This week #2 has slowed down on the water intake quite a bit, I think its getting close. Took a vid of the trichomes and i can see a couple of amber ones here and there on the calyxs, so hopefully just another week or 2 max. I took the top off it on day 83 as it was getting too hot as it was right nest to the bulb. I will add it into the total harvest weight at the end. Other than that its been very simple, just a little foxtailing as it's a bit warm in there. #1 is now finally budding along! It got way too tall for the tent, and I had to remove the carbon filter in the end and put it on the other end of the ducting to lift the light a few inches. I attempted to supercrop fairly heavily and it definitely helped a lot, even on the branches where it didnt go so smoothly.... AsNoriu was right, it was slowly devouring itself from the bottom up. Got some new nutes and some colour has come back into the leaves. Overall, I have learned not to leave it too late to tie down the plants. Stretch is a real thing haha.

Veo que van muy poco avanzadas para llevar ya dos semanas a 12/12 (no sé si por poca luz o algunos errores que cometí) Le eché el estimulador de floración demasiado tarde por interpretar mal la tabla de nutrición, mejor dicho por no seguir la correcta. Estuvo varios días muy cerca de la luz con lo que se pudieron estresar. Le estoy temiendo a la altura, ya que han estirado más de lo que preví en principio, quedándome muy poco margen de error. A unas malas tendré que ingeniármelas doblándolas hacía abajo o algo. El punto positivo es que estoy controlando mejor la humedad. A pesar de todo seguiré dando lo mejor para que salga lo mejor posible 💪🏼

Dealing with some high temps during the day at the moment. Meaning my lights off temps are higher than my lights on temps due to running the light during night time. Plants seem to be dealing well despite temps hitting 30+C. Going to give another boost of PK this week, again at half strength.

Week 2 - Vegetation | Purple Haze Pheno B Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from the 12/12 From Seed adventure. This week we turn our attention to Purple Haze Pheno B, the younger sister of the two Purple Haze phenotypes currently growing in the tent. While Pheno A has begun establishing a noticeable lead in overall development, Pheno B continues progressing steadily and confidently at her own pace. The difference between the two plants is becoming increasingly visible, but it is important to remember that they are not developing under exactly the same circumstances. A small age gap combined with additional time spent in a smaller starter container can make a surprisingly large difference during these early stages of growth. Despite being slightly behind in overall size, Pheno B is showing all the signs of a healthy and successful start. This week the plant continued building structure and is now working on her second pair of true leaves. Growth remains steady and consistent, with new development appearing every day. The leaves display a healthy green coloration, and the plant maintains a compact profile with good spacing between growth points. One of the most enjoyable aspects of documenting multiple phenotypes is seeing how differently each individual expresses itself, even when grown under identical environmental conditions. While Pheno A seems eager to race ahead, Pheno B appears content taking a slightly more measured approach. Neither strategy is necessarily better than the other. At this stage, health and steady progression matter far more than size alone. The transplant from last week appears to have been accepted successfully, and the plant is now focusing energy on both root establishment and above-ground growth. As the root system continues expanding into the larger volume of substrate, we expect growth rates to increase naturally over the coming weeks. The overall structure remains neat and symmetrical, and the plant presents itself with healthy posture throughout the day. There are no major concerns at this stage, only the quiet and steady development that often lays the foundation for strong future performance. One of the most valuable lessons in cultivation is learning not to compare every plant against its neighbors. Sometimes the fastest plant in Week 2 is not the most impressive plant at harvest, and sometimes the quieter, slower starter surprises everyone later in the run. For now, Pheno B is doing exactly what she should be doing—growing healthy, building roots, and preparing for the next phase of development. Overall, this has been another positive week for Purple Haze Pheno B. She may be the smaller sister for now, but she remains healthy, vibrant, and full of potential. The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Into the second week of flower and have not seen much stretch in these girls yet. All are showing pistils, I am defoliating a lot to maintain an even canopy. Girls received their first compost tea and a good top dressing of malted barley. Pistils development is continuing strong. Looking forward to some more stretching They ended their week really good, flowering is slowly getting there. Still haven’t seen much stretch from these. #2 is noticeably shorter thus far, with #1 showing the most flower development

As I mentioned above these plants were stunted, not one but all 3 which I found as consistently odd, however, I still got a small number of amazing buds, and the main colas were very chunky, with great terpenes of Cream, Sweet, Berry, Vanilla, looking forward to the smoke report.

Единственное что меня беспокоит, это то что свет отключали три дня подряд. Во вторник не было света 5 часов, в среду не было света 40 минут, а вчера 4 часа. Как мне сказали было какое то повреждение в кабеле. Надеюсь это ни как не скажется на моей девочки и она не поменяет пол)))) Хотел добавить информации о свете. Большая лампа 3500K, маленькая 5000K, мощность стоит на 50%. На цвет добавлю еще одну большую или на 3500K, или на 3000K. Полил ( 786 ppm) -3л Carboload - 2мл/л 36 день веги Полил ( 702ppm )- 3л Carboload - 2мл/л; B-52 - 2мл/л 38 день веги Видео бонус:)) моего прошлого грова. Сорт называется The New Feminised от компании Humboldt. Сорт очень не плохой, шишки не большие но очень плотные. Недостатком этого сорта я бы назвал нестабильную генетику. То есть, из купленных в одно и тоже время, и в одном и том же банке семян, были получены как очень хорошие растения, так и очень плохие. Не смотря на это, в будущем я с удовольствием еще раз их приобрету обязательно. Кстати, вы заметили кольца(хамуты) на стебле, они были сделаны за 3-4 недели до сбора урожая. Кто бы что не говорил, кольцевание работает. Следующие фотки и отчет думаю сделать через неделю. Раньше не вижу смысла.

Monday Gave her some enzyme, I think it's supposed to help the plant break down nutrients so we'll see. I'm exactly 70 days from seed, 63 days since I transplant it to the 10 gallon pot, it should be a 10 week auto flower so I'm hoping I'm close to harvest. The flowers are really starting to turn purple now, I suspect its a sign that it's finishing, looks really cool close up! Tuesday No work done today, dry day. I think the buds are ripening, that purple is really starting to come out right across the canopy, can wait to see what it's like right before cutting 😀 Wednesday Gave her 5l of water with 5ml of plagron pure enzyme, I'm checking the trichromes under a glass every day now to try catch the right time to harvest, the buds are so frosty, still clear trics I thunk. Thursday Dry day today, its very nearly finished, trics are stating to turn Amber, I reckon I will give it a week more, maybe less and then I'm cutting! Friday Just clean water today, nearly at the point of cutting! Saturday No work done today, tomorrow is the last watering, its going into 2 days of darkness and then I'm cutting, so much work now so close! Sunday OK, so I think I've given it the last watering, I've just turned off the light and I'm going to leave it in complete darkness for 48hrs, then it's cutting time! 😀 I'm going to hang the plant whole, I'm only going remove some of the bigger fan leaves then dry trim, I've read that it's better that way, we'll see

Things seem to be progressing well overall, buds are fattening up nicely and you can clearly see pistils gradually turning brown with more and more trichomes appearing. The smell situation is interesting: not much odor around the tent itself, but when I open it up you definitely get that classic Northern Lights smell, very piney and earthy. It's not overwhelming yet but it's there. Now the bad news: as you can see in the photos, she's self-pollinated. I'm seeing the first seeds forming in some calyxes. I'm hoping it's just a few and won't impact the harvest too much, but in the worst case I'll just use the whole crop for hash. The hermie issue from previous weeks finally caught up with me. Environment has been pretty stable this week. Temps sitting around 21-24°C during lights on, dropping to high teens at night (sometimes hitting 17°C). Not ideal but the NL genetics are handling it fine. Humidity has been bouncing between low 40s and mid 60s with one spike to 66%, probably from watering and humidifier refill. VPD has been in the 1.0-2.0 kPa range most of the week, which is acceptable for mid-late flower. PPFD stayed steady around 640 during lights on, and CO2 is just ambient as usual with the typical spikes here and there. Feeding this week was a bit all over the place as I'm trying to find the right balance. On Mon 13th I gave her 1.5L with full bloom feed: Bio-Bloom, Bio-Grow, Top-Max, CalMag, SUPERthrive and Acti-Vera at pH 6.30 and EC 0.95 mS/cm going in. Runoff came out at EC 0.93 mS/cm and pH 6.11, so pretty clean. On Fri 16th I went lighter with just 1.5L of Alg-A-Mic (3 ml/L) and CalMag (0.3 ml/L) at pH 6.16 and EC 0.26 mS/cm, didn't get any runoff that time. Then today (Sun 19th) I ramped it back up with 1.5L of the full mix: Bio-Bloom (4 ml/L), Bio-Grow (4 ml/L), Top-Max (4 ml/L), CalMag (0.5 ml/L), SUPERthrive (0.27 ml/L), Acti-Vera and Alg-A-Mic at pH 6.20 and EC 1.60 mS/cm. Runoff came back at EC 1.70 mS/cm and pH 6.20, so the medium is holding a bit more salts than what I'm putting in but nothing crazy. Visually she looks healthy apart from the seed situation. Leaves are a nice green with no signs of deficiencies or burn. The buds are stacking well and frost is definitely coming in on the sugar leaves and bud tops. Structure is still tight and compact with all the main tops sitting at roughly the same height. Overall I'm cautiously optimistic. The hermie/seed issue is a bummer but as long as it doesn't get out of control I should still get a decent harvest. She's bulking up, staying healthy, and handling the cold temps without drama. Winter is here but she's not impressed, just keeps on growing.

So here we go! Another start to something special and another grow off! Always fun. Anyways we have two Pablo's that both popped up through the soil and are on their way. I'm very Interested in seeing how well these genetics perform. They definitely came a long way from overseas so let's see how well the foreign competition is 😉. If their on GD I'm sure they're fire.

It’s day 33’from seed. All of the plants are really healthy. The plants have a really great root system at this point… I am currently slowly moving the light intensity up to the veg area. Now that are in a groove they are about to explode… I’m hoping I can flip the plants to flower in 1 weeks but I’m thinking I will wait to weeks and let them get a little larger. The plants are just now starting to look visually different next weeks update I will be ababoe to go into the visual differences, they are just not that extreme yet to really talk to much about.
