Day 94, 5th of November 2020: Nice strain no really strong smell haha good to grow more safely :) This situation is crazy never happneed to me. It is only the 5th week of flowering and she looks ready to be harvested.... WTF.... I immediately stop fertilization.... I checked the trichomes and it is interesting. I see ambers and I see milky ones but also translucent ones.... I have an idea what happened. She had gotten aot of darkness I mean she did not get always the standard 12/12 she qas once 3 days in darkness before owering that's ok.... After I left her one day in darkness once.... And what I think is when I went on holiday my friend looked after her so she was with different strains and needed to remove out of the tent manually so he went to work early and back late so she spent 14 hours darkness but stilll.... I have no idea ;)

They are growing nicely, i forgot to upload for some time and now they are finally fully flowering, i pretty much fertilze them with everything.

Fed compost tea with added Bio PK today. Plain water all following feedings. Did a heavy defoliation session to let as much light penetrate the lower canopy as possible to help with bud ripening. Very happy with how she is filling out, looks like her buds are going to be really nicely sized.

The Journey Begins! The wait is finally over! I’m diving into a brand-new project that I’m really hyped to share with you all. This run is a special collaboration between Canna Community Germany and Original Sensible Seeds. I feel honored to have been asked to join this project as a tester. A huge thank you to the crew at Canna Community Germany for initiating this and bringing me on board. I also want to give a massive shoutout to Original Sensible Seeds for providing the genetics—I’m especially grateful that they let me hand-pick these specific strains from their impressive assortment! For this run, I’ve chosen Black Orchid Auto and Purple Haze Auto. In this diary, I’ll be focusing on the Black Orchid Auto. The Germination Phase: To get things moving, I started with a 24-hour soak in water, followed by the wet cotton pad method until those taproots were looking strong. Once they popped, they went straight into 0.5L pots inside my small breeder box. The Setup & Natural Security: They are currently getting settled under a 20W lamp with high humidity to give them the best possible start. To keep the environment safe, I’ve got a carnivorous plant stationed inside the breeder—it’s my natural "security guard" to ensure no fungus gnats mess with my seedlings! Waiting for them to fatten up now. Not much longer. Added some sidelights to help with the lowers because she's so dense. Super frosty, just like the one I did outdoor.

So one thing about this strain that was kind of a bummer was the smells were literally all over the place in a great way. Sour gummies worms from the keef, diesle/gas from the leaves, and lemon hard candy/carrots/dab carts from the buds but when smoked it, the floral taste was so rounded that the other smells never came thru except the purple one that had tight smaller buds, had a lemony taste still. (Remember had to cut early from braking). On the other hand, the way this plant grew had me in a state of personal amazement. I was actully super excited telling my friends that it got TOO BIG for the branches. Buds stacked perfectly on every plant. The topping and recover time went smooth. She shaped nicely right before flower. And back to my negative statement that I had..... the smells were INCREDIBLE!!! I recommend it to everyone soly for the smells.

🌱 Day 8 — Veg Nutrient strength kept light (≈180 ppm) for root development. Water level just below net pots; bubbles lightly mist the bottoms. Reservoir and pH stable throughout the week. No visible roots yet. Will transfer the 4 best plants into the alien aero system when: Roots are long, white, and branching — at least 4–6 inches hanging freely into the SuperPonics reservoir. Root tips are firm and bright (not soft or brown). The plants have at least 3–4 sets of true leaves and are starting to accelerate growth. 🌱 Day 10 — Veg Roots have finally reached the water. Will look to transplant in the next 5 days or so.

I must say, the girls are doing a little beter than expected. Although the chem candy lags behind, it is producing more pistils than I thought it would. And looks like it is going to yield a little more than expected. Same for the blue dream in the back. She's making nice long cola's which will hopefully fill the whole branch in a couple of weeks. The lemon cherry cookies is fattening up and starting to go to the end phase. I will therefore stop feeding this plant nutriënts for it's last 2 weeks of life so all the built up nutriënt can be flushed out to produce a nice and clean smoke. Don't get me wrong, they are no monsters and it looked kinda bad for a while there. But overall I am quite happy with these autoflower in the end.

the end of my first crop is approaching, I am getting impatient the work has become easier: water and watch for fungi or pests. the cold snap in europe makes it easier for me to manage the temperature and humidity. :)

They looking good, but temp is a little too high. It is what it is One of the plants (In front to the left) is more frosty, with less amber pistils. But overall the trichomes are starting to go from crystal to cloudy. Another good week! I fed them once on Monday. A final shot to boost them for finishing up. I am pretty certain they will finish within 2 weeks.I also watered them on Thursday and today (Sunday). I defoliated both plants earlier this week as well. For one, I needed to open the canopy up to help keep the humidity down but, there were a lot of leaves yellowing and turning brown. I was not feeding them correctly... in the sense that I wasn't watering enough in between feeds. There were excess nutrients built up in the soil and I believe that led to the nutrient burn. Also, this was my first and only feed without the Grow Big due to flushing for week 9. I followed the Fox Farm feed schedule... but, I think I needed to understand my plants better! I also believe I stunted these girls! One is about 24" tall and the other is 21" tall. Both on the very low end of the growth chart. Overall, I am very happy!! So much to experience and learn in such a short window of time! I've thoroughly enjoyed this grow! I look forward to the harvest and experiencing all that is to come! One last thing... Anyone use GrowBuddy and any word on what is going on with the current download? I've followed the drama around taking so long and all that (the new hardware soon to be for sale for 2.0)... but, the website now says the software is available for free and working on Macs and Windows.... So, I downloaded it last night and I cannot activate an account. Everything has a greyed over kind of look... So, I assume they took some part of their servers offline... Anyone know if this is accurate and has anyone else activated a new account recently? Thanks for any insight!! Peace!
