Forbidden Fruit – Zamnesia Seeds | Germination & Early Growth Starting another grow diary with Forbidden Fruit from Zamnesia Seeds. The beginning has been smooth and straightforward, with the seedlings establishing themselves well and showing healthy early growth. So far, everything is progressing as expected, with no particular issues to report. Forbidden Fruit is a predominantly Indica strain (75% Indica / 25% Sativa), bred from Cherry Pie × Tangie. The combination of these genetics is reflected in its reported citrus, fruity and tropical aroma profile, with terpinolene listed as the main terpene. Compared with Sativa Fiesta, this one should have a more compact structure, with Zamnesia listing an expected indoor height of around 120 cm. The flowering period is estimated at 8–9 weeks, making it an interesting contrast to the more Sativa-dominant genetics in the grow. For this grow, I’m using Zamnesia Vegan Grow as the nutrient, together with the Zamnesia Ecosystem grow box, including its ventilation system. Lighting is provided by the Zamnesia Phytonaut LED 480W. At this stage, the focus is on establishing strong and healthy plants and observing how Forbidden Fruit develops as it moves through the vegetative phase. The reported genetics suggest a more compact Indica structure, so it will be interesting to follow its growth pattern throughout the cycle. **Strain:** Forbidden Fruit **Breeder:** Zamnesia Seeds **Genetics:** Cherry Pie × Tangie **Genotype:** 75% Indica / 25% Sativa **Type:** Feminized, photoperiod **Difficulty:** Moderate **Main terpene:** Terpinolene **Flowering time:** 8–9 weeks **Indoor height:** up to 120 cm **Outdoor height:** up to 160 cm **Reported THC:** up to 21% **Reported CBD:** 0–1% **Aroma:** Citrus, fruity, tropical **Reported effects:** Relaxing, soothing Grow setup: 🌱 Zamnesia Ecosystem Grow Box 💡 Zamnesia Phytonaut LED – 480W 💨 Integrated ventilation system Zamnesia Vegan Grow All the products used in this grow are available at www.zamnesia.com

Week 4:Got the new mammoth nova 720W light installed. Trying out the green spectrum. A few reviews said it has the ability to penetrate to the lower nodes because of the green. It’s definitely way hotter than my 300w Evo4 so having to adjust some things to manage heat. Outside temps 68-70 inside temps 75-77. I can get them down lower but have to open doors and keep fans at near max. Have it set at 8/10 at about 24 inches of height and so far adjusting well. Plants are starting to frost over and smells are mixed. 1/4 has a very skunky pheno the rest are way more pleasant and fruity. Excited to see the colors start to bleed through as the leaves are already showing signs of purple.

Day 15: Plants looking healthy as can be! I didn't make a rack for the lights but I got em in. Looks jankie, but I think its gonna work. 🙏 Day 16: Trying to work out kinks in my grow. Since I put the other 2 lights in, I'm now battling the heat and humidity. Switch the fans around. Got the cold air coming in down low. Will feed them in the morning. Day 17: The girls were showing signs of being thirsty this morning for sure! They received their first drain to waste watering. They will be getting some additional nutes on the next feeding (AN B-52, AN Sensizyme, AN CalMag Extra). Day 18: Looking amazing today! I tried my hand at a little LST. Wish the girls luck.!! 🙏 Tomorrow is the official 2 week mark from breaking ground. So, not sure. I've got the humidity finally dialed in at around 50-55% and the temp around 78°. Also gave them another drink as they were already dry about 1.5" down?? Day 19: This is the official 2 week mark. I think I stressed the girls pretty good yesterday, but they look to be recovered today. Should start seeing good growth in the day to follow. Will just be tucking a leaf here and there for a bit. I will being doing a straight water feed next with Great White. Day 20: Nothing new to report other than found 2 leaves that had some yellow mottling. I added Sensizyme, Recharge, and Great White to this feeding. Did not do drain to waste. Just watered the outside perimeter. PPM was 260 at 5.8 ph. Day 21: NO MORE NUTES for these girls! Tips on a couple of em are turning yellow!!! Stupid me. Over watering and giving too many nutes.

Welcome to my Lemon Orange Diary sponsored by Green House Seeds. Day 57-64 Week 9 She grew very well. Really healthy through pre flower & very happy to be high stressed. Kept up with Atami Bloom Stim until mid wk 9. And then I started pushing PK booster from plagron and made sure silica boost was given for the stress. Which helped the nodes not break as I HST'ed after pre flower, so there was no growth in the nodes to spring them back up. So the stems walls needed to be strong. And they were. Some naturally did rise towards the light. But not enough to point to rapid but stiffness back into the nodes upward growth, so it's important to have strong membrane walls. After pre fower was over, I cleaned her up also. Took 70% of everything, (defoliation that was done over 3 days.)The other 30% was removed during ripening as it had loads of (hat leafs) leafs surrounding the tops of the main buds blocking light to buds below. Plant has moved great through pre flowering. Very uneven nodes. And where the rest of where my plants where I needed this smaller. So early into week 9 I lollipopped were I knew the HST bend be everywhere below it was stripped. 90% of the nodes where HST'ed. Maintenance Summary 1:Start of wk 9.i lollipopped her, Everything below the planned HST points was removed 2:Defoliations were done in 3 stages. Removing big fan leafs once pre fower was over..I left more than I normally would as HST was in the same wk so I didn't wanna stress too much 3: HST'ed was applied and to make sure she kept a level canopy her nodes were tied down. 4: made sure the soil didn't dry up and was given silica to protect the nodes main membrane as the nodes would be moving for a wk r 2 until it stiffened during fattening. Thanks to my sponsor from Green House Seeds for this amazing strain. Looking forward to seen what other gems I get from my other GHS strains for this crop. Sorry for delays in diaries. I'm trying to catch up. All sponsored diaries are my priority. Thank you for your patience (sponsors)

Hello, I hope you're all doing well. I'll consider this week a complete failure. When I repotted my plants, I added mulch, but it was only 3 cm thick. As a result, my plants were miserable for four days because it was too thick. The soil was cold and remained very damp due to watering during repotting. It smothered the fallen leaves, some of which even turned yellow. It seemed like a magnesium and calcium deficiency and an unbalanced pH. I re-evaluated my approach and, most importantly, added a light layer of mulch. They've recovered well. It just goes to show that a small mistake can teach you something new every day. This week, I added: 2 g of Epsom salt: This powerful mineral is pure magnesium sulfate, one of the main components of chlorophyll produced by plants. It's a chelating agent: it allows the solubility of other substances (such as molasses, humic and fulvic acids, neem oil, and spirulina) and acts as a heavy metal sequestrant. 5 g of Micronized Wild Horsetail Spray: silica, defense 5 g Fish Hydrolysate: amino acids, proteins ppm 600 pH 6.5 Wishing you all a successful cannabis grow!

No problems this week, succeeded in restraining myself with the water input, and they really liked that, sadly leaves damages done 2 weeks ago due to over watering is showing spots and looks like it will turn necrotic soon, but new growth are undamaged and seems to support a good growth so far. I make sure she is not receiving too intense light radiation and fed a light feed of old timer grow and some Epsom salt. From the beginning of flowering she has developed light pink coloured trichomes, and now you can see them more and more , so pretty with flash on in the dark, Misty G shinning with pink hues, lovely!

Hi all, End of week 6 flowering, this week I noticed some of the plants seemed to have nutrient burn from overfeeding even though I had lowered the EC from previous run. So all the plants got flushed with 6.2 pure RO water and the run off measured 1.2 EC with 5.9 PH so I will give them a second flush in the coming week. Also the plants are becoming unstable due to the nicely forming dense fat nuggs so need to keep humidity under control to avoid bud rot and tie them up for support.. Happy growing, 💧 Watering: Every fith feed 🌡️ Temp: 24–28.5°C 💦 Humidity: 57% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.2 kPa 💡 Light: ~850 PPFD 💨 C02 900 ppm Ttfn Skuuly

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay! This week I raised the amount of phosphorus and potassium! And yikes! I went suuuuuuper high by mistake! I gave them (after pH and TDS checks) a total of 1968 ppm which I believe was just way too much for my babies 😬 gladly they barely showed some nutrient burn. With the exception of Boomer and Falcho, which both plants are still showing some chlorosis (better than last week tho) and I believe it's probably because of some sort of nutrient lock out or maybe the plant is just getting too old! You'll see from the photos how the plants developed after overfeeding them. They didn't wither 😱 or anything (and only some few leaves started to show some signs of nutrient burn) so I'm happy so far. I'll be more careful next week about this! Besides that big mistake everything went well. I kept removing dry/yellow leaves and taking care of my babies 👌 Thanks everyone for reading!
