💙 8×8 Adventure – Week 15 🌿 Blueberry Muffin – Pheno A ❤️ The Survivor's Final Chapter Begins — From the 8×8 Jungle to the Macro Photography Studio! Hello everyone, my friends! 💚🌱 First of all, a little apology! As you probably know by now, we have quite a lot of content to share from this final stage of the 8×8 Adventure. And unfortunately, GrowDiaries gives us a maximum of 30 photos per report. Thirty photos. 😂 For a project with this many plants, this many details, and this much photography, that's not exactly generous! So we're going to divide the final reports into several parts, just as we've been doing with the other girls. This allows us to give each plant the attention she deserves without leaving out all the little details that make these diaries special. And today, we're starting with one of our little survivors. 💙 Blueberry Muffin Pheno A! This girl has had quite a journey. She was never the fastest plant in the room. In fact, both Blueberry Muffin sisters have been taking their sweet time throughout this 12/12-from-seed experiment. While some of their neighbours seemed to be racing through their flowering development, these two decided that they had their own calendar. 😂💙 But beautiful plants don't need to be fast plants. And this little lady has given us plenty to appreciate along the way. Let's take a look at how her story reached its final chapter! ──────────────────────── 💙 A LITTLE RECAP — THE SURVIVOR For anyone joining us now, this project started with a simple but interesting experiment: Growing different genetics from seed under a 12/12 light schedule from the very beginning. No traditional vegetative period. Just the plants, their genetics, and the same shared environment. And what a journey it has been! Blueberry Muffin Pheno A was one of the slower girls in the room. She remained relatively compact, developed at her own pace, and consistently reminded us that not every phenotype follows the same timeline. Her flowers, however, were always worth watching. Beautiful structures, lovely colours, and an increasingly interesting appearance as the weeks passed. We documented her development week after week, including the little changes that might easily go unnoticed when looking at the room as a whole. And now, as we approached the end of her journey, we had one more little change to make. ──────────────────────── 🏡 A NEW LITTLE HOME FOR THE FINAL DAYS During this final stage, we moved Blueberry Muffin Pheno A and her sister into a smaller tent. They needed a little extra time there, resting for a few more days than the rest of the room before reaching their own finishing point. So, while the other girls were already moving through their respective final stages, our Blueberry Muffin sisters had a slightly different schedule. And that's perfectly fine. This was still part of the same experiment, and we wanted to give them the time they needed rather than rushing their individual timelines. By the end of the week, it was harvest time for our little survivor. 💙🌸 And what a beautiful way to close her journey! ──────────────────────── 🌸 THE FINAL LOOK — BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS AND AN AMAZING SMELL Before we get too deep into the photography, let's talk about the plant herself. Because that's what brought us here in the first place! Blueberry Muffin Pheno A finished her journey with some beautiful-looking flowers. The photographs included in this report show her final appearance in the tent, allowing everyone to see how she looked during those last days. And the smell? Absolutely beautiful! This is one of those moments when I wish photographs could carry aromas with them. 😂💙 Unfortunately, we're still waiting for that technology! For now, you'll have to take my word for it. The aroma was something I really enjoyed, and I'm genuinely looking forward to sharing more about this girl once we get to her smoking bud report. And believe me, my friends, you don't want to miss that one. We'll leave the detailed impressions, flavours, and final thoughts for the next chapter. For now, let's appreciate the plant and the work that went into documenting her. ──────────────────────── 📸 BEHIND THE SCENES — THERE'S A LOT MORE TO A PHOTO THAN YOU THINK! Now, this is one of the things I really wanted to include in this report. Because people see the finished photographs, scroll through them, maybe leave a comment, and move on. And that's completely understandable! But there's quite a bit happening behind the scenes before one of those final images reaches the diary. For this Blueberry Muffin, we went a little deeper into our macro photography. And I mean DEEP. 😂🔬 We're including photographs from the studio, some behind-the-scenes moments, and even a little video showing the camera taking the photographs. I want people to have a better idea of the process. The equipment. The setup. The positioning. The patience. The little adjustments. And, most importantly, the passion behind it. Because macro photography isn't simply pointing a camera at a flower and pressing a button. There's a whole process behind every image, and sometimes a single photograph represents quite a bit of work. I know it's difficult to understand unless you've tried it yourself. But that's precisely why I enjoy sharing these moments. I want you to see a little more of what happens outside the final picture. 💙📸 ──────────────────────── 🔬 MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY — 35 TO 666 PHOTOS IN A SINGLE STACK! And here comes the fun part! For this session, we went quite deep into focus stacking. Some of the stacks were relatively small, starting at around 35 individual photographs. Others required considerably more. And our maximum for this session? ❤️ 666 PHOTOS IN ONE STACK! Yes, six hundred and sixty-six! 😂🔬 For anyone unfamiliar with focus stacking, here's a quick explanation. When photographing very small subjects at high magnification, the depth of field becomes extremely limited. That means only a very small portion of the subject may appear in focus in a single photograph. Focus stacking is a technique where multiple photographs are taken at slightly different focus distances. Those images are then combined to produce one final photograph with a much greater area in focus. Instead of relying on a single image, we're combining information from many individual frames. And depending on the subject, the magnification, and the amount of detail we want to capture, that can mean dozens, hundreds, or even more photographs. In this session, we went from approximately 35 frames all the way to 666. That's a lot of photographs for one final image! 😂💙 But when you look at the finished results, you can start appreciating why we do it. Tiny details become visible. Structures that are difficult to appreciate with the naked eye become much easier to explore. And the photographs allow us to look at these flowers from a completely different perspective. It's a little world inside a little world. 🔬🌸 ──────────────────────── ? WAIT... IS THAT A GNAT?! Now, because apparently even our macro photography sessions need a little comedy... We also managed to capture a gnat! 😂? And not just a random blurry little insect somewhere in the background. We went in close enough to show the details! We've included a zoomed-in view so everyone can find our little visitor more easily. Consider it a small photographic treasure hunt. Can you spot the gnat? 🔎😂 It's actually a nice example of what macro photography can reveal. Things that might be almost invisible when looking at the plant normally can become surprisingly detailed when you start exploring the image at high magnification. And sometimes, you discover something you weren't even looking for! So, enjoy the little gnat hunt. I certainly wasn't expecting it to become part of the report! ──────────────────────── 🎥 THE STUDIO — SHOWING THE WORK BEHIND THE IMAGES We're also including several photographs from the studio. You'll see Blueberry Muffin in the photography setup, the equipment, the camera, and some of the behind-the-scenes moments from the session. There's also a little video showing the camera taking photographs. I think this is important because I want the community to understand that these diaries aren't just about growing a plant and taking a quick picture every week. There's a lot of time and passion invested in documenting the journey. The growing is one part. The photography is another. And then there's the editing, the focus stacking, selecting the images, writing the reports, organising everything, and putting it all together. Sometimes a single diary update represents hours of work. And that's before we even start talking about all the other plants in the room! 😂💚 I genuinely enjoy doing it, though. Because I don't just want to show people what the plants look like. I want to share the details, the process, the observations, and a little bit of the world behind the camera. Hopefully, these behind-the-scenes moments give you a better appreciation of the work that goes into every report. ──────────────────────── 🌱 THE 12/12-FROM-SEED EXPERIMENT — EVERY PLANT HAS HER OWN STORY Looking back at this Blueberry Muffin, one thing remains particularly interesting to me. She was slower than many of the other plants sharing the room. And yet, she developed beautifully in her own way. That's one of the main reasons I wanted to document each phenotype individually throughout this adventure. We had different genetics sharing the same general environment, and the differences between them became part of the story. Some moved quickly. Some took their time. Some developed very different structures. And some surprised us along the way. Blueberry Muffin Pheno A certainly belongs to the slower group. But she also reminded us that there's more to a plant's journey than how quickly she reaches the finish line. Same adventure. Different genetics. Different expressions. And plenty of interesting things to learn. 💙🌿 ──────────────────────── ❤️ WHAT'S NEXT? THE SMOKING BUD REPORT! Now, my friends, we're not finished with this girl just yet. Not even close! This report is the beginning of her harvest story. We've shown you the final days in the tent, the move into her temporary little home, and a good part of the photography process. We've also gone deep into macro photography, with stacks ranging from 35 to 666 photographs, and even found ourselves a little gnat along the way. 😂🔬 But there's another part of the story waiting for us. The actual final bud report! We'll come back with more details about the flowers, the final impressions, the aromas, flavours, and the smoking experience. And I'm genuinely looking forward to sharing that with everyone. The smell was already amazing, and I'm curious to see how the final experience develops. So stay tuned! 💙🌸 ──────────────────────── 💚 COME JOIN THE DOG DOCTOR COMMUNITY! And before we close, a little invitation to everyone following the 8×8 Adventure. And to everyone joining us on Discord: thank you for helping make this community what it is. The plants may eventually reach harvest, but the community and the friendships built along the way are what make these adventures even more special. 💚🙏 ──────────────────────── 💙 FINAL THOUGHTS — ONE LITTLE SURVIVOR, ONE BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY And here we are. Blueberry Muffin Pheno A. Our little survivor. She wasn't the fastest girl in the 8×8. She certainly didn't rush through her flowering journey. But she gave us beautiful flowers, an amazing smell, and plenty of interesting moments to document. We moved her with her sister into a smaller tent for those final days, gave her a little more time, and reached harvest by the end of the week. And before closing this chapter, we decided to give her the full photography treatment. From the final tent pictures to the studio, from the behind-the-scenes videos to the macro photographs, and from 35-frame stacks all the way to 666... We wanted to capture as much of her story as possible. Because every plant deserves to be documented properly. And every little detail has a story of its own. 💙🌸🔬 So, my friends, thank you for joining us for this first part. The next chapter will bring us closer to the final impressions of this little Blueberry Muffin. And believe me... You don't want to miss the smoking bud report! Growers Love, my friends, and happy growing! 🌱💚💙 See you in the next chapter of the 8×8 Adventure... where our little survivor gets her final review, the macro lens keeps discovering tiny worlds, the gnat gets its fifteen minutes of fame... 😂? and we keep celebrating every little detail of this beautiful journey. Let's grow, document, share, and keep learning together! 💚

🌿 Super Silver Haze – Harvest Report (Zamnesia Seeds) Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Super Silver Haze Breeder: Zamnesia Seeds Lights: Future of Grow Black Series 600W | ThinkGrow ICL-300 | Lumatek Zeus 465 Compact Pro Control System: TrolMaster Hydro-X Ecosystem Medium: Custom Super Soil Mix with Aptus Holland Amendments Environment: 8x8 Shared Tent | Day Temp 29.6°C | RH 67% | CO₂ 700 ppm ✨ From Seed to Soul – A Legendary Journey What a ride this one was. From the first spark of life in the Cannakan to the final aromatic breath from the Groove Bags, this Super Silver Haze journey was everything—a perfect reflection of the plant herself: bright, strong, unpredictable, and utterly timeless. Three seeds were germinated — all three came out strong, though one was shy. From there, two phenos took the lead, both with stunning vigor, hybrid leaves, and perfectly compact growth. Throughout veg and flower, they mirrored each other so closely it felt like growing twins. There were highs — lush foliage, incredible root growth, and perfect structure — and there were lows — a bout of bud rot, handled quickly and carefully. But like in life, every setback was a lesson. The environment taught us, the plants guided us, and we adapted. 💧 Feeding & Soil The foundation of this run was a custom super soil charged with Aptus Holland amendments — Mycor-Mix, Micro-Mix, and Substrate Buffer Powder. Throughout veg and early flower, the girls enjoyed a balanced routine of: Aptus Regulator – For strength & stress control Aptus CalMag Boost – Supporting cell structure Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal & Green Sensation – Enhancing bloom, resin & sweetness Aptus All-in-One Liquid & Top Booster – Brought in at key stages for balance and final push By the final weeks, we tapered down to pure water — a gentle flush that allowed the plant to use her own reserves. This stage is vital; it purifies the flavor, softens the smoke, and reveals the true essence of the strain. 🌬️ The Harvest The girls were harvested whole and dried for about 14 days at 60°F (15.5°C) and 60% RH, the perfect “60/60” for slow, even drying. Branches were ready when they snapped cleanly — a satisfying sound of readiness. Trimming was done entirely by hand on a Trim Bin, using Zamnesia curved blade scissors — slow, patient, and meditative. Frost everywhere. The gloves were covered in resin, leaving behind sticky charas that smelled like pure nostalgia. Yields: 🌿 Pheno #1: 153.15 g of dry, dense, frosted flowers 🌿 Pheno #2: 126 g of equally beautiful, slightly sweeter buds 🍋 Aroma, Flavor & Smoke Open a Groove Bag and you’re met with a wave — sweet citrus, ripe fruit, and that unmistakable Haze spice. Both phenos share the same terpene fingerprint, but #1 carries a deeper, earthier tone while #2 shines with fruity brightness. The smoke itself is smooth, creamy, and elegant — full-bodied yet gentle. Inhale: Fruity citrus sweetness Exhale: Earthy, classic Haze with a spicy afterglow It’s like smoking sunshine filtered through memory. 🌀 Curing – Glass & Groove Bags Curing took place in Groove Bags and glass jars — both excellent, but different in spirit. Glass jars (Pheno #2): require daily “burping,” opening to let moisture escape. Groove Bags (Pheno #1): a modern evolution — engineered with breathable film that automatically balances RH. No burping, no fuss, just perfection. The result? Two styles of cure, both producing world-class aroma and velvet texture. ⚙️ Gear That Shaped the Legend Zamnesia Seeds – For the timeless Super Silver Haze genetics Aptus Holland – For balanced, bioavailable nutrition Plagron – For the bloom magic and resin push Future of Grow, ThinkGrow, Lumatek – For perfect full-spectrum lighting TrolMaster Hydro-X System – The digital brain of the grow Grove Bags – For preserving freshness and flavor Each piece of gear played a part in writing this chapter. 🌈 Reflections & Gratitude This run was a story of resilience — of learning, adapting, and never losing faith. Bud rot appeared, but so did strength. Mistakes came, but so did lessons. And in the end, she rewarded us with medicine so beautiful it transcends the difficulties. To everyone following the journey — the growers, lovers, haters, dreamers, sponsors, and the Zamnesia family — thank you. This wouldn’t be possible without you. Flush week begins for one of the 2 plants. Not many red pistils yet but I will be cutting in a few days as there is already quite a bit of amber color in the crystals. Definitely don't want to miss out on the nice terpenes, the smells are pretty amazing, very citrusy. The yield looks like it could be quite decent too. Buds not as thick as I was hoping for, but still really good looking. Some leafs on the right side plant showing some signs of various issues and maybe a few previously undetected bugs on some leafs, but looks like all should be good.

--- Day 43 --- 15/06/2021 Starting to water 3L today, she's looking really good. Shes finally starting to stretch out a bit, up till now her canopy was quite crammed and close. Some of her branches are starting to grow up and the whole thing is stretching out a bit, which is nice. She's now 51cm/20" tall. I've watered her again with 3l of 23C, 1000PPM, 6.0PH water with the above nutrients --- Day 44 --- 16/06/2021 I'm really happy with the way her canopy shape is looking, it's all pretty even and level, considering the accident I had, I think she's doing just fine. I've watered her again with 3l of 23C, 1000PPM, 6.0PH water with the above nutrients --- Day 45 --- 17/06/2021 She's now just over 23" tall and she's filled the tent. The light is as high as it can go, and she's touching the walls of the tent. She can't get any bigger, else we have issues. I'm going to have to get a bigger tent... I've watered her again with 3l of 23C, 1000PPM, 6.0PH water with the above nutrients --- Day 46 --- 18/06/2021 Shes now over 24" tall and she's filling the tent quickly. Also, I noticed today the first signs of her going into preflower, you can see really small white pistils showing 😀 I've watered her again with 3l of 23C, 1000PPM, 6.0PH water with the above nutrients --- Day 47 --- 19/06/2021 Shes growing really well, there are so many bud sites growing on her now, it won't be long before I'm watering 4L. I've watered her again with 3l of 23C, 1000PPM, 6.0PH water with the above nutrients --- Day 48 --- 20/06/2021 Shes starting to get way too big for the tent, I'm going to need a larger one. The humidity is also worrying, it's constantly at 98% even with the dehumidifier and ac on. I've watered her again with 3l of 23C, 1000PPM, 6.0PH water with the above nutrients --- Day 49 --- 21/06/2021 So, I got a new tent. I went from a 60x60x160cm one to a 90x90x200cm one. Ive also upgraded to the AC Inifity T4 extractor Fan system to help with the ventilation and humidity issues, it's really cool. I'm going to start watering 4L tomorrow. She's looking really good. I've watered her again with 3l of 23C, 1000PPM, 6.0PH water with the above nutrients

#Terple bred inhouse Genetic ready for the chop at day 56. She came out very pretty this round. The smoke on this is smooth, sweet, and complex. A good mix of #tropicannacookies and #Slurricane with Oranges and Lavender notes. Stretchy girl with long legs but she's a quick finisher with respectable yield. If you can find beans of this strain you need to get them asap.

Buds are flowering up super nice! Had a tiny issue where I thought it was much worse then it was (I got sum water on the leaves and it burnt circle shaped burns on them) I worried it was a fungal disease or something. I removed the leaves in a panic, and since haven't had any issues! Anyway the smell is amazing already I'm getting notes I really didn't expect to smell on a Superboof cross! Almost remiscent of Creature Feature or Acapulco Gold with a bit more gas! It is only week 4, so ideally the Terps should transform. I am loving it so far The bud structure is looking amazing, the top nugs are almost spear shaped which is really cool, some of the buttom bugs are almost spear shaped as well but more circle/fat. Standard nug look. It's beginning to stack some frost on as well! I have a good idea the nugs are going to have a nice lumpy - spear shaped buds. Almost looks as if the tops are foxtailing which would be really cool too! Amazing genetics. Every issue I've encountered has been so quickly corrected and bounced back. No herms, definently high grade genetics and I'm happy to be working with Homegrown Genetics to be able to post this seed to harvest and share with everyone!
