Hey folks and welcome to my 2021 outdoor grow diary! I hope you guys enjoy my upcoming posts and see how these ladies will end up by october! Just to break down this years grow, I will be trying new grow techniques, as last year my plants turned out like bonsais, as always, organic grow using Promix HP and Gaia Green Organic Amendments, and watering with a mixture of molasses to feed the soil microbes. So my pops got his hands on some "local growers" clones of Kings Kush cash crop, apparently it is an 80/20 Indica hybrid with a THC average of 14-23%, the smell is suppose to be like musky, peppery Kush and taste the same according to the guy that sold him the clones. Tho, I wouldn't rely on the sellers credibility, all I know is that the strain is mold resistant which is a must in the GTA and is a strong plant and has been doing well for my pops indoor grow so far. I will keep you guys updated on how his batch turns out. So I got 4 of these clones ready by May 16th and transplanted them from a 1 gal to its final 15 gal fabric pots. With that, I used Promix HP and amended the 15 gal with 2 cups of Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4 with approximately 1 cup of Gaia green power bloom and mixed well into each 15 gal pot. (About 70/30 ratio @4tbs/gal of the mixture) After the transplant was completed, I started to water the plants with dechlorinated tap water pHed to 6.5 and gave each pot about 0.5gal each of water. My plans for the next watering is to introduce blackstrap molasses at 1tbs/gal of water to start supercharging the dormant microbes in the soil! I also have to add yellow sticky strips to keep an eye on pests such as fungus gnats and spray neem oil as a PM in the soil and plant.

💜 Week 6 – Purple CousKush Auto (Pheno B) Growing Without a Hurry One of my favourite lessons from this entire 8×8 Adventure has been learning not to measure success with a ruler. Some plants race toward the finish line, stretching with incredible determination. Others quietly settle into themselves, carefully building strength before revealing what they have planned. This Purple CousKush belongs to the second group. She's never tried to compete with her sisters. She simply grows at her own pace, never rushed, never stressed, never trying to be anything other than herself. And honestly... I wouldn't change a thing. 🌱 Plant Development Week 6 finds this beautiful lady standing at approximately 66 cm, making her one of the more compact Purple CousKush phenotypes in the room. While some of the other ladies have focused on vertical growth, she has invested her energy into creating a wonderfully balanced frame with sturdy branches and beautifully healthy foliage. The flowers are now beginning to establish themselves across every branch. Fresh white pistils continue appearing at every node, and although the buds remain small for now, their formation is wonderfully even throughout the canopy. One feature that keeps drawing my attention is her foliage. The leaves carry a rich, deep emerald-green colour that immediately speaks of excellent health. Even more interesting are the gentle curves at the tips of several leaves, almost as if they're curling a finger and inviting you to come a little closer. Every plant has its own little signature. Those playful leaves have become hers. 🌿 Environment & Growing Conditions This week brought another period of stable environmental conditions, allowing the plant to continue developing without interruption. • 12/12 light schedule from seed • Future of Grow Black Series LED delivering approximately 850 PPFD • Mammoth Pro grow tent • Day temperature around 29°C • Night temperature around 25°C • Relative humidity averaging 60% • CO₂ approximately 639 ppm • pH 6.0 • EC 1.78 mS/cm Despite the warm summer conditions, she continues showing exceptional health. Leaf colour remains vibrant, stems continue strengthening and there isn't a single indication that she's under any environmental stress. Sometimes quiet progress is still outstanding progress. 💧 Feeding Program Growing in a 15 L Plagron Lightmix container and hand-watered with approximately 1.1 litres per irrigation, she continues responding beautifully to the current bloom feeding schedule. This week's nutrient solution consisted of: • Terra Bloom – 1.9 ml/L • Pure Zym – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L The balance between nutrition and growth continues to be exactly where I want it. The rich green foliage, healthy new growth and consistent flower development all suggest she's receiving everything she needs without asking for anything more. No corrections. No chasing numbers. Just letting the plant do what she does best. 🌸 Phenotype Notes This phenotype reminds me that every seed carries its own personality. She's certainly not the biggest plant in the room, but she's far from the smallest story. Everything about her feels deliberate. Her internodes remain nicely spaced, the branching is symmetrical, and her compact stature gives the impression of a plant that's quietly preparing for the weeks ahead rather than trying to impress anyone today. Looking closely at the flowering sites, it's clear she's beginning to shift more energy toward bud production. Every branch carries clusters of fresh pistils, hinting at the shape she's slowly becoming. She's teaching patience. And patience has always been one of a grower's greatest tools. 🔍 Looking Ahead Over the coming week I expect the flowering sites to begin stacking more noticeably as the stretch gradually slows. The framework is already there. Now it's simply a matter of allowing time to do its work. With her healthy root system, vibrant foliage and naturally balanced structure, I'm excited to watch these small flower clusters slowly transform into properly formed colas over the next few weeks. She may never become the tallest plant in the room. But she may very well become one of the prettiest. 💭 Final Thoughts Plants like this remind me why comparisons rarely tell the full story. It's easy to admire the tallest plant or the fastest flowering phenotype. But there's something incredibly rewarding about watching a quieter plant confidently follow her own rhythm without ever looking unhealthy or unhappy. This Purple CousKush doesn't seem interested in racing. She's simply enjoying the journey. Healthy. Balanced. Elegant. Confident in her own timing. Sometimes the most beautiful gardens are built by plants that never felt the need to hurry. 🙏 Thank You A huge thank you to everyone following this 8×8 Adventure. Every comment, every question and every shared experience makes this journey even more enjoyable. A special thank you to the amazing companies helping bring this grow to life: 💜 Zamnesia for the incredible Purple CousKush genetics. 💜 Plagron for providing the nutrition that keeps these ladies thriving. 💜 Future of Grow for the outstanding Black Series lighting. 💜 TrolMaster for helping maintain a stable environment from start to finish. And finally, thank you to the entire GrowDiaries community. Whether you're here to learn, share your own journey or simply enjoy watching these phenotypes develop, I truly appreciate every visit and every conversation. Until next week... Growers Love and happy growing! 🌱💚

6.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 23 C and 58 % rh Light is at 22 inches and lowering a inch daily Thursday, April 9 Flower Day 4 Im seeing a little bit of hungriness out of Black Sugar 2 and one of its clones. Its either that or beginning of tip burn. I dont think its tip burn though. 6.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 23 C and 58 % rh Light is at 22 inches and lowering Sunday, April 12 Flower Day 7 To pinch new shoots in flower, or not? That is my question. I have been pinching them off on the clones and leaving them on the Mommas and Blue Gelatos. Whats your thoughts?

Day 69 flowering: The Peyote Critical is dry and ready to trim for her harvest Tonight. She smells very fruit punchy and a sample bud nearly gave me a " whitey" as i overdid it with the dosage. lol. I have taken the Hulkberry out too for drying ( has her own diary) and also the RQS Critical( 60g dried bud). This made space to move the other ladies around and under the full working light. I took the Liberty haze out today at 69 Days from flower start ( not flip!). She was definitely ready to come out and her colours up close are so beautiful She is huge and has at least 30 decent bud sites. I struggled to get photos of her in such a small space so had to hang her just to get her all in a shot. Her colas are big too , hopefully she will topple my biggest yielded plant at over 10oz. The utopia has all been moved under the stronger bulb now so hopefully will finish this week better. They are very oily and smell of diesel oil and fruit. Not sure they will yield too much thanks to duff bulb but they look amazing and i cannot wait to try a bud of it. The Laughing buddha's are finishing up nicely now. Sadly the stunted one wont yield much at all but smells so pineapple. Her bug sis in growcaps soil is a monster like the liberty Haze so with only 1 week odd left. she is right under the 600w duff bulb close. Fingers crossed all will be done by next week and harvest reports can begin.

Its been an amazing week, now i can understand why Carl Linneus was amazed about this miracle of blooming 🌸 Flowers are starting to grow everywhere, smell isn’t a big deal yet but my girls are just super beautiful 🤩 Colouring is homogeneous ☘️, only a single-couple of leaves showing a bit of nutrient deficiency/excess Critical is becoming literally twice the size of the cookies growing laterally but cookie’s branches are fatter, stronger and harder 💪🏼 Its been a long way but im proud of myself, very pleasant experience, its my first indoor grow and its almost scary how much i have learned ✍️🏼 LST shows an amazing structure and definitely not training your plant its the biggest mistake you can make 🏋️‍♂️ Unintentionally i applied a light cropping and the branches made the bulbs expected, don’t really know if it will show any gains

I brought a few bottles of good wine from Italy to celebrate the good harvests with friends. This evening, we'll be opening a nice Valdobbiadene prosecco to celebrate this harvest, which is a feast for the eyes: LA KUSH CAKE by Zamnesia - We're talking about a California-caliber strain in every way, beyond the name: resin, flower firmness, and a full Kush Mint style are all present and clearly visible, giving the buds a truly Californian feel. Only Snoop is missing because he's in Italy for the Olympics. We have spectacular dark foliage at the end that literally makes my eyes go crazy with joy; I couldn't stop taking pictures, I can't stop looking at the photo and video. The plant looks a lot like the Black Diamond in that magnificent dark phenotype I found, and also like an epic Runtz pheno I recently had, all documented in the diaries. If you want, have fun looking for them. I can't help but think of and mention the legendary King's Tart by Greenhouse, which was hybridized from LA Kush Cake, and when my friend Gabriele sent it to me for the first time, telling me it was special because it was hybridized with a super Californian... I'm truly embarrassed by its beauty, like when a beautiful girl talks to me and makes me blush. And I have to tell you, it's not even the best; there are two more epic ones on the way. Maturity - The pistils have looked super ripe for a long time, especially the top ones, which are very red, and we're still over 90%. The trichomes are roughly 30% amber, 50% cloudy/milky, and 20% transparent, more or less naturally, but I think it's perfectly fine; it looks super ripe. The flowers are all of the highest quality, and the yield is average. They aren't giant, but they are firm and very firm. The overall shape of the plant is truly splendid. It was harvested correctly at the right time, naturally. Techniques chosen: As mentioned, the plant was left to grow freely and beautifully. We went 100% organic and 1000% Plagron, as always. The soil we chose is the recently launched Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us to start with more gradual and reliable watering, without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. A week of soil is sufficient, so don't overdo it. Choose your favorite style and calculate your results on the website: www.plagron.com Visit the new Growshop area on the Zamnesia website: Z - https://www.zamnesia.io/it/531-growshop An excellent strain, excellent yields, compact buds, and excellent resin! Smells like heaven! Our L.A. Kush Cake looks fantastic, try it! Z - https://www.zamnesia.io/en/11097-zamnesia-la-kush-cake-semi.html Z - Want to take your growth to the next level? Now you can with Zamnesia's LA Kush Cake. Originally bred by Seed Junky Genetics from a Wedding Cake and a Kush Mints, this indica-dominant strain produces large quantities of resin-coated buds, rich in sweet terpenes and a relaxing effect. LA Kush Cake seeds produce stocky plants that thrive in any environment. Indoors, they require only 8-9 weeks of flowering to produce dense, trichome-rich buds with a pine-like structure and very compact calyxes. Outdoors, LA Kush Cake can be harvested in early October. Plants produce up to 600 g/m² indoors and 850 g/plant outdoors. In the right conditions, LA Kush Cake can develop intense purple hues that accentuate its allure. As you open the jars of these buds, you'll notice a wave of pungent vanilla terpenes wafting through the air, balanced by spicy notes of pepper and mint. Whether you smoke or vape, you'll be instantly intoxicated by its distinctive flavor, with a velvety, creamy aftertaste followed by a powerful yet functional high. Enjoy a relaxing effect that will melt away any tension while keeping your mind clear: perfect for unwinding, enhancing intimacy, or simply enjoying a pleasant smoke. If you need to stay focused, you can: LA Kush Cake relaxes the body while leaving the mind clear and focused, making it the ideal choice for experienced smokers seeking a dynamic and active euphoria that lasts all day. Want to try a potent, productive, and delicious strain? Don't wait: buy LA Kush Cake seeds now and start growing her premium buds at home. You know it, but I recommend it: here you'll find so many wonderful things, practically "all the best nature has to offer." Here we are in week six of flower and not a lot has happen this week other than the usual watering and letting her do her thing. Only trouble this week was updating GoPro had to try a few times. Other than that we got some rain in my home town and collected about 60 gallons that I'm going to use to finish the rest of the grow. Also, got my new AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, Quiet Inline Duct Fan System with Temperature and Humidity Controller, 4-Inch. I was really hoping this two plants would finish before the year ended, however, it looks like they got others plans. See you guys next week.
