With a good Flushing out my little chunks are now ready for the chop. I think a combination of Anxious and Excitement begin to overtake, whilst all the time a nagging voice in the back of my head whispering 'are you sure its the right time'. This little voice i must admit has been a preoccupying factor and by far the most difficult decision so far. Despite this and the little voice screaming away i have decided that i am to stick by my guns and Harvest these Chunky delights as planned! Wish me luck the time is nigh.

11/30-12/5: Major stretch from the Muscadine Wine's and one of the Sucrose Overdose. I supercropped and tied down the apex on the big SO and I'll probably have to supercrop both MW's before it's over. The Platonium and GG4 aren't stretching vertically nearly as quickly, but have massive leaves and huge diameters (problem children). Sugar Bref is a shorty, like the Berry Bomb, but both have very thick stalks and may, yet, do some stretching. Both MW's and the big SO not only have red stems, but they have red leaf veins and the outer edges of the fan leaves have a nice pale-green to red gradient coloration....swexy!😍

Much appreciate all your likes, follows and comments. 🙏💚❤️💜 Week 14 Jan 15- Jan 21 Flushing and preparation for harvest 😁 on Jan 15 feed girls for the last time with nutrients. It was reduced dose by 60% 5ltr no runoff. Following morning topped up with 6ltr of ph down and only fish shit. Runoffs PH 6.2. Second watering Jan 18 6tr and 7ltr on Jan 21. It was last watering. Week went very well. No white pistils hairs on Athena for a good while and barely few left on Xena. Many buds have different shapes and colours but all of them are equally hard as rocks, sticky and smelling so deliciously. This week trichomes development was just like I wish for. Just milky and amber in play Status on Jan 22. Mostly of buds 20-50% amber. It's just perfect for my needs🤤 On Jan 21 lights were on for the last time and girls will be harvested after 48 or 72h of darkness. Stay tuned for the final week update! Preparing to yank out top shelf and rejig things. I can only gain 4” but it will be needed as this thing is running hard. Closer than 8-10” to the LED light, and she WILL get cooked! Next Gen grow box gains almost 8” in height with same dimensions, so problem solved. I may have to cut CO2 until stretch is over or just cut altogether. I got a close eye in her. Day 44: She's looking good, and stretching at a rate of 2"/day in her tin can. I did a light defoliation and cleaned up training wires. I'll leave her be from here on out; less some selective defoliation to keep sites open. I cut CO2 (which would have been helpful a bit earlier), and may turn back on at the end of week 8, time will tell. Day 46: She looks like she is 4+ days behind when compared to the other 4 autos I have grown. She will either catch up, take longer to mature, or I'm screwed because of the heavy defol. Flower development seems slow/odd. 10pm and she’s now 22” tall and too close to the light. Flower productivity accelerating for sure. Maybe she will just catch up, and finish late? Bummer I had this one in quarantine. Day 48: leave symptoms developed further into dark rust spots very suspect to a calcium deficiency. I flushed for a few hours, cut Gro out all together and bumped Micro and Bloom. Increased CalMag from .8ml to 1.5 ml/gallon. Now observing. Day 49: Another day or two will tell but it feels like the deficiency is slowing as the progression on day 47-48 was an hour by hour progression. Throughout the week, and almost everyday, I have taken a dozen or so leaves throughout the canopy and the undergrowth. One day I defoliated her pretty good, but not super heavy. Massive leaf production and has crowded the plant/bud sites out in a matter of a day or two. Day 52: Looks like calcium or possibly potassium deficiency back in check. Newer leaves look good and no progression on older leaves.

Last week of the vegetation stage for the ladies. I added some urb to the nutrient mix and gave the plants two measuring spoons each of the bat guano as a top dress on 17/01/21. I defoliated the plants and flipped the switch to 12/12 on 17/01/21.

Week 18 (30-6 tm 5-7) 30-6 Temperatuur: 31.4 graden (licht aan) 22.5 graden (licht uit) Luchtvochtigheid: 69% (hoogste) 50% (laagste) Ik heb de trichomen bekeken en heb besloten haar nog een dagje langer laten staan. Watergift: Geen. 1-7 Vandaag heb ik de trichomen opnieuw bekeken en die zien er goed uit! Veel cloudy en best wel wat amber. Ik hou echt van deze trichome foto's, echt mind blowing hoe dat er uit ziet! Dus vandaag gaat de schaar er in! 2-7 Ik heb besloten om een wet trim te doen zodat als ze droog is ze gelijk in de cure pot kan. Geloof het of niet, maar ik ben wel 12 uur lang bezig geweest om alles te knippen 😅 Op 1-7 ben ik in de middag begonnen en in de vroege ochtend van 2-7 was ik klaar. Het natte gewicht van de buds is 283 gram, en het natte gewicht van de trim is 61 gram. Ik ben nu al super tevreden met het gewicht! Dit is meer dan het dubbele aan gewicht vergeleken met mijn eerste grow. De buds zien er ook echt mooi uit. Ik schat dat het tussen de 50 en 75 gram droog gaat zijn. Ik ben benieuwd, nu een paar dagen drogen! Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.4 graden (hoogste) 21.2 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 59% (hoogste) 42% (laagste) 3-7 Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.2 graden (hoogste) 21.5 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 50% (hoogste) 41% (laagste) 4-7 Droogtent: Temperatuur: 23.1 graden (hoogste) 22.1 graden (laagste) Luchtvochtigheid: 53% (hoogste) 46% (laagste) 5-7 Na 3 dagen is ze droog genoeg om te curen. Wel heb ik iets te lang gewacht want de LV in de jar geeft nu 57% aan. Ik hoop dat dit over een dag wat om hoog gaat. Nu een paar weken curen en dan kom ik met de rook verslag 😁 Ik zal binnenkort ook even berekenen wat de gram per watt is, aangezien ik de lamp niet de gehele grow op 100% had staan. Het droge gewicht van de buds is precies 75 gram, en het droge gewicht van de trim is 19 gram. Samen maakt dat 94 gram! (De trim gebruik ik om een CBD cake of bubble hasj te maken) Ik wil iedereen bedanken voor het volgen van dit avontuur! Tot de volgende keer!

Week 26 - bud shots! Growmies, why did I defoliate so late? Look at these nugs. Had I taken more leaves away earlier, they would've gone bigger. But I'm not complaining. This is going to be a HUGE harvest and a new record for me. The buds are frosty and the smell is so yummy. I want to harvest them already but my weather station predicts another week of sunshine so why waste it? I'm really happy with this strain. It's uncomplicated and seems to thrive despite my neglect. Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different!
