Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

Finally started blooming! Hope the main-lining baby will folow others, loooks a bit scanty now.

I said!! it's huge ready for flowering!! one week to change the light schedule to 12/12 I've already lost count of the toppings I've made. I will always take some of the bottom leaves out. that no longer catch light and only waste energy. I water every two days. small quantities and One feeding per week. I make adjustments whenever necessary. I also don't spend a lot of nuts as long as she doesn't really need food as in flowering. you will realize soon

The weather is suddenly getting pretty cold outside so I have to take the plant inside so she can sleep in a warm place. The next few days should get warm again Found a bug on my plant on Sept. 24th, think they might be thrips After removing the bug I sprinkled the plant with a rape oil and water solution

Day 28 Flowering: Good afternoon growmies. I hope we are all well and sane while this world silliness plays out. Here we are at the fun side of growing again. The stretch is well finished and they are now beginning to stack the colas on their long stems. Six-shooter has remained fairly small and is not a very attractive looking girl at all. lol A bit like the spotty teen about to emerge the butterfly I am hoping !.. She is a really odd looking girl with a scruffy appearance even after a little defol. She looked underwatered in veg a few times too but was not the case. She has a really sticky build up of resin already and smells quite strong of urine.lol I think she will be a late bloomer but not dissapointing. Strawberry Pie is looking huge and lanky now her stretch has done. Her node lengths are a little wider than I had hoped but I get the impression she will still join them up for some very long colas. Her trich build up has started already and is very productive too. Sticky fingers that smell of sweet fruity candy at the moment. She is around a foot tall with lots of room to swell and get air around her frame too. Mexican Airline is the star of the bunch right now, she is huge already. Her bud stacking is really beginning to take form and with the size and amount of them, she will be a great yielder. She has filled her space nicely now and will benefit once I harvest some other the other plants i have running. The potential for the two bigger ladies to gain plenty of size is certainly there and without me doing the l.s.t early on in veg , I think they would be very tall plants . The attempt i made to try to tie the 5th node up while the others caught up was beaten by her determination to keep growing it and even after I totally bent and created a knuckle to again try to hold her down , she powered herself through and carried on with her plans for the flowering cycle.... It did help to create a nice crown of Buds though which should fill our rje whole structure of her. Feeding every 2 days and showing no issues to worry about besides a slight tip burn which is down to the pk warrior strength. A decrease in dilution will sort this quickly. The Fungus gnats are now under total control , by this I don't meant have started training them to do aerial displays like the "Red Arrows" or fly patrols of the grow room but that they are no longer an issue. Still the odd one of two to keep mindful of but the sticky traps are a help too. So there we have it for this update. All going well and the harvest date is not so far away now.. Be well and safe.

Seems I told a lie last week, I'm late one day and I've done videos again cos again 🤥 Its been a good week for bud production regardless of a hiccup this week which shows as cal/mag and nitrogen deficiencies throughout each plant🤒 My ph pen malfunctioned and I ended up feeding them all 4.5 and didn't notice till the leaves told me 🍂 The ph pen has been replaced, amendments made to buffer the root zone and fingers are crossed 💉🤞 Super stinky grow this, going to replace my carbon filter before starting a new one because I caught wiffs of them when I entered my home today. Today I went through the plant and removed as many old dead leaves as I could along with any shade leaves that were yellow. 9/10- I checked the GG4 Sherbet FF's trichomes today and they are getting very close, and I anticipate that she will be ready in the next few days! There's another week of flowering done for the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and she is just about ready to be harvested which will, from the looks of her trichomes, will be in the next 4-5 days... Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. This plant has a solid stench of pure ripe lemons. So much aroma and color in every bud, purples, to dark green, to lime green, to solid frost. This one definitely a fun strain to watch grow and tend too for the last few months. She’s definitely a hungry girl, seemed to be the only strain out of the three that accepted and thrived with full feed nutrients. Would definitely recommend this Strain to someone For a nice uplifting day smoke, also seems to do me good for some pain and stress relief.

🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. This part of the process — the cure — is where the soul of the flower truly comes to life. ☀️ UV, Reds & The Perfect Run Part of what made this run so special was the precision in light spectrum. 40% whites, full reds, UV and IR, and the girls responded like royalty. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. All of it under ThinkGrow Model Ones powered through the Trolmaster ecosystem — everything syncing in harmony. This run was stable, lush, expressive — a grower’s dream. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. My main issue its yellowing of the wedding cake. think i as to do with the cold weather as she is the close to the door. I allso burned then a litle with the foliar.
