The Mandarine Cream is entering its third week of flowering, and the aroma is becoming increasingly potent. The plant is looking beautiful and vigorous, with the buds showing significant daily growth. The smell is evolving into a strong, citrusy scent, reminiscent of grapefruit. Environment: This week began with a cold front, bringing temperatures down to a minimum of 5°C and a maximum of 15°C. A light rain has helped increase the humidity, which could boost resin production, although the cooler temperatures may also slow down the flowering process, just as they did during the vegetative stage. Fertilizing: I've stopped fertilizing as the plant now has everything it needs from the substrate. Watering: Sparse, around once a week, to maintain the right moisture levels without over-saturating. Pest Control: Beauveria applications have been reduced to once weekly, and the garden remains completely free of pests, which is a pleasant surprise. Training: The main cola top remains tied down. I haven't done any further defoliation or additional training. The focus is now on letting the plant continue its natural growth as it transitions deeper into flowering.

Stretching has stopped, end of week 6, one pheno stretched others have barely doubled but never the less each one are producing fat sticky colas with an amazing zesty fruity hazey stench ! I wasn’️t anticipating have all 7 being massive cause it was a last minute call buying a bigger tent else I’️d of just had the four but again, fantastic stuff !

Woche drei der Blüte und alles Bestens! Aufgrund der dichten Struktur habe ich die Pflanze an Blütetag 19 großzügig ausgedünnt. Bei photoperiodischen warte ich damit bis mind. Blütetag 21. Die kleine Auto Blueberry Banana scheint aber schon recht weit, daher habe ich hier keine Bedenken. Seit Mitte der Woche scheinen die Blattspitzen etwas Überdüngung anzuzeigen. Der Drain mit Osmosewasser bei ph 6,4 und 20 microSiemens hat ph6,7 und 800microSiemens. Setze die Stickstoffgabe etwas herab indem ich Hesi Blüte reduziere und pk13/14 ergänzend zuführe. Erhöhe somit gleichzeitig Phosphor und Kalium.

I'm finaly able to check in on her again. ### Day 9 ### She is looking good, a little short, but that should turn out alright. The humidity was only 30%, so I tried to raise it by spraying the walls of the bucket and adding a damp sponge. Watered her with 0.5l ph'd water and also lowered the light again to 40cm from the plant. ### Day 10 ### Looks like she is developing another set of leaves, keep it up girl! 👌Humidity is still not really on point, the sponge doesn't seem to help. Decided to cook some water and put the water cooker next to the vent, hopefully this is a solution. ### Day 11 ### Growing steadily, the new set of leaves are showing more clearly today. The water cooking seem to have some effect, but sadly it doesn't last long, maybe I should look for an air humidifier. ### Day 12 ### Decided to pull the trigger on an air humidifier. Because my grow space is naturally stabilizing to 30%, I don't really need a dehumidifier. This is a lot better then cooking water every few hours! 😛 ### Day 13 ### I will be away again till day 17. I gave her 0.6l of water with her first batch of food and then put 0.25l ph'ed water in the dipper so that she won't dry out. Also noticed that when the humidity was 65% her leaves where a little droopy and now at 50% they look ok. Will try to keep it at 55% while I'm away.

Day 76 HARVESTED 💚💚💚🌱🌱🌱 growing this lady has been so easy and fast. Buds are heavy and full, smell has been so strong since the beginning this time. I get 200 wet gr. From this lady. I hope to get 70 dried as they’re really nice and heavy :) Will update in some weeks for the most important information :) Let’s goooooo!!!

I think I'm off to a good start. This is the roughest part of a grow for me so far. One thing that I learned from my past killings was to not get obsessive and that's the approach. I've got a way better understanding of feeding now. I was confused about feeding charts, thinking that it was mix and feed. Even though I checked the PH and PPM (incorrectly a few times) I'd consistently fry my plants to near death, bring them back with plain, proper ph'd water and then re-fry the next feeding. It hadn't dawned on me that the nutrient mix while being in the optimal PH range, mixed in right order and correct measurements, my PPM/EC was way too high for the stage of the plant. Yikes, I was feeding a toddler 3 double Whoppers with extra everything. And XL fries. You burn and learn I guess. The little girl was starting to look hungry so I took a shot and fed light nutrients with some hydrogen peroxide (will update the chart soon getting sleepy). I also punched a lot more holes in the bottom of the solo cup. Few hours later her leaves perked up like she was giving me a high five. Leaves are looking good too with a PPM of about 211. It's going to be a warmer weekend so I figure I'll crack another seed and put my 5 gallon pot to use. Possibly a photoperiod?

Getting there... cant wait for Spring Walls are up and painted, floor is laid, electrical all done, exhaust outlets mounted. Ive started to install the trim - I decided to put a grey stain instead of boring paint on the floor trim boards. Looks really solid against the dark bamboo floors. I used two gallons and two coats of flat pure white paint for walls and ceiling. Should give me a reflectivity somewhere around 80%. Some may ask why not opt for mylar? I just dont like the look. I dont care too much for reflectivity, as I will be well above the required watts/sqft with the light setup I will be using. I mounted an electrical receptacle in the ceiling, I thought it may come in handy for cord management. Im going to mount the 3 x meanwell drivers outside of the grow room and run some extra long cables to them. This is to keep heat out of the room, any little bit helps. Will be running a 8inch fan with about 750 CFM in order to properly vent the room. Intake will be a door vent and the negative pressure the fan provides. Odor is not too much of a concern, but may as well add a carbon filter. Still working on my canopy. I did some defoliation in order to encourage growth at the bud sites and improve circulation. I have 3-4 weeks until her sister is mature enough to flower. I took a gamble and germinated another seed two weeks ago because the one I originally planted with her turned out to be male. I hope it will be mature enough to produce a decent yield. Even though it will only have been growing for 4 weeks. By that time I expect most of the bud sites on the older plant to have grown through the trellis, and I should have a nice even canopy. The second plant will just be grown as is with very little training. I don't want to slow its growth at all.

Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different!
