Day 22: Hi all , hope we are all well. The Gluberry male has been banished now and wont be making another sneak attack ever again !. The remaining Glueberry ( #2) is now able to have her 1st gym session ( no social distancing or masks needed!). She has been bent over from her 4th node( no sniggering at the back !) so that her 5th(main) takes a horizontal path to the pots edges. The other growth below should form up similar to a quadline . Inwill allow it to go vertical when the flowering begins which should create 5 mains to develop into long chunky colas. Being an attempt to find my own best use of autos in this environment I use , is proving to be fun so far. Inhave other strains ( in my diaries here) that are being trained using this and other methods to again , see 1st hand what works for me. The Mimosa Lemon is doing really well too. she had her 1st session a few days ago and is responding perfectly so far. Both of these ladies are looking really healthy and green so far . I have not done a total soak of the medium yet and have been watering just outside of the plants leaf footprint. This is to encourage the rootball to set itself up for the flowering cycle and an important foundation for their overall possible yield. Day 43 - Commence the flowering! Flower sights are becoming clear now, with lots of pistils appearing along the top of branches. Watered with 1.5L with a run off of 120ml(8%). Day 44 - Watered with 1.6L today. Run off of 200ml(12.5%). Day 45 - She's getting thirstier again. Watered with 1.6L with run off of only 65ml (4%). Can really see the height gain by the day... Hoping the tent will be tall enough. Day 46 - Watered with 1.8L today with run off of 100ml(5.5%). Had a few warmer days outside causing more water evaporation. Will move to 2L soon if run off stays low. Day 47 - Watered with 2L with run off of 260ml (13%). Flower sites really starting to stretch out now. Day 48 - Watered with 2L run off of 260ml(13%). Will continue to water with 2L and only note when changes are required. 2L seems to be the sweet spot for this week. Day 49 - That brings us to the end of Week 7 and the first week of flower. Bud sites are now really established - I'll be increasing nutrients to 1.5ml/L for Advanced Nutrients and 0.75ml/L on CalMag. Total growth of 12cm this week compared to the usual 7cm over the last couple of weeks. An extra 5cm of growth can be attributed to pre-flower stretching.

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

So I'm flushing this week, Sunday I used Flawless Finish and watered heavy early, and did a 2nd plain ro flush 6 hours later, I did the same thing Monday. Tuesday I did not give any water at all, Wednesday I flushed the same way with Flawless finish, but water 2 times after that night, I let everything dry Thursday and Friday, It is Saturday, Today I have used only RO water, I am done adding anything. I think I could call it good, but I am going to keep things going after today, tomorrow/Sunday, and Monday, I will not water again, Tuesday the light will not even come on and I will give it a couple days of dark to finish. I could use some tips on how to get some better pics. I try, I really do, but I'm not getting the pics my eyes are seeing, so in the center of the area is all yellow and marooning leaves, and the buds have a pink tint in that area. The trics are getting there, but not yet, I figure by end of week they should be right... almost all cloudy now, a few clear left, but barely any, the few amber here and there, but I'm also not taking a piece to check from the top either, I gettin a look at a few small little buds, near the top, but not the top, I feel like I'm close... , So anxious had to phone a friend to tell me why to wait today... lol, I'll test my runoff ppm's tonight just to be sure, but the way the coco is taking the water makes me think its clean. I'm always ready at the end, Garden of Green seeds have ALWAYS made me look like a great grower. I'm excited, The smells, is very strong, it has a sweeter smell, next week I should have harvesting pics... Thanks for checkin it out

Tart Pops is entering week 6 of veg and she's stacking up beautifully! Been training the top heads using plant bends to open her up and keep that canopy nice and level. She's responded like a champ — lower sites are reaching for the light, and the main tops have been topped again to push even more branching. Structure is looking strong and symmetrical, and she’s taking the training like a true tart with attitude Keeping an eye on node spacing and dialing in those nutrients — this girl is prepping to blow up in flower! Let’s see what she’s got in the next stretch

Today, I spent some time tying down branches under the net again. It’s still a tricky task as the branches are quite brittle and break easily. Fortunately, the plants recover quickly, and so far, I’ve mainly noticed new growth sprouting from where the branches broke. Watering Experiment: Too Much or Just Right? Two days ago, I decided to give each plant an additional 2 liters of water to test the effects of what felt like overwatering. The results were interesting: High Humidity: The relative humidity spiked to 74%, which I consider a minor downside. Lower Temperature: Dropped to 29°C. Explosive Growth: The plants responded with vigorous growth! Given the humidity increase, I’ve decided to water the plants heavily only once a week. This approach should give them time to rest and prevent the growth of more mushrooms in the soil—yes, I’ve spotted a few popping up from the pot’s surface. Monitoring pH and Nutrient Reservoir I’ve also noticed that the pH has crept up to 6.2, indicating that the nutrient water hardness is decreasing. This suggests it might be time for a full reservoir refresh. Tonight, I plan to inspect the reservoir and clean it out. Thankfully, my hydro pump makes draining it a quick and easy process. Observations & Next Steps Continue training and monitoring branch recovery. Stick to the adjusted watering schedule. Refresh the nutrient reservoir and recalibrate the pH if needed. The grow is progressing nicely, and the plants seem happy despite some of the challenges. Leaving them alone is not an option... If they keep growing like this, I'll take it! This weekend, I'll do some heavy pruning. For now, I’ve snapped a few stems and tied some others to see which method gives better results. I’ve done about half so far, but I need to head to bed because of work. Tomorrow evening, I’ll tackle the other half. Also, I’ll look for some more subtle zip ties.

Day 23 Veg have not topped yet only bit of LST and HST everything seems fine

Asal got a trim to open up the air flow and a LST to spread the canopy a little more. Thinking I am done with the lateral spread at this point. Benesh got the same treatment. Asman has been taking the hits when I have overdone the LSTing. Thank goodness for masking tape and time to repair!

Started flush this week giving them four litres of ph’ed water everyday until the end of week ten, some leaves have started to yellow but hopefully that changes by then end of week ten, this plant it extremely frosty and looks really dense really happy with these two. It stinks of berries, I’m not sure if I can smell grape but theirs a pungent berry smell whenever I have them out the tent.

The flora has started, and I increased the amount of MKP while reducing calcium nitrate. PPM is slightly above 1000, nearing 1200. The pH remains between 5.8-6. They are in that phase of substantial daily growth, hoping for a bountiful harvest. I'm still defoliating and tying them.

Hi guys, so I chopped the little gelatocake 3 days ago and its hanging in 55% humidity and 15°f, I have taken a sample bud, you no how it is lol. Sherbert mimosa are struggling along and going purple 💜 bit cold here lately, starting to fatten up a bit now, the baby photos are growing fast but need repoting. Happy growing guys 💜💚💪

I transplanted everything over the past 3 or 4 days and am just giving them some time to break in their new shoes before I flip them. I got a new bottle of calmag I think the one I was using was old it's been on the shelf for a while. The heat is still a little lower than I would like and now with the bigger pots humidity has gone way up.
