Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. First off I just want to say for some reason it’s not letting me change the right temperatures on my diaries ! Each time when I put it in they stay at 50. My day air stays 75 degrees an , night degrees is 70 ! Today is day 58 for all these ladies! This week has been really great ! Girls really progressed a lot , especially for one the Forbiddin Runtz, looks like is gonna finish up in a week or 2 ! Other then that they are coming along well! Die Pflanzen kommen in die 8. Blütenwoche und haben sich gut entwickelt, die Blüten haben letzte Woche noch etwas zugelegt und sind praller geworden. Auch sehen die Blüten jetzt schön frostig aus und glänzen schön im Licht. Ich werde noch abwarten, wie sich die Trichome entwickelt, der Gorilla könnte Ende kommender Woche fertig sein. Chocolate Rainbow XXL brauch auf jeden Fall noch etwas länger hat diese Woche aber auch schon mehr Trichome gebildet. Amnesia Haze liegt irgendwo dazwischen und kann evtl. schon mit Royal Gorilla geerntet werden.

Day 42 - Ladies are growing great, some are growing a little faster than others but all in all very happy with this run so far! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱 Day 43 - All of these ladies expect for 1 white widow & 1 orange sherbet keep having problems, yellowing leaves, rust spots, not sure if it’s me or what the issue is considering 2 of them are doing great😬😬 Day 44 - Watered the ladies today, going to give them some calmag next watering when my new PH meter gets here! Day 47 - Buds are starting to get much bigger on a few of the ladies & a lot more frosty!😍

We can stop this wild climate change, but we can seriously slow it down, almost completely if we all do our part. A tad late, but on Dec 20th we started flower! The pics and video are all from dec 20. To kick it off we did a small feed (1tbsp) of veg nutrients and over the next few weeks will transition to flower blend. So far she's taken well to the training and looks very strong overall. I’m gonna top them and then I’m gonna start them over from clones so they grow roughly the same time as Julian and I’ll keep the Ricky and the bubbles others as mother plants and I’ll just keep them going. 1/21 10:15 AM vegging 12 inches 30 W Samsung LED Mars Hydro light perfect 121 1:10 PM I moved black tea Tangie into the germination station. The 2 gallon fits in here just fine. This will be fine for germination.. She’s sprouted only after about 40 hours so she’s really strong. 1/21, 2:54 PM. I made a my own Star Wars movie. Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering. Things are going good in here. Still want to harvest around the 2nd week of Aug. Found a few ladybugs this week on the anise, and brought them in the greenhouse, to help. Smells wonderful in here. There's RainBow melon in here too and it smells tropical, sweet, with citrus and pineapple in the air OK. Take Care. Chuck.

Same height, same 5l/day, slowly swelling up those buds! Not sure but I think we are running into a bleaching issue again ("sugar leaves are oh so sweet!" issue, remember my first grow?). Well, I guess she may be a bit sensitive to strong lights - I have increased distance to my lamps and dimmed them to 75%, means she get 180W and not 240W actually. Defoliation goes still very easy - removing couple of fan leaves every second day, no other trainings at all. I had also removed some of very low and small side-side brunches - testers on the way :) She started to smell stronger in the tent - super tasty!

Kept an eye on her and basically tried to expose as many nodes and bud sites to as much light exposure as possible. The temperature is a bit cold with a cold wind. She seems to still be growing well albeit a bit on the slow side. Buds are forming with trichomes already visible.

Day 43 – The Sweet Spot ​Current Status: We’re sitting at day 43 of flower, and things are looking absolutely dialed in. The ladies are packing on some serious weight and the canopy is sitting perfect. ​Plant Condition: ​Caramba: She’s leading the pack, showing some nice milky trichomes under the scope. Definitely entering the final stretch and starting to stack some serious density. ​Nebula: Still pushing hard, building up those frost-covered calyxes. She’s a bit more patient but looking incredibly healthy. ​Care & Maintenance: ​Feeding: Keeping them strictly on the established nutrient schedule – Bio-Heaven, Bio-Bloom, Top-Max, and Green Sensation. Everything is dialed in, and they are drinking it up with zero signs of nute burn or lockout. ​Defoliation: Sticking to the routine of plucking the occasional old, fading, or yellowing fan leaf to keep the airflow tight and ensuring the lower bud sites get their share of the light. ​The "Terpene Blast": Man, let me tell you – there is no better feeling than popping that tent door open. As soon as I crack it, this absolute wall of pure, dank goodness hits me straight in the face. It’s that loud, mouth-watering aroma that tells you you’ve done it right. I absolutely love that moment; it’s exactly why we do this. ​Next Steps: Watching those trichomes like a hawk. Tak jsem se vrátil k deníku. Kytky rostou a vypadají zdravě. Přišel první problém a to, že mi začaly plesnivět textilní poty. Plíseň jsem setřel,ale jestli to nebude problém do budoucna nevím. Zalévám 5l každý čtvrtý den. Přepl jsem 3.1. a do základu přidávám ještě Woodoo juice a calmag od Biobizz. Nechtěl jsem do nich moc zasahovat a teď nevím jestli nemám moc husté. Je tam tak deset pater na 30 cm. Zkoušel jsem FIM, který si moc nepovedl, takže jsem to pak ještě topl. Dnes jsem přidal výkon na větráku. Světlo jede na 100%. Nechal jsem si tam ještě 20cm rezervu a nevím jestli světlo dát co nejvýš. _------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tak jsem to trochu překopal a dal naplno větrák a co nejníž. Snad to pomůže v boji s plísní. Jestli se ještě ukáže,zkusím ji zlikvidovat peroxidem. Za plíseň si nejspíš můžu sám, že jsem nechával výtok pod mřížkou až do další zálivky. Další ventilátor jsem objednal, ať se to honí i nad kytkama. -----------------------------------------------------------_-----------------------+++++-------------- Dnes(16/1) přidán další větrák nad kytky. AC S6 nastaven na simulaci větru. protože foukám jedním větrákem přímo na poty,tak budu muset zalivat asi častěji. Mnohem víc to teď vysychá.

Moin an alle diese Woche habe ich die Damen auf 12/12 gestellt alles läuft soweit nach Plan die einzige Dame die mir sorgen macht ist die Dame vorne rechts sie wächst sehr sehr dicht bewaldet hat wohl etwas mehr indica gene abbekommen was jetzt nicht wirklich ein problem ist allen Pflanzen geht es soweit gut. Ich bin mit der Umstellung auf 12/12 um 1 Tag verrutscht eigendlich ist immer Ende der Woche für mich am Donnerstag somit also Freitag Umstellung auf 12/12 habe ich auch gemacht schalter auf blüte gestellt und vergessen die Zeitschaltuhr um zu stellen das viel mir dann abends auf als die Lampe noch lief obwohl sie hätte aus sein sollen somit habe ich sie den Tag noch 18/6 gehabt und bin erst am samstag 12/12 gefahren somit verschiebt sich das ende der jeweiligen woche auf Freitags, (ich bin halt zu stoned unterwegs zur zeit, was heißt zur zeit! eigendlich immer 😂😂) am anfang dieser woche gab es 20ml/L orgatrex und 1g/L bactrex, davon aber nur 500ml der lösung an die Basis für die lösung verwende ich destilliertes wasser damit die Bakterien schonend dem Medium zugeführt werden, beim normalen giessen ohne Nährstoffe verwende ich abgestandenes Leitungswasser was einen Ph von ca 7,8 aufweist was ich mit Ph down von GBN(Green Buzz Nutrients) runter regel auf einen Wert von 6,5 was super funktioniert bis jetzt! das Boden leben scheint äußerst gesund zu sein, die Pflanzen wachsen gut und robust, weisen ein sattes Grün auf und haben bis jetzt keinerlei Schädlings Spuren, Mängel oder Überschüsse an Nahrung. Bei meiner Lampe bin ich mir nicht ganz sicher habe sie jetzt zur blüte auf 75% der Leistung laufen da ich Schiss habe das wenn ich auf 100% fahre meine Damen sicher licht brand bekommen werden also muss ich abschätzen 75% und mit der Lampe nach und nach ran gehen oder 100% und bei ca 60 bis 70 cm bleiben ich Weiss nicht genau was ich machen soll oder eher gesagt was besser kommt....... Naja das wars für die woche.!

01/27/2021 Flowering going well Flowering #2,#3,#6 #6 is a week ahead of#2,#3 will put others in on week 4 for a staggered harvesting 01/30/2022 watered with fungal tea and some aloe mixed in for amino acids and other goodness. Well see how she progresses in 4 days Also working on some banana peel tea to give a boost of potassium if I do next week it should be available for week 6-7. Ps. Fuzzy Mellon (bag seed male) I will pollinate one lucky branch on #6 as she is my favorite. But number 3(tall and lanky one) will get pollination of one branch as well. I can't wait to see how they recombine with fuzzy melon smell mixed with burnt rubber and model glue and pine. #2 no pollination (smaller one) #5 (bonsai) and #8 are males. So 3 female out of 8 seeds. Going to make some feminized seeds next time,so I'll have plenty of female's for a staggard harvest.

Still doing great, last check before i go on vacation and leave them alone for 24 days. A friend of mine is going to water them once a week with 3 Liters per Plant (maximum) - i hope the "Holiday-Grow" works and they don't dry out. Lets see...😐
