Ending week 6 of flower now. Some of the plants are yellowing. Not sure if it’s too much or not enough nutrients. PH has been measured for a while now and is on. Either way, I’m thinking it’s too late to try to correct. Buds are developing nicely and there should only be a few more weeks to go now. Basically just trying to make sure no catastrophes happen in the next few weeks. Suggestions always more than welcome! Thanks for taking a look.

Well this one is also speeding along at a rapid rate! It's getting close. I'm very excited to see what she weighs as you can clearly see I had to add a rope to keep the cola from falling over. Hope you enjoy & check back again next week! Thanks for taking a look at this diary!

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. Did a smell check of the resin and found that Plant #1 smells of Sweet Mandarin Orange. Plant #2 smells like a freshly washed Sweet Carrot right out of the garden. Plant #3 smells like a average Sweet Round Orange. I'm hoping plant #1 have big, dense, strong smoking, buds. Love that smell. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

🌿 Week 4 – Vegetative Stage Strain: Permanent Marker (Zamnesia Seeds) Project: Dognabis Cup Example Grow 🌍 ⸻ 💚 Growth Before the Flip The girls are still in veg, but they’re showing such strong, pre-flower-like development that it almost feels like they’re ahead of schedule. Internodal spacing is tight, leaf formation is elegant, and both phenos (PM#1 and PM#2) remain incredibly similar in structure, color, and vigor. They have a compact yet big presence, lush canopies with balanced symmetry. The consistency in these genetics is impressive, and they’ve kept their health spotless from the start. ⸻ 📸 Studio Shots This week, we brought them into the studio to capture their beauty one last time before they transition to flower. Deep greens, perfect leaf serration, and textbook node formation, they’re looking ready for the big stage. ⸻ 💧 Feeding – No Change in Recipe We continue with the same nutrient schedule as before: • Start Booster – To encourage strong root systems and microbial support • CalMag Boost – To ensure no deficiencies and strong cell walls • Regulator – For nutrient uptake efficiency and plant resilience • pH: ~6.1 • Feed EC: ~0.6 (pellets in the soil are still doing a lot of the work) This consistency is key, we want them steady and strong going into the flip. ⸻ 🌿 Environment & Measurements • Air Temp: ~31°C (slightly high, AC unit arriving soon to improve this) • Humidity: ~50% • CO₂: ~700 ppm • Soil Temp: ~25°C • Watering: ~1.5–2.0 L/day, triggered at ~25% soil dryness • Soil EC: ~2.0 (nutrient balance remains ideal) • PPFD: 760–780 µmol/m²/s, with natural variation due to untrained growth pattern ⸻ 🎓 Why the Data Matters Tracking PPFD, soil EC, dryness, temperature, and CO₂ isn’t just technical, it’s about reading the plants. These numbers help anticipate issues before they show visually, fine-tune growth rates, and ensure optimal conditions for the flip. ⸻ 👑 The Queen Awaits Permanent Marker remains one of the most exciting modern strains, a new-school heavy-hitter with legendary parentage (Biscotti x Jealousy x Sherb Bx). As an example grow for the Dognabis Cup, these plants are showing exactly what careful, consistent cultivation can achieve. ⸻ 🔮 Next Week: The Flip This is the last week of vegetative growth. The next stage will see the girls officially move into flower, where we expect explosive bud site development and that unmistakable Permanent Marker frost. For now, we enjoy the sight of healthy, happy queens, calm before the floral storm. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Another week in Fat Yappa's Garden comes to an end with all the plants still doing well. The Bruce Banner which I snapped the stem just above the second node from the top is pretty much ready for the chop, the other two more mature plants are not too far behind, a week at most, and the Bruce Banner runt has pretty much caught up with her slightly older sisters. The Wedding Cheesecake growing in Canna Coco, which still towers above everything else in the tent at pretty much the same height as the lights, despite her tallest being bent over by LST has developed quite a lot of bud sites but not nearly as chunky as the Bruce Banners, and has started to fade with yellows and purples in the leaves and pistons. Her sister, growing in living soil is probably the furthest behind in the grow but seems to be developing a bit more like the Bruce Banners, and I put this down to the pot of the Coco Coir I used being round and much narrower than the other five, square Viviosun smart pots I used which was a bit of a fail for the LST, especially when combined with the rapid rate this plant took of at, where as I think the other was perhaps stunted a bit by being germinated in a coco coir pellet then placed in soil. I think I will try a peat pellet next time I grow in living soil and see if that improves it. The plants have remained on there same water schedule but I have noticed the more mature plants taking much less water. The most mature plant could probably go three days on 2.5l now, where as a week or two these plants had 2.5l daily over two days and then began to slow down again. I have kept the PH between 6.5 and 6.8 as I read its better for flowering to aim for the higher end of the range, especially when growing with dry amendments. Day 66 saw another compost tea, the same recipe as previously but this time I increased the bat guano from 1 to 2 tablespoons. Other than that I have continued to defoliate once a week, opening up light to the canopy and tried to open it up with a tightening of the LST ties. Stress in regard to the different stages of plant development increase as Harvest nears, as I was previously envisaging me drying in the tent and cutting the plants in a oner, but I have order a ThermPro TP50, and the rest is next weeks problem. Happy Growing one and all, thanks for following my grow and I look forward to updating you all again next week

I finally decided to cut my losses and focus on just one plant. It's time to go all-in on my "one plant, one light" goal. It feels kinda scary, but I'm also really excited to see how much attention this plant's gonna get. Pretty sure I kept a pheno that is going to be huge My Pound Cake plant's leaves are looking awesome, just like the pictures online. It's growing so fast, it's almost doubled in size in the past week. I'm really excited to see how big it gets by the end of its life. I messed up last week and overwatered my Pound Cake plant. It got really droopy and sad-looking, but luckily it's starting to perk up again. Definitely a lesson learned about keeping a closer eye on things.

FBT2309 had a little ph issue this week. She got a few spots on the look leaves from it. I have corrected the issue. Organo mineral nutrition is a lot more difficult to do in a hydro application. I am doing my best to try, and control it. I believe my nutrition is a bit too strong. Besides that she is growing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She should start stretching soon. Which is good she is quickly loosing space from the flowering plants around her. She has been trained and is ready to start another week. A quick check up and they're doing well. Some growth so that's a good sign. Some little bastard animal (mole I assume) made a few holes around my girls. I made sure to put some fluid in them as I was peeing. Then stuffed them with rocks, dirt and a thick branch. Hopefully they're not too interested and I don't have an animal having a root party

FBA2505 is in the mist of bulking. She has about 2 weeks left. She has some nice purple colas on her. She has a piney, sweet, citrus smell. This plant has been through hell. From root rot to a bad ph pen was my latest discovery. She is turning out good for the issues I had. The girls started to pre-flower on the 6th of June. They all have a slight smell when you rub the leaves. Kosher cake, Strawberry banana and the Forbidden runtz have a sweet smell to them. The Forbidden runtz reminds me of the smell of skywalker OG which is totally LUSH..!! The blackberry has more of an deep earthy smell with a slight bit of fruitiness. Super excited for the next few weeks with these ladies. Happy toking my peeps 😁
