The growing cycle it self worked out as expected, except that the pH-level was way off from where it should be, and I found out a bit too late. Because of this the outcome of the harvest didn't say much about the potential of this strain, but as soon as I got enough time and space, she will get a new chance to shine. 2018-03-01. This is my review / smoke report of this lovely cbd flower. There are rock hard buds and almost no give at all, even in those smaller buds. When you grind it the scent will appear more than just smelling on the buds. It smells a little weak of grass, wood, bark, sweet, lemon, honey, skunk and some kind of spice. The taste is orange, mandarin, honey, bark, popcorn and pepper. The effect is directly, the thc feeling above the eyes and in the forehead, it fells like its a higher thc levels in this strain compered to the cbd strains i tried before. A little light ringing in the ears and a slight dry mouth. After 10 minutes, the cbd kicks in and and balance the thc high. The neck and shoulders begin to relax and the feeling continues down over the back and chest down to the stomach. A calming, relaxing, and slightly energetic feeling. After 15-20 minutes it is down in the legs and feet, and you can feel a vibrating feeling in your muscles, joints in a pleasant way. It reduces my tense muscles and some of the nervpain i got. Its a good strain for releasing stress and get you in a relaxed and satisfied mood. It is a very well-balanced strain and it fits in all sorts of contexts. If you take this in the morning or mid day it will give you a small energy boost and get you in the mood for doing something. I think this is a lovely strain and I highly recommend it to everyone but especially for more inexperienced people that dont like the high thc strains and want to have a good relaxant, pain controlling, anti depressant medication that also can give energy or help with getting to sleep. This is a must try strain.

Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..

May 13th - Day 86: I flipped to flower last Friday, May 10th (3 days ago on Day 83), but the plants received their first bath today. Humidity levels were brought down to a maximum of 61%, and temperatures to a maximum of 28°C (though they reach 33°C when the lights are on, and I can't seem to lower them further). I added a third cycle to the watering automation system, so the plants are now being watered three times a day for one minute each. I defoliated the plants quite heavily as I wasn't able to reach the desired humidity level. I will be gone for a week, maybe even two. Let's see how the babies grow. May 17th - Day 90: I came back today to a disaster. The automated watering system failed for four days, and the dehumidifier kept running, bringing humidity down to 35%, likely resulting in the loss of more than one plant. I'm so disappointed in myself but still keeping my hopes up. I watered everything heavily, trimmed the crispy leaves, sprayed the leaves with pH 6.5 water, and increased the humidity levels in the tent. Will update tomorrow. May 18th - Day 91: Unbelievable. Most of the plants recovered as if nothing happened. Two of them might be dead, but I still have hope. Let's see.

Build a soil kind of drys out fast to me so I started to use the barley straw to help with moisture but so far it seems good to go haven’t ph the water yet think imma start next week been using RO water and I’ve used spring deer park water couple times

Another successful harvest of this strain. However under the FC3000 light, frosty trichomes appeared like never before. I can barely wait to find out the dry weight and smoke test of this lady in 7 days.

Hello growmies! Been a great week! Shortie is back up to snuff, adding the humidity dome was a great call(my wife's idea). The taller of the two is doing great! Hi Growmies, Again another very uneventful week. The plant is doing what she is supposed to do, getting ready to bulk :) For the coming week PK 13/14 will be added so she can use that to fatten and ripen properly. So far I am quite happy with the results, she is much leaner than her mother and basically only consists of stems and buds. Strangely enough some friends of mine who took cuttings are actually tickling out a bunch of purple hues on the leaves and buds, wonder if this could be temperature related. Guess I will see once have a temp controlled fan …

The first week of progress. Got a little sprout coming out. The leaves got somewhat messed up from the shell sticking. More to come.
