I put the seed into glass of water for 18hrs, after that directly into potting soil. after 3-4 days they usually show the head. Lets hope she gets as good as the first one :D

I forgot to soak the coco with nutrients before planting the seed, didn't realise coco doesn't have as many nutes to start off so that's why we're looking abit pale, had no idea about his haha But it's all good! We can sort it. they looking like there improving past few days. Watered every day 1 litre around the outside in a circle and the stem. Added calmag grow nutes and voodoo juice. Colour is coming back to the leaves Will keep doing this for next few days while there recovering. 🚑🏥

I started germination of this Gold Bar Kush bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cube with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into a 1 gallon pot. Plus get this lady situated into her new home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with GBK. It's a VERY robust variety packing hella branches, hella quick. Prime candidate for continues ongoing lst work. To maintain a clean,uncongested even canopy. She can become a jungle quick if left untamed. Shes very easy going in the nutrient department. Not hard to keep this one happy. Packs on lots of weight everywhere towards end of flower. Branches most definitely need some support or they will come crashing down. The flavor and aroma from this variety sre majestic. The intense indica effects are heavenly. Not hard to guess why it's back in the grow room for round 2.

It's been a really busy day and a half with the ladies the needed a lot of work seeing as the freaked out while i was gone with this heat we've been having. Yesterday was 32C humid of 42C, its been warm. They got a major trim job still needs will do when she recovers from this one. They got a feeding today, of a mixture of thing that been said i hope to hell they don't burn cuz it was a lot of fertilizer ahah. Each of the 4 big ladies got: 4 cups all purpose 4-4-4 6 Tbsp blood meal 14-0-0 1 cup kelp meal 1 cup fossilized carbon complex 2 cups glacial rock dust 6 Tbsp oyster shell flour They also got 5 gallons of water PH at 6.8. Compost Tea is going to be started in roughly another 1 just waiting on the water temp to warm up a little more. I'm not going to Ph the brew at all just going to add the ingredients in and feed the way it comes out if it brew properly with a nice pleasant smell. Hopefully tea will be ready sometime tomorrow evening. Notably, some leaves in the lower canopy are beginning to wilt, a process I view as normal age-related defoliation. It's a natural part of the lifecycle, as the plant focuses her energy on the swelling buds. In our efforts to optimize her environment, the GCX 9 lighting is now set to 100% flower spectrum and 75% veg spectrum. I'm carefully pushing the limits to provide maximum light without imposing stress or damage to our plant. This stage requires a delicate balance, pushing for maximum growth while maintaining the health and well-being of the plant. I As we watch the buds swell and smell the sweet lemon fragrance developing, it's a moment to reflect on the journey thus far and the growth we've fostered together. Let's continue this care and attentiveness into the next week, ensuring that our plant not only grows but thrives.

Growth is still excellent. Very little insect activity. The copper antennas are working well along with the weed blocker. It’s so much cleaner without grass growing in between the plants. Pruning continues.

Plant has recovered from training a further defoliation. Topped the high branches as they are approaching the top of the greenhouse.

Today I trimmed the tops of the plants. development is good. Tomorrow I will increase the amount of light. Day 14. Tomorrow I will start spraying with Delta 9 and get ready to start flowering. Let's move on. =)

Day 74 Harvest time! She didn't have the best start at life, lost a major limb/side stem early on (my fault, too aggressive with LST), and got a bit stunted from stress I think. Flushed twice (once was to get her out of being stunted, it worked). Probably could have left it another couple of days as some of the lower buds were still maturing, not many though, and i needed to get her out of there so I could turn the extractor fan down to bring the humidity up for the young plants. I'm really happy with the result, especially after the small disaster that was Zkittlez (which im pretty sure was actually CBD lemon as its not potent at all). Not a big yield, would have been a lot bigger had she not lost a limb. I'm not too worried though, quality over quantity right? im pretty certain this is the best stuff i've grown so far, 5th times the charm huh? Trichomes are about 80-90% milky and 10-20% amber, first plant i've actually let get amber, so yeah, finally grew something right lol. No nutes for about 2-3 weeks before chop, and yeah 2 flushes, so im hoping it'll have a nice taste. Oh, and i didn't water for 3-5 days before harvest, which could explain why she's so light (not a lot of water weight), visually looks similar to the harvest, size-wise, yet a good 60grams lighter, will be interesting to see what the dry weight is. I'm gonna throw out a guess of 38gms. Even though she has a great smell, its not very stinky while drying, nor was it in the tent. you have to touch the buds to get any scent, pretty handy tbh. Currently drying in my wardrobe with a fan blowing underneath (not touching the buds) for airflow. Happy! EDIT: not the best trim job, im not very well at the moment so just wanted to get it done. plenty of trim that im going to use to make pain relief balms/lotions

Weekly update on these, I did do a defoliation this week which went great, unfortunately I over watered and they definitely ate mad at me. Got them back on track and will see how the next coming weeks go. They did start preflowering so next will be the stretch which is always exciting to watch the daily growth. Happy Growing

This week gorilla cookies finally got the chop! She was a very fun plant to grow and she produced dense,sticky buds that have some very pretty colors to her. If you wanna impress your friends with a plant,she’s one to do it with🔥

💧 Wir sind in der 4. Blütewoche der Wild Thai Landrace, insgesamt also in Woche 8. Die Pflanze hat den Stretch hinter sich und konzentriert sich jetzt voll auf die Blütenbildung. Sie steht gut im Saft und macht einen gesunden, vitalen Eindruck. 📋 Diese Woche habe ich 2-mal bewässert. Beim Düngerschema fahre ich mit 10 ml/L BioTabs Bio Pk 5-8. Zusätzlich gab es eine Sondergabe von 4 ml S&R Organics 5in1, um die Nährstoffversorgung in dieser Phase zu pushen. Das Substrat besteht weiterhin aus 85 % Plagron Allmix und 15 % Kompost. 📸 Die aktuelle Entwicklung sieht solide aus. Die Blattfarbe ist ein gesundes, sattes Dunkelgrün, die Struktur ist typisch für eine Landrace mit längeren Internodien. Die Blütenbildung ist in vollem Gange, die ersten Trichome sind bereits deutlich auf den Zuckerblättern zu sehen. Die Pflanze zeigt eine gute Symmetrie und reagiert bisher sehr positiv auf die aktuelle Fütterung. ✂️ Ich behalte die weitere Entwicklung der Blütenstände genau im Auge. Als nächstes steht die Beobachtung der Trichom-Dichte und der allgemeinen Vitalität an, um zu sehen, wie sie den zusätzlichen Dünger verarbeitet. Bisher läuft alles nach Plan.
