5. April Der erhöhte Lichtmenge durch gutes Wetter war deutlich spürbar. Der LED Streifen hat die letzten zwei Wochen leider seine Mission nicht erfüllt, mangelndes Sonnenlicht auszugleichen. Die Pflanze links und rechts habe ich bereits mit Erde stabilisieren müssen. Läuft bisher absolut nicht wie gewünscht, allerdings spielt das Wetter jetzt super mit! Seit zwei Tagen stehen sie nun wieder draußen auf dem Balkon und profitieren deutlich von schönen Wetter! Ich hoffe darauf, dass die Pflanzen bald etwas stabiler werden. Hab auch gemerkt dass die benutzten nematodes leider abgelaufen waren… hab trauermücken in der Kiste. Neue sind unterwegs

Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. Got the Spider Farmer wicking system set up with a reservoir. Up until now I’ve been using purchased pure water since it came with a better starting pH than my tap. After running the numbers, the cost of hauling jugs didn’t make sense long term. I ended up grabbing an RV water inline filter for the garden hose, which strips out most of the chlorine and other contaminants I was worried about. Goal was mostly a stable water source because the girls are getting thirsty; I still prefer hand-watering to wet and activate the top dress. Access is only from one side of the 5×5, so as they bulk up I’m learning the back two are a chore to reach. The wicking pads help keep things even between rounds, but I’m still going in by hand to finish the job. Did a defoliation pass; airflow and light paths improved, but I may need to push it a bit further because I don’t want a lot of larf. Crazy how much plant material I pulled off but they seem fine. Light feels like the current yield limiter. The SF4000 is solid but a touch undersized for full 5×5 penetration, the lower canopy isn’t getting what I want. I’m eyeing a higher-wattage bar style light for better edge uniformity and deeper PAR at canopy. I’ve been testing edge light saturation with the SpiderF PPFD sensor at canopy height. Center readings are strong but the corners and long edges are clearly lacking. Smaller tent or smaller plants another option maybe. Im at 100% on my light and will be for the rest of the grow just raising it to keep distance. Plants look happy overall. The Durban Cookies is standing out, taller and more vigorous than the 10th Planets especially for being a week younger than the rest. I am guessing it will be harvested first just by stretch speed alone. The 10th Planets R1s all have a pretty even canopy going but showing stretch. Wicking system + hand-water combo is keeping the media right where I want it, and the top dress from last week is kicking in. Reminding everyone this is my first grow. Hoping for a pound dry, but I won’t be greedy. Keeping my expectations realistic! Thanks for following along.

This week has been one of great gains in both size and vegetation we have seen a vertical leap in two plants that is astronomical almost 4 inches in a week! Had to do some pruning to expose new bud and a little bit of low stress training on to plants to see if we can expose light to the underside and perhaps get a little more love out of our lower buds The stalk size on almost all of these plants is almost as big as your thumb but on one it is actually relatively skinny that is the one we’re doing the low stress training on we just started the low stress training and it is taking very well to it One of these plants is extremely dark in color on the vegetation and has typically about 11 fingers per leaf! Not sure what that means yet

Apricot is going fantastic, she should take right off this week with her feed . Herself and the mimosa cake look like the pick of the bunch so far .

April 28 - May 5 This week the nutrients have been completely phased out and they are now just sipping plain TO water ph balanced to 5.8 still. As they start entering into the flushing zone with harvest day quickly approaching. Daily tricome inspections become the focal point In these final days and or weeks. I

Mazar has a unique design that has us in awe, this is definitely a rare looking plant with features that remind us of strains that grow in far away lands. Our only upset with this girl is the powdery mildew that has started to set in, this is disappointing at this stage because we prefer not to use any type of spray. We used tap water with a ph above 9 to see if that would help, regardless this is a sign that she may not be the best strain for outdoors in our climate. Epsom salts have been added to our rain barrel once a week and Mazar has had a few dustings of coffee grounds added to her soil bed. Either way we appreciate her beauty and hope she can stay free of the rot as the bud thickens and the cooler air sets in.

En general me encanto cultivar esta genética, siempre fue la primer genética que quise cultivar desde que empecé en esto y no me decepciono en lo absoluto, de una sola semilla obtuve 106 gramos de flores de gran calidad 😃 increíble para ser mi primer cosecha con semillas de bancos, ya quiero ver que resulta en la próxima cosecha ya con más experiencia y mejor equipo 🤩
