We are officially in flower mode, folks! Switched to 12/12 for my photoperiod (the OG Glue), while the autos have already started pre flowering the week before. Got the scrog net set up to manage the incoming stretch, and plan to defoliate a bit the next week. Wasn't able to get a good picture for this week as I was out of town, so used a timelapse video instead.

Did defoliation as usual and a little lollipoping. Did 2 complete refills of the reservoir, ph stayed stable for 1 day after the exchange but then super unstable again. Dropped the EC with the second refill to 1000 to see if it stays stable. Ori is going good, already looking frosty, NL#2 is comming aswell, NL#1 not so much.

Week 4: Vegetative Growth Brrrrrr🤧 It’s been a really cold week for this time of year so far—just under 15 degrees during the day and between 6 and 8 degrees at night. It’s supposed to stay this way for a few more days. But the Gelato is doing great anyway.💪 The temperatures don’t seem to bother her, even though her growth has slowed down a bit... at least that’s how it seems to me. Still, I’m very happy... and she’s also starting to give off a little scent.😍

What's interesting to me is seeing the big difference in the SSH, the 2 previous girls I had were veracious growers, 3 1/2 days of germination and they had a tap root longer than an inch! This one is not so aggressive and has stronger sativa genetics, thin not phat. The others have been doing well, no pest yet which I'll be doing a bleach wipe down of my side of the garage to reduce the chances of an invasion. ~Note~ I'll be updating later this week with a short vid showing the progress. Repotted her from the 4,4L pot into a much larger, 20L pot using only the pre-fertilized growmix from Floragard. Adjusted the amount of nutrients since she's in early flowering phase right now. Continuing LST as she develops new branches and therefore attempting to extend her over the whole pot width and beyond, trying to get the maximum amount of mainbuds. Also bought a dehumidifier (Comfee MDDN-10DEN7) since theres too high humidity for her in flowering phase; especially because there is low airflow and no window in that tiny room (we peaked at 70-80% humidity at night, at ~20°C, before!). We set it up to be in 60% humidity right now.

Week 10 brought on a wave of maturity. The plant is clearly in her final chapter - the fade has intensified, but it's graceful and expected. Buds are swelling, the scent profile has deepened, and structure remains solid and symmetrical. 💛 Yellowing & Defoliation I removed a fair number of yellowing fan leaves this week. Most came off effortlessly, the stems giving way with a gentle pull. The yellowing has crept upward slightly, but no signs of distress or runaway deficiency. It's senescence - and it feels like the right time. 💧 Feeding & Watering This week I broke my usual rhythm and fed twice in a row, both times at full strength, which the plant handled perfectly. The yellowing seemed to halt afterward - no fresh tip burn, no clawing. Nutrient mix (per 2L water): 3.5 mL Micro 3.5 mL Grow 5.0 mL Bloom (PH’d to 6.43 using hard tap water) On Day 70, she was visibly dry, so I gave her 2L of plain pH 6.43 water. She drank it eagerly - dryback is getting quicker as the buds pull harder now. 🌿 Aroma & Structure She's putting out a layered, sweet-and-spicy scent - cookie dough, citrus peel, pine, and a warm touch of cardamom. Colas are dense, resin-heavy, and impressively uniform. The trellis net came off this week to open up the canopy and prepare for harvest. 🧠 Harvest Considerations According to Zamnesia’s specs, she could be ready around now - but visually and chemically, she’s still not there. I'm aiming for a harvest on Day 80 (July 24), just before I leave. Someone else will handle the chop shortly after I leave for vacation. The trichomes were still mostly clear at the end of this week, with no amber visible yet - but we’re watching closely. I’m not chasing heavy amber, just looking for that sweet spot of peak cloudy with a touch of amber for depth.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t react immediately, so the ladies were without water again for a few hours. I’ve ordered a TrolMaster program device and additional sensors AMP-3 for pH, EC and humidity, and temperature control. No more messing around! Water consumption is gradually decreasing, and electrical conductivity of the water is slowly rising. I’m starting to reduce the strength of the nutrient solution. Each subsequent tank refill will be at approximately 1.0EC.
