In a beginner grower pickle... they may look good, and though it seems I may have done everything right through veg, I am almost near sure I messed something up between flower weeks 2-5. They're maturing, but not nearly as much as I thought they would. By now, I imagined they'd have thick bushy white pistils covering at least 6-8 inches of the top of each Cola. So many mysteries. Is it the node spacing? If so, should have flipped earlier. Is it due to nutrient issues (too many nutes? didn't feed as much base as H&G suggested? Too big of a swing while trying to lower medium EC and PH in medium? Too much pruning on the top? The only real variable is the Banana Kush. BK is in the far back left and obviously the most difficult to reach and maintain. Initially last week when I flushed, I wasn't able to flush as adequately as other plants nor have I been able to trim, maintain, or LST as much as other two plants. This is the only plant as of right now that does not give off a chemical/nutrient/ammonia smell when I touch the buds, but rather a nice sweet, Banana smell, and it's bushier than the Trainwrexk and G13 Is it because I didn't trim.as much and the buds are feeding off leaf and stem nutrients? Is it because there are fewer bud sites for the light to concentrate on, and thus yield bigger colas? Or is it because I continued to feed this plant has continued to have a high intake of nutrient despite my best efforts of flushing and maintaing? In any event, I could just be the most impatient person ever, and I hope to be pleasantly surprised in the next week or so, or it's puffy popcorn tops for me. Day 85 Update: G13 has a ton of fan leaves turning fast. Pretty sure it's a PH issue. Should I wait until they're dead to trim them off or get rid of every fan leaf that is affected more than 50 percent of the leaf? Something definitely is going on. Could be nutes, could be lights, could be the strains.. who the hell knows but I thought they'd be much bigger and gurthy by now. They still look good but man I wish they produced more...

Start of day 14 of flower. Still stretching and plants are happy. Next week will be doing major defoliation and taking cuts. Picked up spider farmer GlowR 80, these are at 40 watts each at 650nm red light . I remember reading about side and under lighting way back in the early 90s in Ed Rosenthal's grow book but never attempted it. These are very bright and torched my bare eyes when I glanced at them. Don't have room on the sides in this tent so I'll put them under the canopy once I give the plants haircuts in a few days, hopefully that will add a little bump to the popcorn.

Start week 4 , Bio Grow 2 ml/L + Cal-Mag Xtra 2 ml/L ( Ph 6.6).

Girls are loving the light! I was bit worried with the smaller gal and leaves pointing up, but with no sign of light-stress or anything else negative I've taken it as a good sign and they are just thriving so yesssss! I'm prone to want to defoliate as I'm use to growing in a much smaller environment (5 gal bucket lol) but I've been good and have only snipped a handful of leaves that were either blocking other bud-sites or restricting airflow. I cannot wait to see what this harvest brings in, I'm hoping for 3-3.5 oz (85-99grams). Now that they are flowering nicely I'm no longer using Gro, just Micro+Bloom with some calmag and silicate. El cultivo lo empiezo en interior y para fin de septiembre lo trasplanto afuera directamente en la tierra. A ambas plantas le puse un nombre particular, #1 Gina Herer, #2 Juana Herer.

Vamos familia, actualizamos la quinta semana de floración de estas Purple OG kush de DutchFem. Y es que no veas cómo van progresando las flores y qué color que sanas que se ven. Esta próxima semana seguro que aplico engordacogollos y empiezan a engordar bien. Ya empezamos la recta final, ya vamos viendo cómo avanza y esperamos que no surjan problemas de última hora. One didn't get hit enough water from the sprinkler so it got stunted hard and had to go, the plan was to only do 2 this run so all good, I used this one in a breeding experiment and it recovered very well despite the conditions, but this is not part of this diary. Day 64 from seed Smooth sailing to the end. Edit: Day 68 from seed. The left one is almost done, the right one seems to need a little more time. Turned on 440 nm blue light for tri production. Still hoping to harvest on day 73. Gave them their last drink. Also the 440nm and the 660nm adlites + full spectrum main and side lighting looking awesome :D
