Hey all! This was a crazy week. The girls continued growing up and have reached 30" (CBD+ and Moby Dick) and 23" (GG #4), pretty much outgrowing my vertical space. I removed my carbon filter (which was clogged and needing maintenance anyways) and pushed my LED lights all the way up, allowing CBD+ and Moby Dick to stay 7" away and GG#4 12" away. Although the LED manufacturer recommend a distance of at least 14", the girls seems to be liking the strong light and have not shown any light burns. One of the MD colas is only 4" away! ~~ Defoliation I've finally gained courage and heavy defoliated the girls (Schwazzing style). I removed one fan leave in each node + top leaves that were creating lots of shade. I'm looking forward to see the results of this so much controversial technique! ~~Feeding Since GG#4 presented some nut burns, they received only one scheduled feeding plus one "watering" (only Cal Mag, Florilicious Plus, and Molasses, Ph = 6.0). Next week I'll come back to the normal feeding schedule.

Each of the ladies looks perfectly healthy. Which makes me very happy. However, I'm a little undecided about defoliation... but the question has already been asked. I'll get an answer right away.

Week 8 has gone well and she is chugging along. She is still putting out new pistils with some turning orange. Calyx's are growing longer and buds are still soft. I'm thinking a min of 10 weeks flowering for her. I removed some leaves on inner canopy to bring some air and light deeper. She is so bushy its hard to even defoliate maybe next time i will remove some more lateral branches... afterremoving the leaves I must have come incontact with a pollen sack as where I defoliated all seemed to be polinated over night and are making seeds :( I will cut my losses and harvest while seeds are still small.

Update Sunday... hey guys uploaded a security cam footage of the blizt storm in the GTA.... ladies survived somehow... also did top dressing at 30tbs per 15 gal of 444 and 284 gaia green organic amendments. 70/30 ratio. Watered them in with dechlorniated, pH 6.2 and 60mL of molassas to 5 gals of water. Defoilated and did some maint pruning on growth under the main canopy. God bless. Hey folks, Well I got good new and some bad news. Last weekend, these ladies got thrashed by a thunderstorm.. break some branches along the way. Had enough time to splint the bent stems and they bounced back. Note that due to the storm, the pots got watered down pretty heavy... but to my surprise I let the ride out from Monday to Friday... and regretted that. I should of watered the ladies on Wednesday or Thursday, but found out the pots where extremely dry (also probable that the fabric pots are drying the medium out allot faster). The plants started to droop Friday afternoon. Also did a little lst but didn't want to over stress the plant that still recovering from the major storm. Iv watered each pot about 8L of molasas water @ 5mL/L and see how the soil and plant respond. Im going to check on them more frequently and prevent under-watering. High temperatures and nutrient burn. At this point i have no idea what i am doing. Every now and then SD2 and SD3 release typical weed smell but apart from that no other smell. The stems upon rubbing and touching smell like cinammon,cloves and orange zest.It reminds me of fanta drink.
