Hi, here is another week and the flowers are gaining volume nicely, for flower no. 2 I am not sure if I should feed for another week or if I should start the 14-day flush, flower no. 1 is about two weeks behind so I will fertilize everything this week, another week or two just Dragon force and then flush. Would you start flushing flower 2 already? I don't want to create another question. The trichomes are milky so far, no amber yet but the buds are overall with a brown tint so I think they will start to turn amber soon.

girls are growing well. changed water change out cycle to replacing 1/3 of entire resevoir every 3 days. The theory is that i will be able to transition changes to nutrients slowly to identify any changes to the girls. one girl showing sign of what i believe to be calcium deficiency.(picture attached)

Hello Growmies, As we conclude the sixth week with our Epic Buzz plants in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Showdown, we've seen substantial growth and faced some climatic challenges head-on. The plants have thrived under a regimen of defoliation, lollipopping, and scrogging, developing into robust specimens ready for the flowering stage. The extended watering intervals and the consistent application of our chosen nutrient blend, Alga Grow, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, have supported their vigorous development, ensuring they are well-nourished and hydrated. However, managing the environmental conditions, particularly during the night, has presented some hurdles. The recent introduction of a custom-built extraction box has been our latest strategy to combat the high humidity levels we've been battling during the lights-off period. This innovative solution has shown promising results, offering a more controlled grow atmosphere by extracting humid air directly outside, preventing it from lingering in the lung area of our setup. Despite this improvement, the integration of the Mars Hydro fan with the Tent-X system remains unresolved, leading to less than ideal fluctuations in our VPD levels. The lack of support from Mars Hydro, Secret Jardin, and even TrolMaster in providing clear guidance for this integration has been a stumbling block. We're considering a shift back to the reliable Prima Clima system, known for its seamless compatibility and ease of use. In the spirit of community and shared growth, we're reaching out for any advice on connecting a 5-phased PWM motor to the TrolMaster controller. The collective wisdom of this community has always been a guiding light, and any insights would be greatly appreciated. Veg Week 3 Day 21 to 27 - 4/17 to 4/23 A lot more to talk about this week. It's topping and transfer week. I started the week off (day 21exactly) by making sure I had at least 5 to 6 nodes of growth and topped P1 down to the 4th node and P2 down to the 2nd node as a test. (typically I top to the 3rd) I also removed all other node branches and fan leaves and usual. I left a large stump in my tops so the nodes can use it to grow around and help support the larger weight of a mature plant. I gave a couple of days of recovery while I hand spread the nodes daily to train the new waterways through the nodes. I changed my schedule and watered a day after and then transferred the plants into their forever pots/top watered in Feed this week was .5gal transfer and top feed at 100ppm total before add-ins. I used 100ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) I then also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 6.2 Feed plan next week will be a final top feed of .5gallon and then turn the reservoir on. 21/03 - la semilla estuvo hidratada en un vaso con agua por 24hs. 22/03 - la puse a germinar en papel humedo. 26/03 - Ya brotó y la introduje dentro de una maceta pequeña. 29/03 - Ya brotó. Por el momento se encuentra perfecta sin ningún problema. Tiene 15 días de vida desde que la puse a germinar. En la segunda semana de vida ya le empecé agregar un poco de agua con fertilizante. 0.5ml por 1L de agua. Durante la semana estuve regando un poco con eso.

I added some soil to reduce the length of the stems and make them more stable to the fans, sprayed once with mineral water after the lamp goes out and put some sticky traps because as usual there are some gnats in the soil, nothing to worry about so far.

Run-off got pretty high on the plants in the main tent when I tested it this week (2300ppm) so I flushed the plants down to around 900 over a few water events with half-strength nutes (~450). I think this, plus (mainly) the plants being too close to the LED caused them to throw some foxtails - particularly the middle plant (although I still think that spindly shit is also partly due to the bag seed pheno). Noob mistake on my end and I didn't realize until it was too late. Now the light is turned down and the run-off is back in a good range. It got high because my auto-watering halos were mostly running off the pots and not sinking in - this is because I filled the pots to the brim with coco (another noob mistake). Looks like I'm hand watering until harvest :) Big Mumma in the blurple tent on the other hand is still killing it.. Apologies for having to upload videos of the microscope - too hard to hold it still and press the button for photos lol.

🌿 Grow Diary – Tag 84 | Blütetag 24 „Radikaler Haarschnitt, erste Harzschicht … und die Schädlingspolizei dreht wieder ihre Runden“ Diese Woche war klar: Schere raus – untenrum einmal Kernsanierung. Die Ladies wurden ordentlich gelollipopped und ich hab wirklich nicht gekleckert. Der Eimer war am Ende randvoll mit Schnittresten. Alles, was unten nur Energie klaut oder im Schatten gammelt, ist beinahe konsequent rausgeflogen. Ab jetzt geht die komplette Kraft nur noch in die Tops. Die Kush hat mir dabei kurz den Puls hochgetrieben. Etwas instabil im Aufbau, beim Schneiden halb auseinandergefallen – ich durfte erstmal wieder puzzeln, welche Triebe ich eigentlich behalten wollte. Kurz Zelt-Chaos … aber wieder eingefangen. 😄 📏 Höhe & Stabilität Der Stretch ist jetzt offiziell vorbei. Endhöhe: ca. 1,10 Meter – besser hätte es fast nicht laufen können fürs Setup. Viel höher und wir hätten Licht-Tetris spielen müssen. Zur Stabilisierung hängen jetzt überall Pflanzen-Jojos. Diese kleinen Rollen mit Nylonschnur, die die Äste sanft hochziehen und schwere Buds stützen. Schön gleichmäßiges Blätterdach, nichts kippt weg, alles entspannt. Echt kleine Gamechanger. 🌸 Blütenentwicklung Jetzt startet die eigentliche Show: Buds stapeln sich sichtbar erste Trichome / Harzbildung leichter, süßer Duft im Zelt Man merkt richtig: 👉 Produktionsmodus aktiviert. Jeden Tag ein bisschen frostiger. Ernährung & Feintuning Allerdings zeigen sie langsam klar: 👉 Phosphor- & Kaliumhunger Die BioTabs-Tabletten waren top für den Start, aber in der intensiven Blütephase einfach etwas zu träge. Plan: Mikroben pushen → Bodenleben aktivieren moderat PK nachdüngen → Blütenaufbau unterstützen Ein kleiner Schub, damit die Buds richtig Masse machen. 🐛 Reality Check: Nervensägen-Alarm Und ja … natürlich gibt’s auch die weniger glamouröse Seite des Grows. Tripse und Trauermücken zum Beispiel. Doppelt hält leider nicht besser. 😅 Tripse → silbrige Fraßspuren auf den Blättern Trauermücken → kleine schwarze Nervflieger über der Erde Nichts Dramatisches, aber einfach maximal lästig. The ladies got a proper lollipopping session, and I definitely didn’t go easy on them. By the end, the bucket was completely full of cuttings. Everything down low that only steals energy or sits in the shade had to go. From now on, all power goes straight into the tops. The Kush caused a bit of drama though. She’s slightly unstable structurally and basically fell apart while pruning, so I had to puzzle together which shoots I originally wanted to keep. Short chaos in the tent… but fixed. 😄 📏 Height & Support Stretch is now officially over – finally. Final height: around 1.10 meters, which is pretty much perfect for the tent. Any taller and we’d be fighting the lights. To keep everything stable, I installed plant yo-yos everywhere – those retractable supports with nylon strings. They gently pull branches upward, support heavy buds, and keep the canopy nice and even. Small tools, big impact. 🌸 Flower Progress Now the fun part really starts. You can see it every day: buds stacking up first visible trichomes/resin light sweet smell filling the tent That moment when you open the zipper and think: 👉 “Alright… production mode activated.” Each day gets a little frostier. Nutrition & Adjustments What’s becoming obvious now: 👉 early phosphorus and potassium deficiencies The BioTabs tablets worked great so far, but during heavy flowering they’re simply a bit too slow. So the plan: add microbes → boost soil life moderate PK supplementation → support bud building Just a small extra push so the flowers can really bulk up. 🐛 Reality Check: Pest Squad And of course… it wouldn’t be a real grow without some annoying visitors. Thrips AND fungus gnats. Double trouble. 😅 Thrips → those classic silver streaks on the leaves Fungus gnats → tiny black flies hovering around the soil Nothing catastrophic, but seriously annoying. That constant “can you guys just leave already?” feeling. 04/04/24. Going into week 3. The little ladies seem to be doing well. For a few days I dimmed the light to about 20-25% as I thought it was too much for 2 other babies (zoap) I have under it. Prior to that the node spacing was looking perfect. Now the orchids grew several inches taller and the node spacing looks huge. I’ve increased to 50% again. The stems have thickened up quite a bit since last week. I’ve tried to show it in video. I haven’t given anything but the tea, which I will be giving again with their next watering. They have been getting about 500 ml dechlorinated every 3 days. #1 has just been topped today at 5th node. I will do the same with #2 when she is there. Other than that, just watching them grow and do their thing. 😍

New Money - Compound Genetics Week 3 of Bloom 🌸 She has finished her stretch and is working hard of developing her flower! No real scent just yet, hopefully that comes in over the next few days. She has thin but sturdy lateral stems with a compact canopy and looks really healthy, so all good so far 🙌🏻 The temperatures have been up and down over the last week or so, so I've added the AlgAMix into her feed to help the plant deal with the fluctuating. ✂️ I've lollipopped her again, removing all leaves stems and budsites below the top 7 nodes from the canopy - these lower branches won't develop into anything and will more than likely cause problems later down the line. I've also removed a couple of the larger fan leaves from her center, to improve airflow and light penetration 💪🏻 💧 Watered every three days with 4L of RO water, with nutrients mixed individually, in order and then finally, I pH'd the solution to 6.3. I've increased some of her nutrients and added the Alg-A-Mix as a precaution to any temperature fluctuating that might occur this time of year. 💡 PPFD: ~740 ♒ VPD: 1.44kPa 🌱 Days from seed: 79 🌸 Days in Bloom: 20

It grows compactly. Unfortunately, not all shoots are growing evenly. This could be due to the Indica dominance. What do you think? I haven't been able to find any real pre-flowers yet. At first, I thought I had found some male ones, but under the microscope they looked like leaf buds. Fingers crossed that the plant is female. I don't want all that training to go to waste. Drunken Bitch Slap is growing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She did a lot of stretching in last week. She is just starting to shoot pistils for the colas. Everything is looking really good, and ready for some flowers. I have done some selective defoliation is all the training I have done.
