Excellent Kickstart to Week 2 of flowering. Minimal leaf strip done and few stakes added to the plants what need it. Lights just over 75% Fans turned up to 65% as humidity was rising above 70% I like to have it sitting around 50-55% in flowering, less chance of powdery mildew defo helped with the minimal leaf strip 👍🏻👌🏼

Another successful week plants aren't dead. Did some more defoliation this week to allow light to penetrate the smaller colas at the bottom of the canopy, still haven't found a feeding schedule that works for me, going to cut my feedings in half next week because I'm starting to see some minor nute burn on the leaf tips. Good week though I'm pleased with it onto week 10/week 5 of flower!

This grow turned out to be quite a journey. Originally, this run was meant to be a simple between-grow project, something to keep the season going outdoors, without too much effort. But plans changed, and the Orange Sherbet ended up in the tent, where it took a completely different direction than expected. She grew big and strong early on, but the LST was tricky. she didn’t respond very well at first, and shaping her the way I wanted took a lot of time and patience. It was interesting to see how she stretched and filled out later, but overall, the structure stayed somewhat awkward to manage. Throughout the grow I struggled with CalMag and potassium balance. I tried several adjustments, sometimes with high CalMag doses, but it never fully stabilized. It’s still unclear if that came from the strain itself or from the BioBizz line, but it made the mid-to-late phase more difficult than I had hoped. The flowering time was also much longer than advertised. the breeder mentions around 9 weeks, but in reality this one took closer to 14–15 weeks total. What was supposed to be a quick side project turned into a long, demanding run. On the bright side, she delivered a very solid yield. a bit over 160 g of trimmed buds plus another 50 g of popcorn, well above 1 g/W. The aroma is lovely after 10 days of curing: creamy, with vanilla and a subtle orange note returning. However, the buds are airy, not as dense as I hoped. The effect and flavor are great, but visually it’s more on the average side. Even so, this grow was one of the most instructive I’ve done. I learned a lot about deficiency management, humidity control, watering and how far genetics and environment interact. Going forward, I’ll take a break from autos and focus on photoperiod strains again. I just prefer the control and predictability they offer. All in all: not my prettiest grow, but a very valuable one. About drying in dry ferm/dry age and regular drying: the material in the bags took a few days longer to dry which is said to be good (regular dry was 7 days, bags was 9 or 10). initially I think the buds from bags look better but now in curing I can't really tell a difference, not visually and not in the nose. Let's see how everything evolves over time but honestly I am not expecting it to differ a lot from regular drying.

Buds smell already beautiful and the bud structure is nice🙂👍. The flowers were dried for 9 days. I tell the weight later when i get batteries for the scale. Now weighed. Total was 221 grams. I gave some grams to my friends and i have smoked some too before the scale.

Welcome Back!💚 Nach der sechsten Woche des Wachstums entwickelt sich die Snapple Apple weiterhin nur spärlich Scheint so, als hätte sie das topping nicht so gut vertragen / eine mögliche Überwasserung wäre inzwischen auch relativiert. Allmählich ist eine reguläre Triebform erkennbar, dennoch bilden sich die Triebe sehr langsam und eng anliegend aus. Daher habe ich ein paar Beugungselemente an die Seitentriebe angebracht. Es ist nach dieser Woche Zeit für gute ebenfalls in die Blüte überzuleiten, den an Wachstum erwarte ich nicht mehr viel. Mal schauen, was dann passiert🙈 Ich bin gespannt, wie sich die Pflanze entwickelt. 3/03/2021 - Seeds arrived - I let one seed soak in distilled water for 12 hours. Room temperature. The other seed will go straight into a moist paper towel tomorrow. 3/04/2021 - After 12 hours of soaking I moved the seed to a moist paper towel and put in a ziploc bag. I also started another Seedsman Blueberry seed (didn’t soak it as an experiment). I put the ziploc bags in a warm dark spot. I will check it in 24 hours. 3/5/2021 - The seed I let soak for 12 hours has started to root. I’m going to let the tap root get a little bigger before I transfer it to a rock wool cube. I will check the seeds in 6 hours. Well 6 hours later the non soaked seed broke open and exposed a small tap root. Tomorrow they should be ready for rock wool cubes. 3/6/2021 - Moved the seeds to rock wool cubes. We observed that the seed that did not soak, rather just placed into moist paper towels, had the first sprout. We made sure to put root down first with spout over the top of the rock wool. 3/7/2021 - Both seeds have sprouted and are in the humidity dome. They will continue to grow until I see roots. 3/8/2021 - The sprouts look great! We will let them grow until roots appear from the bottom of the cubes. The 3rd cube in the dome is another Seedsman Blueberry we will be growing as a mother plant for clones. 3/9/2021 - Not really much to report. They seem to have stopped stretching and are taking shape nicely. I will continue to keep them in the humidity dome until they root out of the bottom. 3/10/2021 - Today all 3 seedlings had roots showing in the rock wool. I transplanted each one into solo cups filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog. I noticed the cubes were soaked and over watered. The soil will dry it out and I will start feeding them Fox Farm Big Bloom.

Week 6 for Fuel D.OG by seedsman Shes still very happy in her 5L pot, Shes been getting fed every 2/3 days with some FPJ, Regulator, Enzym+ & Startboooster by @aptus_portugal just to give it an extra boost😇 I've topped her a few times now she reacts so well to being topped. She's at 14 tops ATM😍 Waiting for the lowest branch to catch up in height before i do any topping to it. Shes also ready to be transplanted into a 25L pot but unfortunately none available atm... have to wait for the autos outside to be done. She's in my top 5 for this season for sure. Cant put my finger on what she smells like exactly but there's definitely some funk to her stem rub😁

This week I decided it was time to employ some LST. Really I should have just done LST and not topped them, aside from the largest one which responded well. They weren't putting out fast enough growth to take to topping well, and I've learned my lesson. That's why my autos haven't done so well in the past. I'm still learning😬 So in order to get as much as I can out of them as we enter flowering, we're doing a little LST this week. Earlier in the week I did have to bring them in the hoop house on 7/11 because we got a lot of rain that day, our basement flooded and the water got so high in the stream that it washed the bridge out. So I think I made the right decision otherwise they may have gotten lockout. I also changed their feed a bit. I added in some Neptunes Harvest Fish Fertilzer 2-4-1 with the Alaska 5-1-1 in equal portions on the 13th and will continue with it tonight. I may add a little molasses as well. Most of what I was trying to accomplish with each plant is explained in the video. Enjoy!

Man, that plant is really taking off. It's finally starting to look just like the good old Gas House Parent. I can almost smell it already. Can't wait to see how much bigger it gets! Tried to spread the branches out to give each bud site adequate light. Defoliated a couple fan leaves I hope that it don’t cause too much stress based off the mixed opinions I have been reading about autos. All in all she’s growing everyday with no major problems. Noticed she started to get tired two hours before lights out so now she get 16 hours of light. Let me know what you think im open to opinions until Next time peace ✌️
