Week twenty-two is officially done on the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. This week is a turning point, marking the end of vegetative growth and the start of the flowering transition. I decided to switch the light cycle to twelve-twelve. Initially, the plan was to wait for a stronger recovery, but the reality is simple: it wasn’t happening. The plant was given roughly three full weeks to acclimate after stress, and the response stayed limited. Rather than staying stuck in an endless waiting phase, I chose to move forward. This means accepting that flowering may not be extremely vigorous or high-energy. That’s fine. This run is also about observation, learning, and adapting. Flowering was initiated gently, at around three hundred PPFD, to avoid adding more stress. At the same time, I switched the nutrient program to Athena bloom and adjusted the recipe accordingly. The plant has now been under flowering conditions for about twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Over the coming week, I expect to see the first signs of stretch. It’s a bit frustrating, because structurally the plant was doing really well. The LST work created a clean, balanced canopy, and the potential was clearly there. Now the focus is simple. No rushing. No over-correction. Just letting the plant transition naturally into flower and observing how she reacts. Next week will officially mark the first true week of flowering. From there, we’ll reassess posture, stretch, and overall vitality. For now, the plant is left alone to settle into its new rhythm. That’s it for week twenty-two. See you next week.

So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.

Flowering day 12 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone ☺️. Once again a wonderful week goes by 😀. It has developed so far and is now slowly starting to develop its flowers :-). As soon as the first forms of buds can be seen (I think in 5-10 days) 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom per liter of substrate are added. In the third week, 1 g per liter of substrate is added so that it lasts through to the end :-). This week it was poured 3 times with 1 liter each 👍. The entire tent was also cleaned and the electronics checked for functionality. The humidifier was refilled every day and fresh osmosis water was drained into the tank for the coming week ☺️. The plants have all been checked for health and pests 👍. Next week the bamboo sticks are inserted towards the end for support and the lowest shoots are removed so that at the end the energy is not wasted in the lower area 👍. The Bruce Banner showed a nutrient deficiency (potassium) this week. I have just learned that organic fertilizer should always be applied at 100% of the recommended rate and not at 50% as I did in the first few weeks. However, it doesn't look too bad yet and I have now increased the fertilization. Next I discovered 2-3 small pollen sacks on S.A.D. #3 & #4... I don't know why both plants were slightly twittering but I simply removed these bananas :-) We will see!

Amazing strain, very easy to grow and hope to do do more Royal gorilla auto in the future and see what else RQS have to offer. Absolutely solid buds and potent asf. Taste is 9/10. thc I would say 20%+. I also used terpinator in weeks 7 and 8 at a rate of 4ml/l which I didn't list in my diary. I'm sure this contributed to the density of the buds. I will use terpinator alongside advanced nutritions range for all future plants.

Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!

So this plant was a dream, stayed so lush and healthy throughout, grew tallish, strong really bobbly, swollen calyx structure to the buds, really sparkly with crystals, just lovely. Smell is fruity and pungent, impressive yield, just great.

Week 6 is going good, all are in flower and looking ok. Purple Punch flowers look a little small but hoping to see them swell as she looks to be done stretching. Starting to see some frost forming on Zkittlez and OG Kush. Pink Kush has some beautiful, almost black color. Lights are 18/6. No nutes. PH 6.5 water.

Week 8 | Glookies Auto | Flower She's the biggest plant in the garden right now and she's earned it. At 106cm and properly into flower, the Glookies is doing exactly what a well-selected outdoor auto should do — she used every day of veg to build a frame, and now that frame is filling in with bud sites up and down every branch. The nutrient stack has shifted to match where she is in the cycle. Base feed is now **CANNA Aqua Flores A+B** at 3 ml/l each, **CalMag Agent** holding at 0.9 ml/l, **Aptus Regulator** at 0.1 ml/l. **Plagron Green Sensation** has been introduced at 0.5 ml/l — the all-in-one flower booster covering PK, enzymes, amino acids and biostimulants in one shot. pH 6.2, EC 1.2 mS/cm, 1L per plant per 24h. Temps sitting at 25°C day, 18°C night, humidity 60%. The main cola is stacking well and the lateral branches are following. Good things coming. Updates every Sunday. Stay tuned.

Lots and lots of rain! Heavy clouds and no sunshine this week has been terrible. I found a few spots of mould on the girls so chopped a few buds away . Kept the good stuff to dry and bad stuff is going to be used to making hash! (I always keep trimmings in the freezer). Worried about watering them also as this will only encourage the mould 😕 next week will probably be the final week as I’m going to cut losses and chop em down. Lesson learned. Get a proper green house!!

🌿 Grow Update: Day 2, Week 8 of Flower 🌸 Hey fellow growers, We’ve hit Day 2 of Week 8 in the flower stage, and wow, she’s smelling delicious! The buds have definitely grown since the last update, but nothing too dramatic. Still, her appearance, aroma, and stickiness are on point. Not too shabby for my first run! There’s a fair amount of larf below that I’ll be tossing, but the top buds? Holy smokes, they’re looking fantastic. I'm aiming for at least 3 ounces, and if I hit that or more, I'll be over the moon! I'll be starting my 2-week flush very soon to ensure the best quality for the final product. Wish me luck as we head into these final weeks. Welcome to week 5 of flower for this lovely project! The ladies should start to put on some serious weight over the coming weeks as I've noticed most plants are done their stretch now (except macmelonz). We got lots of crazy smells coming from these plants some are harder to tell then others but some are extremely pleasing smelling already. Banana Smoothie is really putting off that banana cream smell accompanied by berries as an undertone. Creamy Cereal Crunch smells like Fruit loops and milk , its very unique and very pleasing if your into cereal anyways haha. Over all excited to see what this week will bring! Huge shout out to @MarsHydroLED for making such cool lights and tents that really make growing a breeze. Huge shout out to all my followers and people who stop into the diary alike , keep on inspiring to grow! -The Projexx Day#29F Ladies are starting to display some bulking up. Day#30F Pictures N/A. Plants seem to be stretching a bit more but concentrating on bulking up flowers. Some really nice smells coming out. Day#31F Macmelonz is still stretching along but stacking hard and the rest are starting to put on noticeable weight. Day#32F Ladies are grooving along nicely, going to look to trim up some of the middle allow for more air flow to the plants. Day#33F Banana Smoothie #1 and #4 are really starting to put out Banana Cream aromas its quite intense now. Day#34F The canopy deff needs a light defoliation. ​In dieser Phase gewinnt die Naughty Dawg massiv an Charakter, und die Ausbildung der Fruchtstände rückt nun endgültig in den Mittelpunkt. Ergänzend habe ich für diesen Zeitraum das Zeitraffer-Video des vorangegangenen Stretches beigefügt, auch wenn die Aufnahmen eigentlich nur zufällig beim Filmen einer anderen Lady entstanden sind. Die Pflanze hat inzwischen eine beeindruckende Statur erreicht und fokussiert ihre gesamte Energie sichtbar auf die florale Reife. Die Buds schwellen deutlich an und präsentieren ein kräftiges Smaragdgrün, das von einer zunehmenden Harzbildung begleitet wird. Trotz der vorangegangenen Entlaubung im unteren Bereich zeigt sich das Blattwerk obenrum extrem kräftig und gut versorgt. Die Entwicklung der Blütenstände verläuft absolut planmäßig, und die ersten Trichome beginnen, die Kelchblätter zu überziehen, was den Beginn der intensiven Harzphase markiert

Tag 39: Nicht mehr lange dann hat die Chocolate Haze das Netz ausgefüllt. Heute habe sie ein wenig entlaubt, so kann ich sie gleich besser gießen. 😁
