๐Ÿ’œ 8ร—8 Adventure โ€“ Week 12 Purple Haze by Zamnesia โ€“ Pheno B The Little Frosty Queen Is Still Shiningโ€ฆ Even When She Hides From The Camera ๐Ÿ˜‚โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‘‘ Welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร—8 Adventure! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š And... well... I have a small confession to make. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ Somehow... SOMEHOW... I managed to miss the individual photographs of our Purple Haze Pheno B this week. Again. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚ I know. I know. After all the talk about how much I love documenting these girls, here we are... with no dedicated photo stack of our little Frosty Queen. Apparently, she decided: "You've photographed my sister enough. This week, I'll be mysterious." ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œโ„๏ธ But before anyone thinks she's disappeared... she hasn't. She's right there in the room. She's growing. She's beautiful. She's developing. She's doing exactly what she has been doing throughout this entire adventure. And thankfully, we do have general room photographs and a video showing the whole 8ร—8. So if you look closely... you can still find our little Purple Haze girl in there. ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒฟ And I may still find the missing photographs. I've been digging through different folders because I genuinely believe I took them. So... if they suddenly appear from some mysterious photographic dimension... I'll come back and update this week with her individual photographs. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ For now, though... we work with what we have. And honestly? Even without the dedicated portraits... I know this girl. She's still beautiful. She's still shining. She's still growing. She's still doing her thing. She's simply doing it a little slower than her sister. And that's perfectly okay. So let's give our little Frosty Queen the spotlight anyway. โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‘‘๐ŸŒฟ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒฑ WEEK 12 โ€“ THE GIRL WHO DOESN'T NEED TO RUSH โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ Purple Haze Pheno B continues to be exactly who she has shown us throughout this adventure. Compact. Beautiful. Frosty. And... slow. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œ Especially when you put her next to her sister. Purple Haze Pheno A has apparently discovered the accelerator pedal and refuses to let go. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿš€ Pheno B? She's driving with the windows down and enjoying the scenery. ๐Ÿ˜‚ And that's okay. Because when I look at Pheno B, I don't see a plant that's failing to keep up. I see a plant following her own rhythm. She's developing. She's flowering. She's continuing to build. She's maintaining her beautiful appearance. And she's slowly becoming more substantial. She's simply doing it on her own timetable. That's one of the most important things this 8ร—8 Adventure continues to teach me. Not every plant needs to move at the same speed. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ’œ SMALLER THAN HER SISTER โ€“ BUT STILL A BEAUTY โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ There's no question about it. Purple Haze Pheno B is smaller than her sister. And right now, she's also somewhat behind her in visible flowering development. But that's not a criticism. It's an observation. And there's a huge difference. Her sister is moving extremely quickly. The flowers are becoming enormous. The week-to-week changes are dramatic. Pheno B is taking a different road. She's more compact. She's slower. She's developing at a more measured pace. And yet... she's beautiful. That's what matters. Because if I walked into the room without knowing which plant was which, I wouldn't look at her and think: "What's wrong with this plant?" I'd look at her and think: "There's our little Purple Haze." ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒฟ She has her own appearance. Her own structure. Her own rhythm. Her own identity. And that's exactly what we want to document. THE FROSTY QUEEN IS STILL FROSTY โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ If there's one characteristic that has remained impossible to ignore with this girl... it's the frost. โ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธ Even without this week's individual macro session, I know what I'm seeing when I look at her in the room. That beautiful resin-covered character is still there. The flowers continue developing. The surrounding sugar leaves continue carrying that frosty appearance. And when the room lighting hits her from the right angle... she catches the light beautifully. She's not the biggest girl. She's not the fastest. But she has something that makes you stop. You see her. You look closer. And there she is. Our little Frosty Queen. ๐Ÿ˜‚โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‘ That's her identity now. And honestly... I wouldn't change it. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ‘ญ TWO SISTERS โ€“ TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CLOCKS โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ The contrast between Purple Haze Pheno A and Pheno B continues to be one of my favourite things about this project. Same genetic line. Same room. Same lighting. Same general environment. Same irrigation philosophy. Same nutritional foundation. And yet... completely different development speeds. Pheno A is flying. ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’œ Pheno B is cruising. ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ˜‚ And that's exactly why having both in the same room is so valuable. If I only had one Purple Haze plant, I might look at her development and think: "This is how Purple Haze behaves." But because we have two phenotypes sharing the same environment... we can see that there isn't necessarily one single expression. There are differences. There are personalities. There are rhythms. There are individual plants. And Pheno B is giving us a beautiful example of that. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒฟ SLOW DOESN'T MEAN STOPPED โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ This is something I want to repeat because it is important. She's slower. She's not stopped. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œ There's a massive difference. She's still developing flowers. She's still changing. She's still growing. She's still using the environment. She's still building. She's simply doing it more slowly than the girl standing beside her. And honestly? That's okay. Plants don't read our weekly schedules. They don't know that we've labelled something "Week 12." They don't look at the diary and think: "Shit, better hurry up." ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“–๐ŸŒฟ They have their own biological timing. And this girl has made her timing pretty obvious. She takes her time. She does her thing. And eventually... she gets there. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ“ธ THE GREAT PHOTO HUNT โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ Now... let's talk about the elephant in the room. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ Where the hell are her photographs? I genuinely think I took them. I've been looking through folders. Different folders. Old folders. New folders. Folders that apparently contain everything except the photographs I'm actually looking for. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ๐Ÿ“ธ So I'm still hunting. And if I find them... I'll come back and update this week's diary with her individual photographs. Because she deserves them. But for now, we have the general room photographs. And we also have a video showing the entire room. And she's in there. You can see her. You can find her. You just need to play: "Where's Purple Haze Pheno B?" ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ”Ž๐Ÿ’œ It's basically a grow-room version of Where's Wally. Except Wally is a frosty little Purple Haze plant. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œโ„๏ธ And honestly... I'm sorry, girl. You deserved your own portrait session this week. SOMETIMES THE WHOLE ROOM TELLS THE STORY โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ The funny thing is... although I always prefer having dedicated photographs of each phenotype, the general room photographs and video actually give us something different. They show context. They show where she sits. They show her relationship with the rest of the canopy. They show the scale of the room. And they remind us of something important: This isn't twelve separate grows. It's one 8ร—8 environment. Twelve individual plants living inside it. And Purple Haze Pheno B is part of that larger picture. She's there. She's growing. She's developing. She's simply not standing in front of the camera this week saying: "Look at me." ๐Ÿ˜‚ Maybe she's shy. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ’ก SAME PHOTONS โ€“ DIFFERENT RESPONSE โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ The environment hasn't changed specifically for her. The upgraded lighting remains in place. The two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures continue providing the extra lighting capacity. We've kept the output controlled rather than simply running everything at maximum. We're still working around: ๐Ÿ’ก ~59% power from the plug with approximately: โ˜€๏ธ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy and naturally varying intensity according to height and position. And Pheno B is receiving those same photons. Just like her sister. Just like the rest of the room. But look at the result. Her response is different. Her development speed is different. Her structure is different. Her timing is different. And that's the beautiful part. The photons are the same. The plant's interpretation isn't. ๐Ÿ˜‚โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โ˜€๏ธ MORE LIGHTING CAPABILITY โ€“ CONTROLLED โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ I continue to really like the additional lighting setup. The point was never simply: "Let's make the room as bright as physically possible." ๐Ÿ˜‚โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ The point was to increase our capability. More available lighting. More flexibility. More control. And then find the level that makes sense for the room. The additional Future of Grow fixtures gave us that headroom. We don't have to run them flat out. We can control the output. And that means we have more capability without automatically turning that capability into wasted electricity. Purple Haze Pheno B gets the same opportunity as everyone else. What she does with that opportunity? That's her story. THE FLOWERS ARE STILL MOVING โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ Even without the dedicated photographs this week, the general room images and the video show us something important. She's still developing. She's not suddenly standing still because her sister is moving faster. She's still part of the flowering progression. The structure is continuing to develop. The flowers are continuing to gain definition. And her overall appearance remains beautiful. That's what I want to emphasize. We shouldn't confuse: "not moving as quickly as Pheno A" with: "not progressing." Those are completely different statements. Pheno B is progressing. She's just doing it at her own speed. And that's okay. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โš—๏ธ NUTRITION โ€“ NOW WE START EASING BACK โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ As we move further into the later stages of the flowering cycle, we're also beginning to change the nutritional approach. And this is something I personally prefer to do gradually. I don't like the idea of working with mineral nutrition and suddenly going: "Right. Zero everything tomorrow." ๐Ÿ˜‚ That's just not how I prefer to approach the transition. Instead, I like to start reducing the nutritional input progressively as the plants move toward their final stages. Small steps. Controlled changes. Watching the plants. Allowing the transition to happen rather than slamming the door shut overnight. And that's what we're beginning to do across the room. Pheno B is included in that gradual transition. We're not trying to force her because she's slower. We're simply allowing the entire room to move forward while continuing to observe each plant individually. Her development may be slower than her sister's... but her needs are still her needs. And that's something I always want to respect. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒก๏ธ WEEK 12 โ€“ ROOM CONDITIONS โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ The room continues to remain broadly stable around: ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Day temperature: ~26.5ยฐC ๐ŸŒ™ Night temperature: ~26ยฐC ๐Ÿ’ง RH: ~61% ๐ŸŒฑ Substrate temperature: ~25ยฐC ๐Ÿ’ฆ Nutrient solution: ~25ยฐC โš—๏ธ pH: ~6.02 ๐Ÿ’จ COโ‚‚: ~693 ppm ๐Ÿ’ก Light schedule: 12/12 ๐Ÿ’ง Irrigation: ~1.45 L/plant/24h ? Pot size: 15 L The important thing here is that the room remains the room. We're not changing everything because one plant is slower. We're maintaining the overall environment while paying attention to the individual responses. And Purple Haze Pheno B continues to tell us: "I'm good. Just give me time." ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œ Fair enough, girl. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒฟ DOING LESS โ€“ SEEING MORE โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ This is becoming one of the biggest themes of the 8ร—8 Adventure. Earlier in the grow, there was plenty to do. Training. Canopy management. Defoliation. Positioning. Adjustments. Decisions. Now? A lot of the job is observation. And I actually love that. Because when the plants are healthy and developing, you don't need to invent work. You need to pay attention. Look. Measure. Listen. Watch. And if something is needed... respond. Otherwise? Let the plant grow. Purple Haze Pheno B doesn't need me constantly touching her. She needs time. And she's getting it. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ’œ HER SISTER MAY BE FLYING โ€“ SHE'S STILL SHINING โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ This is probably the biggest thing I want to leave with everyone this week. Yes... Pheno A is absolutely flying. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ”ฅ Her flowers are becoming enormous. Her weekly changes are dramatic. She's moving incredibly quickly. But that doesn't make Pheno B less interesting. Quite the opposite. Pheno B gives us the comparison. She's showing us another expression. Another pace. Another architecture. Another flowering rhythm. And when you put both girls into the same room... that's when the experiment really comes alive. One says: "Let's go!" The other says: "Relax." ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œ And both are beautiful. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ”ฌ THIS IS WHY THE 8ร—8 ADVENTURE EXISTS โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ This is exactly why I wanted to run these plants together. Not to prove that one phenotype is better. Not to make every plant behave identically. But to watch what happens when different plants receive a shared environment. The room becomes our constant. The genetics become the variable. And the plants provide the answers. Purple Haze Pheno B is giving us a particularly interesting answer. She's smaller. She's slower. She's frosty. She's compact. She's beautiful. And she's completely herself. That's enough. More than enough. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ‘‘ THE LITTLE FROSTY QUEEN STILL DESERVES THE CROWN โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ Even without the photographs... I'm not taking the crown away from her. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘‘โ„๏ธ Because she continues to shine. She's not the biggest girl. She's not the fastest. She's not trying to compete. But she has her own presence. She has her own look. And when you know the plants well enough... you can spot her. You know her structure. You know her rhythm. You know that frost. You know that little compact personality. She's become recognizable. And that's one of the coolest parts of following a plant for twelve weeks. You stop seeing a label. You start seeing a personality. Purple Haze Pheno B. The little Frosty Queen. ๐Ÿ’œโ„๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‘ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ”ฎ WHAT COMES NEXT? More flowers. More resin. More evolution. And hopefully... more photographs. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ I'm going to keep looking. And if I find her missing photographs hiding somewhere inside the chaos of my folders... they're coming straight into this diary. But even without them, the journey continues. We'll keep watching her through the general room photographs. We'll keep watching the videos. We'll keep watching the plant itself. And most importantly... we'll let her decide her own pace. No rushing. No forcing. No pretending she's moving at the same speed as her sister. She's not. And that's perfectly fine. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ’ญ FINAL THOUGHTS โ€“ STILL SHINING WITHOUT THE SPOTLIGHT โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ Week 12. And Purple Haze Pheno B? She's still here. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œโ„๏ธ She's still beautiful. She's still developing. She's still frosty. She's still growing. She's still doing her thing. She's simply doing it at a slower pace than her sister. And this week... we somehow managed to forget her photographs. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ My apologies to everyone following her diary. And especially to the little Queen herself. If I find those photographs hiding somewhere in the endless folder jungle... I'll update this week. Until then, we have the general room photographs and the video showing the whole 8ร—8, where our little girl is still there doing exactly what she's supposed to be doing. And honestly? That's what matters. Because the plant doesn't stop being beautiful just because I forgot to take her portrait. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œ She's still shining. She's still evolving. She's still catching photons. She's still building flowers. She's still showing that beautiful frosty expression. And she's still giving us one of the most interesting contrasts in the entire room. Her sister is flying. Pheno B is taking the scenic route. But both are telling us something valuable. Same genetic family. Different expression. Same room. Different rhythm. Same photons. Different response. And that's the 8ร—8 Adventure. ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒฟโ„๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‘ So keep shining, little Frosty Queen. Take your time. Keep building. Keep doing your thing. We'll be watching. And next week... I promise I'll try to find the damn camera roll. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ™ THANK YOU โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ As always, thank you so much to everyone following the 8ร—8 Adventure. ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฑ Thank you to GrowDiaries for giving us the space to document these individual journeys and share these stories with growers around the world. Thank you to Zamnesia for the Purple Haze genetics and for giving us the opportunity to discover two such different expressions from the same genetic family. Thank you to Plagron for supporting the room with the growing media and nutrition throughout this adventure. A huge thank you to Future of Grow for supplying the additional Black Series 600W fixtures and allowing us to explore this expanded lighting setup in the 8ร—8. ๐Ÿ’กโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ Thank you to Lumiflora for helping bring additional light into the deeper and lower areas of the canopy. Thank you to TrolMaster for helping us monitor and manage the environment behind the scenes. And finally... thank you to everyone following along. Every comment. Every question. Every message. Every person stopping by to watch these girls develop. It genuinely means a lot. ๐Ÿ’š Even when I occasionally forget to photograph one of them... ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ This adventure continues to teach us something every single week. Twelve plants. One room. One shared environment. And twelve completely different stories. Purple Haze Pheno B is writing hers slowly. Quietly. Beautifully. And with plenty of frost. ๐Ÿ’œโ„๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‘ So let's give her the spotlight anyway. Let's let her shine. Let's let her take her time. Let's keep those photons flying. And let's see what this little Frosty Queen decides to show us next. And if I find those missing photographs... you'll be the first to know. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ’œ Growers Love, my friends. ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฑ See you next week in the 8ร—8 jungle... where one Purple Haze sister is apparently racing toward the future... while the other is still enjoying the scenery. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‘‘โ„๏ธ And honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was doing LST, and while bending the leg, I broke it at the very stem. supported with a small bamboo so that the fracture touches, is there any chance of loss?

Day 86 - Major training session on both ladies today. Things were getting too crowded with 4 photos (80+ days veg) and 2 autoflowers that both seem to have around a month left in them. Topped all upper branches and stripped most of the undergrowth, leaving only 2-3 nodes on every branch. Took me over an hour to do all four plants but in the end tings look much better in the tent. Now onto a hopefully short recovery on all plants. Day 89 - Both ladies are recovering from last training session. New growth is all lush and green. Very happy with both phenos of the Strawberry Chemdawg OG that I got. Remembering that I still got another bean makes me even happier!

Week 9 .......... Flower Week.........June 6 to 12, 2020 ........ Days 57 to 63 from germination She took a lot of shape this week and buds are swelling. She has reacted well with Massive and has increased her nodal spacing. Now she needs to work bulking up and filling in that spacing๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘ A little more leaf strip at the end of the week to let more light into the middle of her. Focussed on the leaves on the inside of her and left a number of the fan leaves on the perimeter of her to help with sugar production. Her hairs have never really been long but the buds are swelling in nicely. They started off a little small but have grown a lot wider in the last week.......as expected in week 9. Starting to see some possible nutrient issues forming as she is aging and some of her leaf tips are starting to curl down a bit. Red hairs have started so we should be less than three weeks to go and guess at roughly 2 weeks to go. Will be feeding next week but that might be the end......see what the week brings. Environment has been hovering at 79 degrees and 61 percent humidity for most of the week. Yeast and sugar CO2 in use. Still feel there is going to be trade off battling the pH issues of the pots by feeding her 4.5 water and feed. I have to keep it that low to have a runoff of 6.6pH๐Ÿคช๐Ÿคช๐Ÿคช๐Ÿคช๐Ÿคช Going to start letting the pH drift higher the next couple of days though and give a couple of waterings at 5.6 to ensure she is taking up enough phosphorus and potassium. The frost coming out on this girl now but she is a little slower coming on. Anticipate the last two weeks here should see good frost coming out. Have not even really looked at it too much yet to be honest. Changed up some of the supplements this week and added in some Advanced Nutrients Big Bud and Overdrive. Always liked Overdrive and when moving the bottles had more than I realized so figured I would change it up a bit......she is already fighting pH issues so no further harm. She is a very pretty little girl and she has beautiful shape. Not bending over her top seems to have been okay for this girl. Just keeping the side branches pulled apart so the light gets done the middle to bud sites๐Ÿ˜ƒ Nice work Sweet Seeds.....she is looking great so far.........freaking resilient dealing with pH so high!!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ Little more detail: June 6, Day 57 VPD - 1.2 3L feed - Big Bud, Vitathrive, Rezin, Liquid Weight, Velokelp, CalMag, Dual Fuel. 1150ppm and 5.0pH.......pH little higher today. Lots of runoff as fed late last night. Keep an eye to see the result of the higher pH. Colas more defined today. Standing up nice and looking thick today. Fairly green though so keep and eye on the nute levels. June 7, Day 58 VPD - 1.2 7L water - 285ppm and 4.4pH......checking pH in medium Runoff was 580ppm with 6.8pH Hairs are whiter now and buds are wider and stacking. June 8, Day 59 VPD - 1.2 Dry out day....... She is dark and bushy. June 9, Day 60 VPD - 1.2 4L Feed - Sensizym, Rezin, Vitathrive, Liquid Weight, Massive, Terpinator, Dual Fuel. 1150ppm and 4.2pH.......pulling down a little more since last runoff number. Fair bit of runoff from the feed. Starting to fatten up a bit more.....branches are looking larger. June 10, Day 61 VPD - 1.2 3L Feed - Overdrive, Rezin. 485ppm and 4.5pH Just some supplements and feed tomorrow. Her side branches are reaching up more and increasing the nodal spacing. Now she needs to fill that gap in๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘ Noticing a pattern with Massive and nodal spacing????? June 11, Day 62 VPD - 1.2 Dry out day....... June 12, Day 63 VPD - 1.2 4L Feed - Terpinator, Overdrive, Rezin, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Liquid Weight, Dual Fuel. 1380ppm and 4.5pH Hitting her and Sweet n Sour harder as they get closer to the end. She is 19โ€ tall now and 24โ€ wide Leaf strip to increase light penetration......lots of small leaves. Tricomb production getting going now. Nice little Cannabis plant๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

On September 26, 2026, I soaked the seed in rainwater at a temperature of 25.2 degrees Celsius for 6 hours. Afterwards, I planted it in moist potting soil in a small clay pot, about 1 cm deep, and placed it in a mini-greenhouse heated by a heating mat in a dark cupboard. Only the bottom of the mini-greenhouse was moistened with 100 ml of rainwater to create humidity. After another 60 hours, the seed germinated and was transferred to the grow box.

03/21/2021 All going well with the exception of the broken branch, but she is still looking healthy she(cutting) is in vermiculite and soil blend and soaked with Grow Rich 4-10-3 with IBA,to see if she roots. If not at least mother should have better buds with one less top. 1st video is at lights on, 2nd is just before lights out.

Welcome to week 2 of flower! They are all developing quite well. #1 is a little bit over watered I think and quite hard to LST since nodes are stacked up very close together. #2 is starting to get some yellow tips on top. I think/hope it's just a bit of light stress, since she is the tallest and was always a bit closer to the lights than the other two. #3 is growing very well, will get some LST today as well but due to the topping, she is a bit behind the others and just starting to produce white pistols, so for #3 , it's basically start week 1 of flower, not week 2 but it is what it is. Because of the light stress I didn't raise up the light intensity this week. Still at 35% of the Sanlight (~24DLI). Nothing else to say right now. I hope the yellow tips of #2 won't get worse, that #1 will push a bit harder and #3 just needs to stack up those pistols

RS11 x Banana OG - Barney's Farm x Doja Day 62 - watered with 2L of RO tap water with nutrients, ph'd to 6.3. She has started to stretch significantly and is approaching bloom - I'd say by the end of this week, her flower will start to show, as she has now been on a 12 hour light schedule for just over a week. I've removed a couple of nodes from her as well as a stem that wasn't progressing as well as the others.

Divine jelly has some really pretty leaves and some super thick stems. Some of the smaller branchโ€™s I cut off because the main 4 were so much taller and thicker. Ok structure But Iโ€™m looking for strains that stack a lot better

This week was good .plants are starting to get bigger . I keep getting little bites out of one or two leaves from the bugs but other than that it's not too bad .it is in soil though so as expected.Justin feeding it mainly some silica and root expander due to high PPM in the soil this is why I normally grow in coco . like I said last week instead of flushing it I'm going to just give it plain6.5ph water with root and silica . They seem to be happy and have no signs of burning or any stress they are a bit small but I think it's due to the genetic. Hopefully by the end of this year I would have bread some of my plants with a larger autos and get a bit better outcome next time . Thank you for looking at the diary and will be updating every week

Her buds are starting to fill in nicely, she is centered now with two nets and has the tent all to her self! Humidity has stabilized recently besides power surges in the room and power outage from a storm. Think it was from the dehumidifier I had in the room outside of the tent. Recently put a 4 pack of vivo sun 24 watt lights under the canopy to help prevent popcorn buds.

Strain: Chocolate Haze (Royal Queen Seeds) Medium: Coco bricks (Action budget bricks โ€“ hell yeah ๐Ÿ’ฐ) Light cycle: 12/12 from seed Grow Style: No training, no stress โ€“ just flow Grow Medium Prep: 500L of coco โ€“ never again in one go ๐Ÿ˜… The Kickoff ๐Ÿš€ This run started off wild and direct โ€“ no veg time, straight into 12/12 with Chocolate Haze. I wanted a quick turnaround and thought, hey, why wait? I germinated 14 seeds, hoping for at least 9 strong ladies. Ended up with 11 survivors โ€“ not bad! First few weeks were a bit chaotic: stretching due to low light (I tucked the seedlings under mature plants, which I do not recommend ๐Ÿ˜†), and the coco prep took way longer than expected. But hey, that's the game. Early Veg/Bloom โ€” Lessons Learned pH: Started a bit high; some light green leaves at first EC: Too low at 1.3 โ€” they weren't having it. Upped to 1.7 and then to 2.1 later Environment: New extractor dropped temps way down (25ยฐC vs my usual 30ยฐC). Thought it would help, but growth felt slower Coco quirks: They looked overwatered at times, but coco is tricky like that. Eventually, roots hit the bottom and they took off Around mid-March (3 weeks in), pistils showed up โ€“ officially the start of flower. I topped them once just before full bloom kicked in. Always a strange move, cutting healthy plants... but they bounced back beautifully. Nice and bushy now. Week 2โ€“5 Flowering ๐ŸŒธ These ladies are small but mighty. Not tall, but full of energy. The canopy is tight and even (except for one shorty), and they've been stretching like crazy โ€” classic sativa move. Had to raise the lights twice in two days. Iโ€™ll probably do some defoliation soon to slow things down a bit. Environment is now dialed in: Temp: 30ยฐC with lights on RH: Holding nicely in that humid sweet spot COโ‚‚: Set to 500ppm (passive mostly, no full-on enrichment) Feeding is now solid, color has recovered beautifully, and the buds are starting to form nice stacks. Iโ€™ve kept it low-stress โ€” no nets, no heavy training, just letting them do their thing. Observations & Setup Tweaks ๐Ÿ”ง Ventilation: Running the fan at just 30% now. Tent takes 18 seconds to vacuum seal, which tells me airflow is minimal โ€“ less COโ‚‚ loss. COโ‚‚ System: Minimal usage at 500 ppm. Iโ€™m not going all-out with gas bottles; itโ€™s just there as a buffer. Structure: These Chocolate Haze plants donโ€™t get tall, but they do fill out nicely. Perfect for a space where height is limited. Auto side note: One of the autos in the same tent is way taller, but less dense. Makes me appreciate the Chocolate Haze structure even more. Current Status (April 17) ๐Ÿ“† Weโ€™re deep into flower now โ€” week 5, and it shows. Buds are swelling and resin production is kicking in. Nothing major to report (which is kind of the point of this grow โ€” set and forget). Just a slight dry issue with one auto, which I adjusted on the Blumats. Besides that? Happy plants, happy grower. ๐ŸŒž Check the latest pics โ€” they speak for themselves. Final Thoughts (So Far) ๐Ÿ’ญ This Chocolate Haze grow has been chill, efficient, and surprisingly hands-off. The direct 12/12 schedule really works when you're going for a fast cycle with minimal hassle. And even though Iโ€™m usually more into hybrids, this sativa-dominant lady is winning me over โ€” the structure, the vigor, the smellโ€ฆ mmm. Now we wait for the real magic โ€” the last few weeks of flower. Trichomes incoming. ๐Ÿซโœจ Stay tuned for harvest updates โ€” itโ€™s gonna be sweet. Feel free to drop any questions or thoughts. Always happy to share the love for the plant. ๐Ÿ’š Peace
