Yo this is the start of week 8 of flower! This will definitely be the last week for this beautiful cultivar, her buds are rock hard, caked in trichomes and they are ripe for the picking. The smell this beaut is giving off is a skunk funky gas with that signature cannabis smell I can’t get enough of. I can’t stress this enough HOLY HELL THIS PLANT IS SOMETHING ELSE!!! Everything I want in a plant this plant has it. I will absolutely be growing this again and making a monster out of it because muh god if the taste is there I might just have to keep this around forever HAHAHAH. 10/8 - going along steady. I'll take few more glam shots later. 2 MONTHS. It may not look like much but I'm proud of these 3. This is probably the healthiest tent I've had since I started growing inside. I just want them to fill out the net a little better before I flip. 10/10 - trellis training is underway. Between topping and this, I should have a nice, full canopy this time around. I've estimated about 72 squares in my net yet only about 35 or so colas forming. Wondering if I should really I push this one or quit while I'm ahead. One thing is for certain, Moby dick is responding much faster to being topped than GZ. Every stem of Moby I've topped has grown lower shoots aggressively and quickly. Gz has been far slower to respond. Noted. Can't wait to see these things bud. But patience is a virtue here. If the veg stage is any indicator, the buds going to be phenomenal.

The grow was super easy, steady growth and sturdy strength, no deficiencies..fed 3/4 strength General Hydroponics nutrient line. Ended up topping her three times, giving her a total of 10 tops. Overall medium height with an amazing manifold and unbreakable stem. Harvested on day 65, an absolutely great strong structure being able to hold it's weight of 101 Grams⚖️️. An easy grow with an amazing taste, smell, and smoke. Recommended completely for all growers 💯

WEEK #10 - FLIP IT Light: Flipped to 12/12 on friday 24.04., so exactly 10 weeks after germination, with plants ca. 25cm in diameter and 18-20cm in height. Huge step personally, looking forward to witnessing the upcoming transformation. But before: Last time fed with HESI Grow, watered generously with a little bit of drain. Defoiled very heavily mid of week again (thanks for the advice, @jen_zee - that's where this community really shines 😍) to prepare for stretch (results not for the easy mind, be warned 😉). Skywalker plant is super bushy and recovered within very few days. Slush Mint Cake also doing well, impression (because of my earlier mistake) is rather sparse, but still very potent. Think i like the Slush Mint Cake even more (although stems of leaves are VERY long), because the Skywalker one is just very dense. Outdoor temperatures are getting higher here during the day, which benefits the indoor temperatures also. Humidity is still rather high though, will need to have an eye for that. Lamp was adjusted to 35cm accoring to growth and upped to 50% intensity. Also installed a SCROG net already, unluckily MarsHydro has shipped a 80x80cm version for a 70x70cm tent. That's why it looks a bit ridicolous. Will do its deed though, i think (do you was well?). Used a few landscape staples to bend a few branches into position, where space was available.

Another week closer.... Well not a bad week, everything is going great. The only problem which seems to happen alot with low ceilings is ..these plants are big... Very Big, all pretty much the same height over 5ft each, its not that I don't like big plants, I do but when you start to run out of room and you have to get creative with them under the lights, they need to be at least 18 inch from the light or they will start to foxtail from the heat ...Yes I know I could of topped them to slow or stop the height, but I dont like to touch anything when growing, I like to let them do there thing including not clipping any leaves. Besides that everything is going great,..the one plant I had a problem with snapped back once I corrected the PH and shes growing/budding like crazy... Nothing else to report::: Until next week, smoke a fatty, help out your fellow grower.

D63/F15 - 11.21 - easily the most vigorous plants in the tent. The passion berry has unbelievable structure and stretch. She stands about 6 inches taller than all the others today. I have 5 more fem'd Passion Berry seeds. 😈Depending on how this one finishes and the bud profile, they might get their own tent next run. D66/F18 - 11.24 - Little LA sunset that was such a runt for so long is starting to put on buds all nice. Gonna defoliate her in 4-5 days. Yes I wet trim. I said never again after my very first harvest; peeling away dead leaves. Yes I have a cannatrol. Without this machine, I could not be on this for the cultural cannabis journey that I love so much the machine keeps the smell contained completely. Sorry, no I have never dried and cured in the traditional fashion. What I now understand about dewpoint I don’t think I would ever do it the traditional way. it makes more sense to re-create the same conditions in the box. Yooo, Oreoz Inferno smells like some form of flammable accelerant that I can’t place, with berries on top of berries. I think I understand what loud means now. After a while, the smell was more like a thickness in the room. Right so w the cannatrol by 4/20 this ISH will be 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I still have TRUFFLE STOMPER and peach crescendo. Truffle Stomper will be ready in the next 3 to 5 days. TBC

DAY 63 THE FINALE !!!!! Howdy all. I hope we are all well and in the green. This has been a very interesting and rewarding journey for me in so many ways on this journal. I have had the opportunity to run a seed of my own which has been a brilliant result from what I am looking at as I type this. It stayed really squat and has produced some somid hand grenade sized buds that smell of a diesel and fruit combination. I also picked up the lemon from her pollen chuckers genetics too. Should be an interesting cure I hope. I did find a couple of bud rot spots that had to be pulled out but with her density I am not shocked at all. I will be using the dehumidifier for their dry for sure. The Northern lights autos have also finished nicely too and I do think could go a little longer with a push but time is up and the next run is looming !!!!!!. She has some great sized spiked colas to enjoy my attention everytime I go in the room . Just like the other girl , she did have a couple of mould spots that had to be taken out but not too much of a loss thankfully. Her mutant sister will also be put into her dark 48hrs along with these as she is also done now. She has a lot less to harvest but looks so sweet and potent up close to the buds now. I took the Gorilla cookies out earlier in the week as they had finished perfectly. After 48hrs dark I used the bowl trimmer to help with time and get her off the stalks as I did find some mould on them too. Recent environmental changing has bought RH issues to the front again. They have given up some great smelling and solid nuggets that are now starting their drying out period in the nets. The rest of the ladies will be joining them later in the week until I can do a harvest report and my opinion of this amazing light unit from viparspectra. With new projects afoot and lots of re jigging to accommodate them , I am looking forward to the next few runs too. I hope you will join me for the fun and always welcome comments and ideas too. Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain.
