavier pruning, the plants responded beautifully. Leaves remain vibrant, growth continues strong, and the canopy quickly reorganizes itself. ⸻ Structural Observations Across the room, the Animal Mints plants show distinct structural expressions. Some lean toward tighter node spacing and compact branching, while others stretch slightly more. These differences highlight the diversity within the genetic expression of the cultivar. Yet despite those differences, all plants are developing healthy flower sites and strong green foliage. ⸻ What To Expect Next Over the next weeks we expect: • vertical stretch slowing down • bud stacking intensifying • resin development beginning • stronger aroma expression Environmental parameters will gradually shift toward slightly cooler temperatures and lower humidity as flowers continue forming. The focus will remain on airflow, canopy balance, and metabolic stability. ⸻ Gratitude Before closing this update, a moment of appreciation. To the long-time followers, the OG readers, the new growers discovering this diary, the skeptics, the critics, the silent observers, and everyone who spends time following these plants. Thank you. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. Update from last week that I forgot: I gave her a final feed at 75%... WEEK 25 DAY 1 ... omg... 😂😂😂 It really took me half a year to finish this one... unbelievable... 😅 Well, so far I'm still super happy. Everything seems to go just fine but I'll never do this again..haha.. (vegging under a 50W bulb xD)... Soooo... looking at the trichs, I think the harvest window has just opened. There's still a lot of clear but the cloudy ones are starting to come and there's already a little amber on the leaves. I suppose I'm really close to harvest now. I'll be flushing her next time for sure. First, I'll feed her a low nutrient solution, maybe around 25% and half of the usual water quantity because I'm not that sure about when she really finishes so she dries out more quickly. Next, I'll use Grotek Final Flush right before I'll chop her down. I don't want to use this right away because last time my plants were dying a bit too fast so.. not to be repeated ;) Getting impatient now. Hopefully it will be a White Christmas...haha! DAY 2 Gave her one last feed at 25%. Poured only half of the usual water quantity. Left the BloomComplex totally aside because she seems like she's doing a little 'clawing'. Maybe there's too much Nitrogene? Trichs are beginning to get cloudy, with a little amber in between. I'll flush her with plain ph'd water tomorrow probably or should I wait some more days? What do you think? I'm never sure when the time is right... :/ DAY 3 I just took some more pictures with a macro lens attached to my iPhone. Seems like the buds in the middle do have way more amber than the other ones around which have swollen more compared to the ones in the middle but have less amber. The last days, I didn't check the ones in the middle so I changed my mind. I just flushed her with Grotek Final Flush. I'll wait for some hours for the solution to break down the salts and then I'll flush again to get rid of the flushing solution. I'm also gonna switch the timetable to 8/16. (16 hours of dark) and I'll drop the temperatures some 2 more degrees.
