I wanted to title this weeks grow "How Big Are Your Balls? (root balls that is, lol)". I've been wanting to post pictures and video of the root balls for a while now, so today's the day! The temperature has been dropping here, so the plants are getting much less heat stress. In a couple of weeks the temperature should be down into the 60's and 70's during the day and all will be good.

She seems to be overfed, showing yellowing here and there. Also other has some leaves have brown spots. I might have messed up the Ph because I did not adjust the Ph of nutrients mix. I assumed it was ph corrected. Now, I am adjusting the Ph and reducing feeding. Let’s hope that she recovers next week.

49 days!!!! The girl looks great, she is healthy and happy, although it was quite a rainy week, she ignores all this and continues to grow calmly:) It's true that I already wanted the beginning of flowering :D I used LST on the girl this week so that she wouldn't be too visible to the neighbors :) although it is legal in my country, I still try not to disturb the surrounding neighbors:) good luck to everyone;).

Weather is getting a bit better this week. Almost no rain anymore and much more sun comparing to last week. Blueberry Ghost OG and Kali AK still don't want to start flowering, but they slowed down from growing taller at least, so there are hope of they to start flowering soon (hopefully).

It's that exciting time again—time to dive into the enchanting journey of my beloved Purple Lemonade FF as she strides confidently into Week 5 of flowering. Defoliation Drama Unveiled! As the grand finale approaches, I made a daring decision to perform a defoliation dance with my purple beauty. Now, don't worry, it's not as dramatic as it sounds! Think of it like a plant makeover. I carefully removed a select few fan leaves to allow the inner sanctum of the plant to breathe. This move allows more light to reach those budding sites, ensuring that every nugget gets its chance to shine. The result? A lush canopy where each bud twinkles like a star in the night sky. Fruits of Our Labor: Bigger is Better! Oh, but the fruits of our labor! They're a sight to behold. The buds have grown into massive, magnificent marvels that stretch toward the heavens. Imagine holding a juicy lemon the size of your palm—that's the kind of awe we're talking about! Their aroma wafts through the air, teasing the senses and promising an explosion of flavors and fragrances when the time is ripe. The Symphony of Purple and Trichomes And now, let's talk about the color show happening here. It's like the Northern Lights decided to pay a visit to my grow space! Delicate shades of purple are dancing across the buds, creating a breathtaking tapestry of colors that's straight out of an artist's dream. But wait, there's more! It's practically snowing trichomes in there. These tiny, glistening structures cover the buds like a shimmering blanket, and trust me, it's a sight that warms any grower's heart. Mother Nature's Artistry in Action Nature truly is the best artist, and our Purple Lemonade FF is her masterpiece. Each leaf, each bud, each trichome is a stroke of perfection. This journey reminds me that we're not just gardeners; we're cultivators of beauty, patience, and endless wonder. A Glimpse of the Journey And as promised, here's a sneak peek of this week's snapshot from the grow room. Feast your eyes on the splendor of my purple queen standing tall amidst her sisters of diverse genetics. It's a visual symphony that fills the heart with joy and gratitude. Cherish the Journey As we approach the next chapter of this remarkable journey, I'm reminded once again that it's not just about the end result; it's about the experience, the love, and the lessons we gather along the way. So, my fellow green-thumbed adventurers, let's cherish every moment, celebrate every bud, and keep growing with passion and joy. Thanks for joining me on this magical ride. Until the next chapter unfolds, keep those hearts and plants thriving! Genetics - Fast Buds Purple Lemonade FF Ligth - Lumatek ZEUS 465 COMPACT PRO

https://lumatek-lighting.com/ <3 <3 <3 Growers love to you all <3 <3 <3 " Arising from a cross between purple and citrus Cali genetics, Purple Lemonade FF (Fastflowering) offers a complex high made up of perfectly balanced cerebral and body effects that are ideal for daytime use. Expect an extremely enjoyable high that boosts your mood while deeply relaxing your whole body and getting rid of muscle pain. This meticulous cross produces up to 550 g/m2 of some of the most beautiful purple buds, with pinkish and reddish hues that will catch everyone’s attention. The beautiful purple buds are ready for harvest in 7-8 weeks and come hand-in-hand with unbelievably sugary citrus terps that are just as refreshing as a cold lemonade on a hot Summer day. It’s the ideal variety for the sweet-tooth stoner seeking strains that deliver both in quality and quantity of resin. Bud Description Purple Lemonade FF grows chunky, spade-shaped buds that boast a whole range of pinkish-purple hues with rich, dark orange pistils shooting out of every direction. This variety stands out for the, oftentimes, lilac trichomes that give them a gorgeous pink tint and make for outstanding purple concentrates. The buds give off a delicious tart lemon aroma that reveals a sweeter, more fruity scent as you break the buds open. Definitely a must for flavor chasers and those looking for pungent terpene profiles. Smoke Reports Purple Lemonade FF offers an effect that’s just as unique as the flavor. Expect a potent uplifting high that gives you that energy boost you need to get things done while 100% happy and stress-free. The effect gradually transforms into a wave that works its way along the limbs and through the muscles, deeply relaxing your body and putting you in the right mindset to go through a busy day with a huge smile on your face. This is an excellent all-day smoke as it not only increases energy but can also help combat chronic pain, migraine and stress. Plant Appearance This feminized photoperiod variety develops a thick and strong structure, growing a medium-sized main cola with multiple shorter side branches, typical of hybrid strains. Purple Lemonade FF develops fairly short internodal spacing with gorgeous purple buds growing stacked on top of each other, making it the perfect choice for growers of all levels looking to get lots and lots of top-shelf purple weed, as this variety can produce up to 550 g/m2 in a 7-8 week flower cycle. Grow Tips This is a super fast feminized photoperiod version that takes approximately 7-8 weeks to flower with a 5-week vegetation cycle,, this means you can have faster harvests by shortening the veg cycle or have a longer veg cycle for bigger yields. Purple Lemonade FF (Fastflowering) makes for a great candidate for growers of all levels as it’s a vigorous strain that will thrive with basic maintenance both indoors and outdoors. This is a resin powerhouse so make sure to have your trim bin close by as all the resinous sugar leaves will make for the most mouth-watering hash and extracts. Flavor Expect a long-lasting citrus zest that taste just like it smells. Purple Lemonade FF reeks of a delicious blend of sweet fruits and tart citrus that’ll make your mouth water. On the inhale, expect sour flavors that taste just like lemon candy with hints of orange and a really subtle earthy background. And on the exhale, the citrus flavors open up, giving place to a more sugary berry fruitiness that leaves your whole mouth tasting like an extremely sweet weed-infused lemonade.

4/27/22 Today makes the beginning of preflower. Notice the light xoxo of her tops. Also today her first white hair popped 4/28/22 Late last night i to the early hours of today I added some.LST clups qnd took 4 large fan leaves from the lower region of the plant to allow some light in to the emerging branches. 4/29/22 Today I did her first major defoliation. I only.took leaves on the inside margin of the plant that blocked light from emerging branches. This part of ganja growing always scared me because they look so yucky after for a day or two 5/1/22 My lady looks beautiful today. Looking better after her defoliation a few days ago. She I needing about 1 gal of plain dechlorinated water every other day to keep her topped off. She is drinking some water! I'm assuming this will mean I will have to feed her more that once weekly as well. 5/2/22 I realized today that the white hair I was seeing were just the plant reaching maturity and showing her gender... she is not behaving like a plant in flower. I have decided to change my light cycle to 12:12 in order to flip her I to flower. This is because she is getting too large for her to fit in my tent if she were to continue to veg any longer. The stretch during the first two weeks of flower will likely have my 4x4 filled up.

🌿 Woche 4 – Vegetative Phase (27. Oktober – 2. 🗓️ Chronologie Woche 4 27.10. ✂️ Erstes Topping + Entlaubung Alle 6 Pflanzen getoppt (oberste Nodie entfernt). Je 1–2 untere Blätter/Triebe entfernt. Keine Stresssymptome danach. 28.10. 🌱 Erholungsphase Blätter wieder aufgerichtet, neue Spitzen sichtbar. Kein Gießen. Licht 55 % @ 60 cm Abstand. 29.10. 🌱 Grow Diary Update — Sour Diesel Week 4 | First week of flower (12/12) This week, the spotlight is on Sour Diesel, because she clearly stood out from the rest of the room — and when one plant speaks louder than the others, we listen. ⸻ 📍 Quick recap (so everyone is on the same page) • Sour Diesel just entered week 6 / first week of flower • She was running on Autopots with mineral-only feed • Organics and amendments were removed from the Autopot system • The rest of the room handled this change fine • She did not She started showing: • Droopy posture • Loss of vigor • Early deficiency-type signals • A general “I’m not comfortable” look Important detail: 👉 She was the only plant reacting like this. ⸻ 🌿 Why this happened (the key lesson) Sour Diesel is an old-school genetic, and not all strains respond the same way to abrupt system changes. In her case: • She was previously thriving with organics + minerals • Removing organics reduced: • Nutrient complexity • Biological buffering • Availability of secondary elements • This happened right at the transition into flower, when demand increases sharply On top of that, we had environmental pressure: • Outside temps: ~4°C • Outside humidity: ~98% • Room stabilized at: 21°C / 58% RH Those conditions are acceptable — but combined with: • Feed change • Flower transition • Genetic sensitivity …it was enough for her to react. ⸻ 🚿 Why we took her off Autopots Autopots are great — but they’re not universal. We removed her from the Autopot regimen because: • She needed immediate, tailored feeding • She wasn’t responding well to mineral-only delivery • Hand-feeding lets us: • Adjust EC gently • Reintroduce organics • Observe response feed by feed This wasn’t a system failure — it was a plant-specific decision. ⸻ Current feeding strategy (now) • Medium: hand-fed (off Autopots) • EC: 1.43 • pH: 5.9 • Full recipe: organics + minerals • Added: CalMag Pro Why CalMag Pro? • We’re using rainwater + humidifier water, which is very soft • Low calcium & magnesium availability can show fast in flower • This is both: • A corrective move for her • A preventive move for the whole room Meanwhile, the rest of the Autopot system is running: • 2.29 EC • pH 6.0 • Mineral-only • Other plants are stable and happy ⸻ 🌬️ Environment (current) • Lights: stable • Airflow: good • Temp: ~21°C • RH: ~58% Nothing extreme — but this shows how context + timing + genetics matter more than numbers alone. ⸻ 🔮 What we expect (and what we don’t) What we expect: • Gradual recovery, not overnight • Leaf posture improving first • New growth responding before old leaves • Stability over speed What we don’t expect: • Instant “fix” • Old damage to reverse • Her to behave exactly like the rest of the room From now on, she’ll simply need a bit more attention than her sisters — and that’s okay. ⸻ 🧠 The bigger takeaway This is a perfect example of why: • There is no single “best way” • Systems are tools, not rules • Genetics always get a vote • Listening beats forcing We’re not chasing perfection — we’re responding with intention. We’ll keep monitoring her closely over the coming week and adjust calmly, step by step. As always, this is just our experience and observation — not a universal recipe. Plants teach, we adapt 🌱💚 👽 New team member Meet Mr. Baggy Our new fluffy alien/beaver/whatever-he-is friend, won through a Grow Diaries contest. Expect to see him around — he’s officially part of the grow now. Week 5 Veg/pre-flower | 8×8 Tent | Master Conditions 🌍 External Environment (Context) • Outside temperature: ~5 °C • Outside RH: 92–96% (very high humidity) • Strong seasonal pressure influencing internal stability ⸻ 🌡️ Internal Tent Conditions • Tent temperature: ~21.8 °C (noted drop due to cold external temps) • Tent RH: ~58% → Very good considering outside conditions ⸻ 💨 Airflow & Circulation • Primary airflow: Bottom → top → wall return • Pattern: Full-room vortex circulation • Additional fans: Central airflow to break blind spots and mix layers • Goal: No stagnant pockets, uniform VPD across canopy ⸻ 💧 Water Source & Rationale • Water: Dehumidifier water + rainwater • Base EC: force • Systems designed to support plant intelligence, not override it FOR DISCOUNT CODES AND MORE JUST FOLLOW THE LINK https://website.beacons.ai/dogdoctorofficial 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
