Ginger nut cookies and Aussie Music Videos update 20th Feb 2020 On Monday just past, I started to leave this plant out at night thus reducing light hours to the same as a regular outdoors Plant. This should induce flowering as all my other Photoperiod dependent strains are now in Flowering mode. Thru the use of Topping and LST training I have managed to create lots of potential bud sites for this plant to develop into lovely sticky and stinky Buds. Later on today I will do some more LST & As soon as I see pistils developing I will begin to add P+K to the soil by using Guano , Mollasses , Liquid potash, comfrey teas ,Compost teas and Worm castings. The smell of the stems is increasing in strength and has a blend of Red diesel stink mixed with cookies dankness. 😛 Now for the Weekly Music Videos yes I say videos because there will be three 🙏 Last week I chose The Divinyls but this week I thought I would do something different and ask the People what they wanted to hear. Week 5 – Time to Bloom! We’ve entered Week 5, and it’s time for a big change — we’ve switched the light schedule to 12/12 to trigger the flowering stage for our beautiful Gorilla Girl! She’s growing impressively — now standing over 30 cm tall and stretching out nicely in width as well. To guide her structure and maximize light exposure, we applied some LST (Low Stress Training) and gently tied down the main stem. We’ve also carefully removed a few top shoots to help redirect energy where it’s needed most. Everything’s going smoothly — our girl is strong, healthy, and ready to bloom! Big thanks to Sweet Seeds for the outstanding genetics and to Xpert Nutrients for the support in every stage of growth. Let the flowering begin!

This week Went very uneventful. Reduced the fertilizer down to 600ppm and flushed twice on Wednesday and Thursday, on Wednesday I still had 100ppm in the tank after the second flush it went down to 0. Kept her in darkness until Friday night and then started chopping her down.

Santa has been working hard so he can give out lots of smelly xmas presents. He has also been working on taking better pics of the buds. Ps. My tent is in my closet in my office (I have been WFH for 2 years). Nothing better on a stressful day than opening up the tent and staring into the green, my type of therapy. Has helped me get through my last semester of gradschool while also working full time.

Key Milestones This Week 1. Dialed In with the New Halos Just like the photoperiods, Charlotte and Makayla got their first taste of the newly completed DIY automated irrigation manifold this week. The Treatment: The green hose irrigation halos coiled inside the rims of their 10-gallon bags worked flawlessly. The Impact: The sisters received a thorough, uniform 15-minute soak. Getting that edge-to-edge moisture spread across the containers is going to be a game-changer for keeping the organic living soil evenly charged, especially as the summer wind starts to pick up on the plains. 2. Height Check & Structure (Featuring Charlotte) Autoflowers move on their own rapid timeline, and keeping them tight, stocky, and structurally sound is the main goal out here on the exposed deck. Current Height: Pulled the tape measure out to check on Charlotte today, and she is sitting perfectly compact right at the 7-inch mark. Architecture: She is displaying that classic, rugged Northern Lights indica heritage—short internodal spacing, broad fan leaves, and a sturdy main stalk. The top growth tip is perfectly centered and pushing up healthy new growth right above the irrigation line. Wind Readiness: Keeping her this low and close to the soil at Week 7 is a massive advantage against the Eastern Plains gusts. She’s building a thick, solid base rather than stretching out thin. 3. Root Environment & Airflow (The PVC Advantage) Unlike the massive 25-gallon bags on wheels, Charlotte and Makayla are dialed in on custom PVC risers. This gives the 10-gallon fabric bags a rock-solid, stationary foundation while maintaining that crucial air gap underneath. finally have some time for my plants. i will upload some photos and videos this week! ------------- updated again i spotted male flower on one of the branches removed it immediately (it was immature), after removal i peeled it in other room with gloves and was sure it was 100% male flower because it was not like calyx inside. its the 2nd time i find male flower on plant number 1, very strange i never saw plant only popping one random male flower. i thought plant would just be hermie and it would have a lot of male flowers. the plant is 100% female but popped random male flower again. It is late flower of this strain and i think i can handle this problem and finish that plant. Any expert ideas? any of readers encountered this problem? p.s. sorry for bad english, it is not my native.

High GD community, Week 2, All 4 strains doing good. No remarks so far. Some kind of slow down in growth, but roots got to the bottoms of the pots, so maybe they start this week with the real veg. I started the GSC seeds from HSC by soaking in a glass of water overnight then planted in coco coir under a humidity dome in my veg tent. I will plant them in flower box in a couple weeks when they can handle the feed that my BB clone is on right now. On day 5 my 2 other Gsc seeds rotted perhaps too wet but I have one good remaining for this run. I started White widow seeds and will run 2 phenos. Gsc is looking good so far.

10 Jan - 16 Jan 11 Jan Kush del Arriero: Looking good, fat buds, a lot of them. Choco Cookies: This one has been a little too sensitive with nutrients, it only has a few small buds, the other plants overshadow it. Banana Cake: TBH I thought this was going to be the one with the biggest buds, they look frosty tho. 15 Jan Some fan leaves are starting to look pretty damaged by a previous nutrient lock.

Starting to beef out more. Came out of nowhere , however , we had a little pest issue - Seemed to go straight for it. I hope I’ve remedies that old school way soap water spray plus sticky band to trap. Added some canna cure. Interestingly I went low on silicate and canna cure here vs the other tent. The other tent has had zero pests whatsoever. I also added smaller pots this week with biocanna pro- I hope it’s not that. Anyways - starting to look true to its name now.

Brought them inside this week and borrowed a Dehumidifyer. I’ve been able to get RH , 45-55 now and the resin production has already started increasing

This week has been a good one all round. The sun has been beaming down all day for days and I still due to continue for a while. The gorilla 🦍 has now started to get to a nice bushy size, unfortunately outgrowing the original tent position. After the mistake I made with the Rhino Ryder I grew by taking the bold move to leave permanently in the elements, the cold temps at night really slowed bud production. I have had to improvise and make a shoddy attempt at lifting the tent to allow the room needed.
