April 22 Sooo, i decided that the leaves that were getting no light and that the plant was naturally killing had to be removed as well as some initial ramifications that hadnt grown so much and were not forming any buds. I ended using powerzyme the other day and I will be using fast food minerals (BAC) mixed with some foliar alg-a-mic and see how they feel about it. The smaller ones seem to be streching so much more in this vegetation stage that i am afraid i will have 5 monsters in a couple of weeks. I know that there is a lot of discussion about pruning autos or not, i personally decided to go with a SOG though initially i was thinking more of a SCROG, but things got a little out of hand and i think it was the perfect moment, 3 weeks more to flower and recover from the stress. I will update in a couple of days. April 24 2 days after the defoliation the plants seem to be doing all right, buds are progressively getting bigger (or at least that´s my impression) and they are still getting taller, I honestly wasn´t expecting this size from an autoflowering strain, I´m very pleased with this LSDs. To get them through all this stress and since I had been only adding enzimes to the water for about 10 days, I started again with BACs Fast Food minerals yesterday (2,5ml/L though BAC says 4) and they loved it. Some of them were starting to have their leaves a little bit sad and they are now just reaching as much as they can to the light as you can appreciate in the video. End of the week Buds just seem to be getting bigger and i think they are no longer growing taller, they seem happy. Watering them every 2 days with 1 liter of water - food - water... and they seem to be fine with nutrients for the moment.

Plants are getting too big for enough light coverage, so had to buy a second grow light. As noted before, the plant was getting out of hand and growing at many different heights making it difficult to set the optimum light distance. So, I went a little crazy and did some serious pruning (yes, during flowing, I know). Also trimmed off a number of fan leaves that were either beginning to yellow or were otherwise blocking valuable light from the many of the smaller buds. Fortunately my plants are very resilient and are finally at mostly equal heights now. Hindsight 20/20: I now have a better idea of how to route my plants using the ScrOG method. I found a well written blog that answered all the questions I had that other article didn't. Bottom line: Instead of allowing the main branches to grow through the netting and re-route the offshoots, I've found it's better to keep the main branches under the netting and allow the off-shoots to grow through instead. Think of it as the plant growing sideways.

Filter and fan kept the smells down

This is a seriously hard plant to take photos of, it's so big and lanky. She's on about a 20 degree angle at this point too, she's very top heavy 🤣 Very impressed with this girl. I almost tossed her out as a seedling due to her mutation; I've included a seedling photo to show the reader how far this plant has come. She has produced very dense and sticky buds with extremely strong aromas. She smells like candy and gas, just like a zkittles female would smell late in flower. It's been an easy grow. I'm expecting about 4 oz of high quality flower after dry and cure stages. I intend to press at least half of my yield with my rosin press. This seems like the perfect strain to make concentrates with due to the high terpene/trichome levels. I just added a photo of the Forbidden Runtz i grew in round 1 directly above round 2 flower for a comparison between the two. Round 1 is the two top buds that have more brown/red tone in colour. Round 2 are the lower two buds...a bigger, danker, and better version of the Forbidden Runtz I grew the first time. Please leave a comment to tell me what you think of the photo comparison. Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. By far the tallest girls in the tent. Her colas are stacking up nice and tight if she keeps that up we'll have some nice dense colas. 😁 Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

Eine Reise geht zu Ende, wie ein Freund treffend sagte: "Sie werden so schnell erwachsen". 11 Wochen ist es her, dass ich dieses Tagebuch gestartet habe und bin ganz froh einen super entspannten Grow hinter mich gebracht zu haben. Die Pflanzen haben super auf das Topping reagiert und wuchsen danach mit schnellen Tempo weiter. Jetzt hängen sie zum Trocknen und in 5-6 Tagen weiß ich dann, wie viel es geworden ist.

Kinda worried the buds are showing lots of cloudy trichromes and on sugar leaves I am seeing amber. Bud Structure and the way they are still taking their feedings are telling me otherwise. So Im guna keep on trucking. My grows flowering times are never what breeder says too, always longer. Forgot to mention at the start of week 5 I added full tilt by floraflex aswell. Also started watering 8x a day with lights on. One time at lights off. At about 160ml each feeding with about 40-50ml runoff. These small pots are all roots and I feel the high frequency waterings are necessary to keep the runoff EC levels down Wattage 170 EC 700 Humidity 58 Temp 78

Hey guys, this other week went very cool, I start reducing the nuts to the minimum and I can see really how fattening are the buds. Now I can see some pretty milky trichomes, and just few cloudy, so I consider to chop in max 2 full weeks... (71 total days from seed) but anyway I'll adapt to how the plant is at that time. The smell it's absolutely, insanely strong and ill need to buy ASAP a carbon filter to reduce it. The only issue encountered in this grow was keeping low the humidity, and in fact I was not really able to do so as it stands at 55-65...but without noticing any mold issue on flowers. Can wait to update this post next week! Stay tuned, stay high!

Gorgeous looking plant, you can tell she's definitely an indica strain by those beautiful fat leaves that she has, I'm very excited to try this strain for the 1st time, and also it's the first time I grow a strain from this Spanish Bank from the canary islands! I'm pumped to be able to grow her this year, let's see how she performs!!

Mar 26 Fed a gallon of RAW GROW: about 15ml worth of nutrients. Continuing the LST. Mar 27 Going to have to look back into defoliation techniques here soon. She's like a forest under that canopy!

After drying, the hydro plant's bud smelled a little different. Considering the small amount and the bud rod that was cut away previously, I didn't want to risk anything and threw it away. So the harvest is just about the soil plant. I dried the whole plant except larger fan leaves. As this was an outdoor-ish grew I don't have any specialised equipment. It just had to dry in the room, which averaged 24°C and 60% humidity, probably not ideal. After 10 days it was trimmed and finally weighed. Might still be a little wet though. Final dry weight was 42g, after weighing in wet and untrimmed at 294g.
