Good morning, today is day 36 of veg and the start of week 6. As you can see the ladies got transplanted into their final 10am fabric pot homes! These ladies like it a bit cooler and more humid so I’m still keeping vpd at .9 with the temps maxing out at about 77! I also needed to bump up watering - they ran through a half gallon super quick so I went to a gallon and they needed it every 3 days ! Still sticking to my every other watering of fish shit and silica! Still a few weeks of veg to go, mainlining slows down the process and I need to fill the canopy horizontally before I start to let them grow taller and after that flip!

Hey Growmies, I have been a Bit Late but here we go… they are getting a lot lot of buds.. Looks pretty cool. The mendo guava stretched too much, after topping she did another main stem.. and kept growing. Never had before. See last picture. But all in all very satisfied with da champions

High temperatures, high transpiration, high turgor pressure, and lots of cell elongation. Cannabis plants can sense and respond to their surroundings. They don't have brains like humans, but they have evolved sophisticated ways to perceive and react to various environmental cues, including light, gravity, touch, water, sound, and even the presence of other plants. This ability, known as plant perception, allows them to adjust their growth, defend themselves, and even communicate with each other. Infrared light, particularly near-infrared (NIR), can influence plant growth and development by impacting various processes including initiation and elongation. UVB radiation inhibits stem and hypocotyl elongation in plants. Moderate UV-B exposure can cause a decrease in stem and leaf elongation, leading to a more compact plant architecture. Higher UV-B intensities, like 7.5 kJ·m−2, can lead to reduced elongation. So it becomes a dance of initiating a stretch to seek to higher ppfd, then whenever you want the stretching to slow down,UVB inhibits the stretch by altering hormone balance,, coupled with the high-intensity dli once you get her to a height where you want. Being autos I don't have much time to play around. So we are playing fast and loose, get stretched, and then spread her open. You get the idea. 86F 30% RH with the lower side of optimal on ppfd, with a smudgering of infra-red to initiate response of making her stretch more so than normal. Once she sprouts up in height, I drop metrics to 77F 55%RH% while upping the ppfd, giving her a dash of extra 430nm, giving the grow more of a 6000K. This encourages denser growth with less elongation. Higher side of optimal PPFD, with the auxin hormone balance changed, the side stems are starting to shoot up to the same canopy level as the apex (almost). Normally takes me 2 untrained toppings before a plant will flatten its canopy. I didn't take enough off the apex to do it in one chop, it was only day 10, so there really wasn't much to top from without creating unpredictable results using fim, opted just to keep it to a clean topping. Even predictability over the Chaos of the"Fim". Brainfart: Remember, the veg stage creates the skeleton that will stretch out into flowers. How dense you create the skeleton through light intensity will determine the density of your clusters as they form cola, as long as you can keep up with the demands. Increasing light intensity generally leads to plants having shorter internodal spacing, meaning the distance between nodes (where leaves grow) on a stem is reduced. This effect is particularly noticeable under LED grow lights, with great stress comes great dense clusters. Hello, temperature, my old friend! Goodbye, money on AC. Week thirteen for Francos Fullgas! Day 39 of 12/12. She's just doing her thing and despite some watching and watering there wasn't much to do this week :) Unfortunately she is a bit overfed, but can't manage to get every plant different nutrients so she has to take what she gets. Really love this phase of a plants life, when all the work is showing in a steady progress and the most needed thing is patience.

The gelato is looking great. Trying to figure out which male I want. I'm realizing I want to make s1 seeds so I need to get some clones from her to pollinate her

I stopped giving them nutrients at all since it's almost harvest time :) I guess about two weeks or so to go. I watch her trychomes all the time :) Some of them seem to get brownish :) They look and smell amazing!

Getting tall, looking good, weather has been nice, hasn't needed much water w/ the rain we've had, cruising along and starting to show some pre-flower.

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Ok so had a good week approaching week 5 of flower for the rest of the plants the large critical mass that's a few weeks ahead of these has now started to be flushed checked the trichomes looking nice and milky so will flush that one over the next 2 weeks and continue with the feeding schedule of advanced nutrients for rest of the baby girls

we are entering the 8th week and the 2nd week of flowering. she is only growing minimally in height. the flowers are getting thicker. she is developing some nice little buds. she is doing really well. no parasites or diseases to be seen. in the greenhouse i have an average of 30 degrees, lowest temperature about 20 degrees and highest 40 degrees. in the video you can see a comparison with the white widow. both are the same age. i didn't use any topping or LST on the white whidow. it's crazy how big the difference is.
