Our beauty is now 3 weeks old and has grown to nearly 18 cm tall, continuing to develop strong and healthy. We’ve decided to enhance her nutrition by continuing to feed her with Xpert Nutrients fertilizers, which provide everything she needs for balanced growth. Additionally, we’ve started using CO2 to further stimulate active growth. The daytime temperature remains at 28°C, nighttime at 21°C, and the humidity is maintained at 65%. We are still keeping the light schedule at 12/12, closely monitoring how the plant responds to these conditions. Still steady away with her, no growth to get exited about really. Finished with all the topping and just keeping a level canopy while the growth on the second set of branches catches up. Especially the top branch on the pictures. Seems to be really held back compared to the opposite branch. I've defoliated quite a bit, just to clear some space and get light through to all the new growth. Just waiting it out now and gonna flip lights when everything is caught up. Collected plenty of pollen from the Mi5 to dust her with, going to try get one half pollinated and leave the other, probably get a few stray seeds on the other half but I don't mind really.

we just finished 2 weeks are are going into the 3 week. These ladies can EAT!! 1,000 ppm’s and no issues..looks like I have to up the ppm’s for bloom phase 4 out of the 5 are doing GREAT. The 5th one is having issues and I know it’s the media I am using. I had a different brand of soil for 1 of the banana MAC’s and it freaking SUCKS!! I am amending with Iron-Tone by Espoma to get the green back and it has some cal-mag also with sulpher ( hits all suspect deficiencies). The other 4 are in Mother Earth soil which I have had zero issues with. I will be sticking with Mother Earth for awhile. 11/6 Potassium deficiency in the banana MAC’s…kinda of a good sign. Let’s me know the plant is going into bloom phase and it’s time to change the ratios from 1:1:1 to 1:3:2. The 1:3:2 is flower girl 1 week and fish bone meal with Langbeinite the other week. I will alternate between the two for 4 weeks. Tuesday ( 11/8) will mark 3 weeks. I did defoliation and lollipoping today. This is the second one I have done ( I do the first one the week before flipping).

It's like my garden is hosting its own version of "America's Got Leafs," and the contestants are aiming for a standing ovation from the tiny plant audience. Now, onto the nutrient boost – it's like my plants discovered a secret stash of leafy steroids. They're devouring those nutrients like they stumbled upon an all-you-can-eat salad bar. If my garden had a Yelp page, it would probably say, "Five stars for the gourmet buffet – would photosynthesize again!" But with great growth comes great thirst, or so my diva plants declare. I can practically hear them demanding water with the urgency of a plant water-seeking missile. "Hydrate us, human! We're not just thirsty; we're in a botanical drought crisis!" And now, the grand revelation – last week's leafy fashion faux pas was all thanks to a faulty pH pen. The plants probably threw a mini leaf party when I introduced the new pH pen, complete with tiny leaf confetti. They're like, "Finally, accurate pH readings – no more plant tie-dye nightmares!" In a twist of fate, I had to embark on a plant-less journey for a few days. So, like a responsible plant parent on a comedy tour, I decided to water a bit earlier and a bit more before my departure. And lo and behold, the plants loved it! It's like they threw me a farewell bash, chanting "Water, water, party, party!" in their own leafy language. The early topping and Leafy Synchronized Training (LST) maneuvers have clearly paid off. My plants are now strutting their stuff like runway models in a botanical fashion show. I picture them doing the leafy version of the cha-cha. So, Week 9 has been a laugh-out-loud masterpiece – from topping triumphs to nutrient raves, from hydration demands to pH pen dramas. As I return to my green kingdom, I can't help but feel like a plant ringmaster who has navigated the garden circus with flair.
