End of week 5 for Purple Lemonade FF. This week was better than the last week. She's bouncing back from her issues.She is still developing and stretching slowly. No signs of pre-bloom yet. I just fed her Goldleaf feterlizer and I did some defoliation to the bad leaves. Hopefully week 6 is better.

She was lagging a bit behind so I gave her a good dose of overdrive to give her a second wind for more bulking. Kicked in a 600hps for a wider spectrum. Decided to try Schwazzing. Pretty I'mpressed with this method. I highly recommend this!

This was a very stressful week as there were too many variables at play all at once; even my camera refused to cooperate for the first few days. The freshly transferred plants were starting to droop and I was unsure if it was transplant shock, nutrient burn, or because of the incomplete grow tent. My first batch of nutrients were mixed into a gallon bottle and was weighed by a friend using his scale; this set was enough to last weeks. For this new batch however, I didn't have my scale and used the table spoon as my measuring tool; needless to say when my TDS meter finally arrived, both runoff and the remainder of the mixed nutrients read 2800. Fortunately my light setup seemed to be inefficient still and the plants weren't drawing much nutrients and only ended up with a very light burn on the older growth. All pots were flushed back to recommend levels and the light lowered until the lux values read appropriate. This week ends my daily comments and I'll stick to this end of the week format going forward.

What a week for the plant ! huge changes ! you can check all the tutorials into my IG channel : Sawyer_grow First I started the week by topping her. the idea it to let the plant focus on the current 8 colas she already grown. I gave her 3 days to recover then bending the main colas and did some LST to perfect the mainlining. for this grow I changed a bit my tools instead of using some holes in the pot I put some bamboo stick in it with rubber. Continuing slowly on towards harvest. I Have discovered something bad looking under the microscope though, and im fearing the wortst tbh. Might have to be thrown away :(((((((((

I harvested one of the three critical purple plants I have today. I've been flushing it all week and finally, today was the day I cut her down and moved her into the dry tent. I trimmed one nug to dry a little quicker so i could try it out because I'm impatient. Lol As for the other two.. well they are looking great I've moved them under they're own light for the remainder of the time they have. I'd guess that I have maybe another week. They're just now starting to cloud up pretty good but still no amber color after scoping them today. I dont foresee any issues with the rest of this set. These have been super easy to grow and they smell nice and potent. On my next post I'll have the dry weight from the first plant and I bit of a review on how she turned out.

Noticed some more pink/purple stems on the plants and decided to increase the phosphorus content in the feed by mixing in half grow and half bloom from the nutrient lineup. I'd use the PK booster I have but its to high in K for my liking. The entire lineup is very high in K. mixing grow and bloom gives a NPK ratio of 7-7-14 then done 1:1 equal parts. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 Run off was a bit high for my liking but only seeing minimal signs of nutrient burn. Still watering once with feed and runoff and then later in the week with water and no/little runoff for my watering cycle.The number in the nutrient section are wrong but the EC and ratio are correct. Also impressed the roots have started popping out the bottom of the container already after only being transplanted for a week. Good root growth on these ones. Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% . It was a good, busy week. The clones are down, dry, and now jarred. Total weight from them was 5oz. I didn't think I was going to get more than 2oz because I didn't put much effort into them. However they all turned out pretty solid for growing led and soil 😎 The mothers come down in 9 days and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how dense those will be! I'm pretty sure a certain someone is going to be donating to some polar bears 😏 because I'm damn sure getting more than 2.5oz per plant 😎 That's about it for now, happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️

Und weiter gehts. Hat ein paar Blattläuse. Habe den Ventilator umgestellt und noch einen bestellt! Blattläuse bãh. Da. Blattlåuse, ich machs euch unbequem... 😛 Ok, nur noch 2 Ventilatoren. Fragt nicht. Ich sage nur Mitbewohnerin. War ja eh ihrs. SEUFZ Ok neuer Monkey fan und der alte. Zusammen bringen die was. Keine Blattläuse zu sehen, nach 4 tagen Wind. Yes! Am 001.009.021 ist sie seit 5 Wochen in der Blüte. HALBZEIT. Und weil ich ja DER CHAOSGROWER!! schlechthin bin. Wird mein geliebtes Pflänzchen in ca 4 Wochen für eine Woche ausziehen. Grund ist ne völlig ausser rand und band geratene andere photo period Pflanze, die sich da irgendwie reingeschlichen hat. Und die muss! Mit aktiv Kohle filter Trocknen . Deswegen gibts n kleines technikupgrade, denn das ausweich quartier braucht ja auch Licht. Too optimistic. Aphids re still there. But I think they re getting fewer. ..

Day#29Update : I took off about 8-10 fan leaves although I really did not want to take anything . I pony-tailed her main top although I wanted to pony-tail each of her tops . I’m hoping this second lite defoliation establishes those lateral branches letting them become symmetrical with the main top . If this happens I’ll pony-tail each branch for a day or two then when I untie them I’ll top each branch . For now that’s the plan , make as many arms “branches” with equal growth to the central “main” branch . Day#30 update : she’s been ponytailed for an entire 24hrs which is a 1st she always breaks out of the tie . This makes me happy I timed it better . Usually I ponytail her top when it’s slightly to large/strong so the benefits are short lived at most about 8hrs which still definitely helped those lateral branches reach the light but I was aiming to ponytail her at a smaller growth so that it would remain restrained until I decided to remove it . She’s almost ready for a drink . She could go for one today but I really want to wait until she’s absolutely famished and begging for it . So I’m going to wait another day or two then water her until runoff . The last time she received water was day #24. Day#31Update: well she’s still pony-tailed ! I’m shocked and amused . I’ll let her down finally tomorrow . Made it through an entire month she’s only gotten more beautiful since fixing the VPD issue. I broke and gave her water before she was absolutely begging for it . Mainly to address the low and falling humidity in my tent . I don’t want to lose anymore precious time dealing with issues and setback on those autos finishing up in here . After I last watered the tent day #24 I did a massive leaf defoliation of the flowering girls which dropped the overall tent humidity massively . So I adjusted the intake/exhaust fans as well as the oscillating fan to allow the humidity to rise in the tent . That worked well enough until but as the girls drink slowly the humidity is back falling again into the 45s. I don’t want it in the 40s until buds are swollen . I mixed up a gallon on water and added an ounce of trace micronutrients to it and ph’d it down to 6.4 loaded it into a 1gallon sprayer & sprayed my 3 autos . Having a little less than 1/4 gallon of this full strength solution I decided to see what my Cereal milk plant was made of and gave it to her . I haven’t given any of these girls a full strength dose of anything other than the Gaia Green . At day 42 & Day 35 of the autos in flower I did a too dress of flower nutes & a week later all 3 ladies showed burnt tips so I very well may exacerbate the issue by giving them a full stenches feeding of micronutrients . “Cellie” who went into this 1 gallon pot day#9 is showing what looks hunger signs with the yellowing of the lower leaves . Maybe because I’m letting her go thristy considering there should be 28 days of food in this medium at minimum really even more considering I added more than the recommended amount . So we’ll see. Month 1 Veg went great excited to see what kind of bush she looks like at the end of month 2 and fingers crossed by month 3 she’ll be read to flip to flower and scrog down Day#32 Update: RELEASE FROM PONYTAIL PRISON so to speak 😭. She has so many tops already ! It’s going to be a pleasure and a joy to defoliate her , ponytail all her tops for a couple days , then release the ponytails & top all the main tops once to widen her up some more ! She hasn’t shown signs of stress from that full strength micronutrient feeding I gave her last night so that’s wonderful . She’s going to look absolutely crazy when I strip her bare of a lot of these leaves and ponytail those tops BUT the woman she will be once she fills back out will be worth the temporary tragedy . It will take her relatively 14 days to rebound from the defoliation I’m going to put on her if I go as heavy as I’m planning to .

Today she was given 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ which I gave her through her drip pan (bottom chuggin) and I also gave her pot a turn. She continues to pile on the trichomes and is taking on a exquisite purple hue to her flowers! She is definitely one of the most photogenic cultivar's I've grown and is looking lovelier by the day! 😍 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days and she'll be around four more weeks from finishing, with the most exciting weeks yet to come! I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and Top Dressed her with 2 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, 1/2 cup Down To Earth Bio-Fish, 1/3 cup Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and 2 cups of Worm Castings. I watered in the Top Dress with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ and let her enjoy her meal! 😜 9/26- After her heavy watering on the 24th I didn't water yesterday and when I checked her today at 'lights on' and she still had some weight to her pot and her leaves were praying hard so I held off on watering today and will hit her tomorrow with her usual 1.5g watering. ~Thanks for stopping in!
