This plant literally outgrew a 4 by 4 at 87 inches tall I had the light at the top and quickly realized I had to toss her in the greenhouse about halfway through her life. Super happy with the size of it 43 inches tall exactly. Not sure if shes gonna stretch more but lmao the biggest auto I've ever grow. Mad respect to ILGM genetics right now. Day24: wedding cheesecake and Tropicana cookies are flowering while the gorilla cookies is a little behind. I turned the exhaust system on to lower the humidity and manage the smell Day26: I added bloom nutes and increased the light power to 75%. I also tied some branches down. Let’s see how they respond. We are 3 days into flush. I flush with plain water. It is day 47 and yes I’m flushing early. Only a few amber trichomes to be seen but that’s gonna change rapidly. Last time under this same set up I went to day 60 and found a few pods. So 60 is a day or 3 over. Was gonna go with 50 and see what it looks like. If they need a few more days they will get it.

Alright, I moved her into Homebox Q60+ now and provided some professional light Q3W from Sanlight with 120W full spectrum range. This setup is much better for the plant compared to my setup in 1st week. Now it is also much easier for me to keep stable humidity and temperature. Day 9 - Looks like she recovers from stress I gave her in 1st week. Stem looks quite thin to me - but since I have no experience I can't be sure if it is abnormal for this age or not.

DAY 21 FLOWERING: Well it had to happen eventually!!! . I knew it would come to this point.....I had to be brutal and practical as I evicted the Gorilla cookies and the mutant Northern light to a different space... I now have the #1 Northern lights and the Grandaddys Mimosa directly under the XS1500 to really develop them both to the best I can. The light has done a great job developing all 5 to this point and I do think it could have finished them all at a push but , I think seeing how it can grow 2 auto plants in a 2x2 space will be worth the change of plan. I am impressed with this little light and never expected such a growth rate . I really would love to test their new p4000 to see what that beast can do. The northern lights has really worked hard this week on her bud structuring , she looks like she will be stacking her colas on each limb , just the way we like em in the space I have. I did take a little more weak lower growth out of her to focus on the stronger mains as we have hit the point of no more defol . She wont regrow leaf after this point now so the ones remaining will be all she has to power the photosynthesis during flowering. Sugar leaves do not do the same work as the fan leaves and with them being autos , I feel we need the extra boost more than in a photoperiod run. She looks like stretch has finished now too so her size is nice and stocky so she wont need to transfer nutes too far from the roots either. Grandaddys mimosa is also really developing some nice looking golf ball buds all over. She looks like she will be a long cola girl too which is perfect to keep the canopy and light distribution as even as possible with the Northern lights too. She smells a little fruity already and the hint of her Mimosa lemon father is also really evident. So far so good . The 2 Gorilla cookies and the other northern lights are all looking great after being grown under this light and I will include their harvest data in the diary at the end to avoid the diary going haywire. It's been a busy week. I have got some acoustic ducting. WARNING... Acoustic ducting has Fibre glass in it and is a MAJOR IRRITATENT to both skin and eyes and should be done in a well ventilated area with suitable protection. So, I have also switched from pure batmix to a 50/50 split with a good compost. I have done this as I'm not 100% happy with the level of water retention in the batmix, I'm finding it to be too much and I do not want to run into any issues. I would rather the soil drys out then I know exactly when to water. I have also increased the HPS to 400w (from 250w) it is very difficult to give plants too much light. I am spraying the tent whenever I can, with warm(ish) water to increase the humidity for a short while. I do have 1 plant that seems to be slightly stunted but I'm not worried just yet. I will be looking into fiming and LST probably next week to make sure they have a good base. I have also had to transplant the plants into another pot as the roots are growing like crazy at the moment. I also purchased a dimmer plug for the fan, as I don't need it to be on full all the time (it's a 6 inch fan with duel speed but thats far too much for what is needed now.
