Hey Guys, so we got through Week 1 ! Everything looks good for me... Forgot to take more pics of the baby this week, will make up for it on Week 2. i feed the baby foliar spray and normal feed with the light soluction about 500ml every 2 days or so. EC 0.8 | PH 5.8 HPS Light at 60% I think i got it right, let me know if you guys see anything wrong.

Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. No problems yet, growing good. Transplanted other 2. I ran out of soil so I topped off the gelato with pellets. Starting low stress training on purple kush 1 and 2, will be topping pk 3, and maybe try and fim gelato after I read more about it. Maybe I should top it first.

This grow went extremely easy, I believe I held off on harvest till week 13 She dried for 7 days around 55-60 RH and 72-75° F could have been better but not the worst Good moisture level still inside the buds been burping the jars and reloading them letting the RH slowly decrease inside the buds This stuff gave me 1 gram of rosin off a 3.5 gram press at 205°f Great returns overall and awesome smell!

This is the start for week 9 and got to doing some last training and ended up splitting the middle stem, that end up with her got into shock unfortunately, she don't seem to understand happy but we will see

well, it's exactly 12 weeks :) and my house is full of lemon aroma :) the girl endured really difficult growth, but she coped with everything perfectly :) who followed the growth, you saw that she grew on the balcony for 10 weeks, and she spent the last 2 in the grow tent :) 500 gr wet weight !!!!:) , before putting it in the ground I expected less than 10 g dry yield :D then this growth turned out super well, if it wasn't for my vacation I would have let it grow for about 2 weeks I think. but everything is still very good, I'll go home, fix it and do a smoke review :).

Noticed some slight yellowing and the white blemishes on a couple of the older plant's leaves were getting bigger. I believed the white blemishes were do to a cal-mag deficiency and added that to my feed. Also was using 1/4 nute strength and now bumped up to full to counter the yellowing. Started LST this week too.

Looking forward to trying red Jack Auto flipping of the light is very exciting.

Day 86 A life cycle is about to reach an end. Knowing that i am the one whos gonna chop and blaze her up is kinda sad or maybe because Im high. It is wht it is though. It is just time Day 91 The photo girls still developing. Seems like they are gonna be ready in weeks. The top colas seem less frosty compared to the lower buds though.

Some weeks ago I told that the smell went too strong at home, but it lowered to normal levels last week, now she's smelling more and more each day again ;). I can say about Alice.K, that I had 0 problems or weird things along the current 9 weeks, she suffered very high temperatures, some insects, and also i'm going hard with nutes, I'm cycling EC reaching 2 sometimes, and she didn't show any excess signs at time, I'm not telling that they're not going to exist on Alice, but not at time, if i see some, i will stop and re-adjust. Hace algunas semanas comenté que ya estaba apestando toda mi casa y aún estaba en crecimiento. El olor fue disminuyendo hasta niveles normales y esta semana de nuevo está volviendo a incrementar su olor día a día. De momento debo remarcar que en 9 semanas de cultivo que van, la Alice.k me ha dado 0 problemas o cosas raras. Ha sufrido de altas temperaturas, algunos insectos y he empezado a ir fuerte con los nutrientes. Estoy ciclando la EC en los riegos, sobrepasando los 2 en algunos casos, de momento no ha mostrado ningún signo de exceso. Con esto no quiero decir que no los vaya a mostrar si sigo así, pero de momento no lo ha hecho, si en algún momento empiezo a ver signos, ya frenaré y reajustaré. También es un planta fuerte y con capacidad de recuperación rápida, eso se puede observar en los vídeos perfectamente. Day 70 - 01/12/19 This is going to be a lot bigger than my last harvests :) the colas are getting bigger each day and even the side colas are bigger than my last plants main cola. Smell is still weak/normal with that lavender/weed concoction :) hoping it gets pretty strong in the next couple of weeks! Plant hasnt gotten any taller as its finished its stretch. all thats left now is watering and waiting :) this beauty should be ready to chop down just before christmas. might have some buds dried by christmas day ahah. Main cola refuses to snap even after being bumped off the grow lamp etc. rhizotonic is definitely doing its job at strengthening stems. I added a few photos to show progress from last week. really excited for this one :) hopefully the buds will be much more dense and tighter as i will give this strain all the time it needs. ive also been watering using the full 1.8L can. the plant is drinking this and drying out in the space of 24 hours. im definitely going to give it as much water and nutes as it wants lol. Same day update: Was taking some pictures to show off LST on my other diary and they just looked great. my quick one is towering over the other diarys plant and the colas look beautiful! i posted the pictures on this week also. take a look! Day 75 - 06/12/19 Most fan leaves are yellowing and crispy now so im assuming its near the end. im going to check the trichomes in the morning to see whats up :) chopped a small bit of bud from the top of the main cola and smoked it. nice little stoned high from it :) Il probably start flushing in a few days time :) plant should definitely be ready for a week 12 harvest! i get more and more excited for the harvest of every plant i grow. im learning and improving every time. Day 76 - 07/12/19 Quick One turned into a Fat One compared to 6 days ago. im gonna start flushing tomorrow and try to harvest around the start of week 12. a nice smell of lavender and colas are thick and sticky. a definite improvement over my last diary! 35 days!!! When I returned from vacation, I found her a little tired:) as far as I know, the weather wasn't very good, but the last 3 days we've had really sunny weather, so even though the girl lives on the north side of the house, she's still maturing there:) she looks really good :) good luck to everyone.

Still battling humidity although I think I have finally came up with a solution that allows my co2 too flourish as well. I connected my outlet carbon fan to my humidity control and changed my settings to the green ban of my vpd chart. I’ll keep you guys in the loop on that.
