This is my first grow in 25 years and it was a pleasure. Now that it's legal to grow 4 plants in Virginia, I did not waste any time getting started. Maintenance was easy. Well water in Autopots with Sohum living soil. All I needed to do was train the plants.

I found out that I have to go out of town when I had planned on harvesting. So I did it a few days early. This plant has been a blast to grow. I was a little worried at first because she just wouldn't put on any inches. The plant only reached about 12 inches in 2 months. However, after the that she grew like crazy. It could have been due to my inexperience. I guess we will have to see on the next grow. I still have 5 more seeds of this plant. She flowered in about 9 weeks. Big fat dense colas. The next time around I need to pay better attention to the little scrubby side shoots. There were a lot of them. I ended up with about 60 grams of larf because of it. I should have done a better job of defoliating before flower and I should have kept her colas clear of the dense foliage. Having said that, she turned out a ton of bud! Wet weight count: Clone 1 - 179g Clone 2 - 163g Mother - 586g Total - 994g I will come back next week and update this with some more pictures and final dry weight.000

This is the end of this journey with my first grow and it turned out pretty good for an newbie grower like me, i let the plant cure properly also to get the maximum out of the terps 😋 i'm really happy with the grow and will continue to grow more and more 😈

Ended up with 13.5 oz wet so I’m expecting 5-6 oz dry which would be awesome! I actually snapped the main stem during LST and I taped it back together, it healed and ended up being my biggest cola!

10 September Harvest - see pictures. While some growers leave the plant whole when they cut, I do not. It is a personal preference and situational convenience if your a home grower. I chose to cut large, long branches, and remove any whole water leaves, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the bud formation. I don’t trim yet. This is done for a few of reasons: 1) It’s my last good close-up look at her until another 5 days or more, 2) I don’t want wet leaves drying on my buds if I can help it, and 3) I occasionally like being able to shine a small LED flashlight on the flowers while its drying. Mold is our greatest problem as growers, it can destroy a beautiful grow right up until the end process. Then I hang it in a dark closet, provide circulation and ventilation. Light and heat, anything above 80 degrees F, will start a break down in cannabinoids during the dry, it is ideal to stay away from both. I’m fortunate that a humidity level of 50- 55% and temperature of 65-70 degrees F is fairly consistent and easy to maintain. Anything below 60 degree F will prevent the adequate drying out of chlorophyll. Almost all my flower routinely take 5-7 days, some a little longer, to properly dry out. 15 September Trim - see pictures. First you’ll notice the buds have shrunk up to half their original size. This is just a fact that we growers have to deal with. Due to evaporation without uptake of water, it takes about 3 days for the chlorophyll to dry up, then slowly go through a chemical change. Along with the leaves, cannabinoids also begin a chemical change after 3 days called decarboxylation. A slow process where the THC level increases while curing. You want the leaf to be dry so they can be hand trimmed easily, but you do not want that bud so dry that it starts to fall apart in your hand. Try to handle carefully by the main stem to avoid touching the bud all together. A lot of these cut leaves will be covered with trichomes, good for making oils, or other products, it’s an option worth looking into keeping it. After trimming, I do separate a few premium flowers for my first smoq. Then loosely fill wide mouth quart mason jars with about 1 oz/28 gr of product per jar. I seal the lids for a few hours to determine what relative humidity they are at, see hygrometer pic, before making a decision to put in a 62% humidity control pack of my choice or to wait, then place in secure in a cool dark place with stable humidity and temperature. It is very important to then observe/burp or exchange the air as needed, up to several times a day, until 62% rh is achieved. Once your close to to your mark, put in your desired RH level control terpene shield. If you have a problem getting there: 1) it has dried out too much, no real solution, try to put several large cut stems left over from harvest into the jars with the buds to try and increase humidty, 2) it has not dried out enough, in this case no problem, just remove and dry out a little more. This is also a personal choice, some people like it drier in the 50% plus range. Whatever you do, research and preserve. At that time burping is no longer required. Cannabis will reach its peak potency potential at about 40 or so days into the cure. The finished product should be a perfect grind when cured correctly without clogging up your grinder, this could take a month. Now that I’ve said that, I’m sure someone has grown something that they have not been able to grind. It can remain in this state for an easy 6 months with little change, locking in all the terpenes and potencies. All you need to do is occasionally check the product to ensure there are no molds. If your grow/harvest/cure techniques are good this should not be an issue. It would not be uncommon to find many cannabis strains will last, with small degradable change, for up to one year after being stored this way. Using an airtight glass container, controlled relative humidity, maintained low temperature, and kept in darkness will equal maximum shelf life. Always avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 80 degrees F. The reasons I’ve ultimately chosen Deep Water Culture as a grow medium. Each has their own pros and cons indeed. I found the most efficient, less maintenance and ideal solution for my situation was DWC. Burdens to overcome depend on size up set-up; initial equipment cost, size of containers, ph monitors, air pumps, type of water to use-reverse osmosis, RO cost/set-up/maintenance, ways to transfer/change water and nutrients, what nutrients to use and schedules, takes several grows to learn and understand, a 1 year learning curv, easy to nutrient burn. The Benefits of growing in water; no dirt, no bugs, no diseases, rare nutrient deficiencies/toxicities, steady and rapid growth that enables the plant to reach its genetic potential. After harvest, there is about a 1 hour equipment cleanup, sterilization and turn around process before replanting. Cannabis will perform in so many different ways and mediums, no one way is the best and the best way is the one you are using, right. Chose what works for you in the long run. There will always be an initial cost in set-up. My advice if one were in need to cut corners, I would not recommend cheap lights. This single factor is the most critical, afford for the best. The notion that organic and water has a different taste, flavor and potency effect is absolutely debatable. The more we learn the better we grow and experience is always the best teacher. This is what works for me and my methods of growing in general from beginning to end. A BIG “Thank You” to everyone who stopped by to take a look. Hello present and future growmies! Welcome to the start of week 9 for Queen Citronella. First things first, please go and check week 8, I update daily and the week is now complete. Day 57: Her majesty is parched and so overgrown in her space that I've decided to give her a haircut. It will hopefully make her easier to move about too. I've fertigated 10l today and performed LST adjustments and significant defoliation. Made a little collage to show the training I did. Day 58: Tried to colour correct photos. Any good? Day 60: Disaster! SOMETHING has gone horribly wrong! The Queen is unwell and now I shall try to figure out why. It seems like heat stress but I don't get how. Alright I think it is heat stress but I am not sure how, the temp hasn't gone above 26 degrees to my knowledge. Two things have changed this week first my house has been about 3 degrees warmer, and second I switched the main tent to 20 hours. I wonder if the additional time and the extra heat in the house has caused it to get too high. I have opened a flap at the side of her tent, and I am going to drop the light in the main tent down to 19h. As well as this I am now leaving a window open when the lights are on. Hopefully I can stop it getting worse but it is all over the plant. :( Okay soI think I have caused nute tox/shock - specifically I think what happened was an accidental big overdose of CalMag raising the EC too high. These symptoms came on way too fast to be a simple deficiency or lock out, and the PH wasn't so far off as to cause these issues. I've treble checked and the temp hasn't exceeded 26 degrees, nor dropped below 17. I flushed her through with PH water today approx 40 litres - until runoff was clear and correct PH. I am not going to nute her for a day or two. Day 62: I have ordered the queen a new tent. 75 x 75 x 200. She's still asleep at the moment but I'll photo her later. She's really taken a hammering from, what I now believe is, nutrient toxicity. Day 62: Her majesty is looking much revived compared with the last few days. I THINK she will be ok. I've made a video assessing the damage. Ouch. Sorry your majesty, please not off with my head! Day 63: Alright I have a new tent for her majesty arriving next week and I've new airflow for the main tent. She seems to have recovered from the burn and is stretching again. End of week summary: First big mistake and first serious issues for Citronella. Sorry about that. However she has now recovered and is growing again. I cannot undo the damage but I think I have halted any further damage. Let's see what happens next week.

Impresionante, mirad que flores se están formando aquí , Zambezaseeds si a echo un buen trabajo con estas candy caramelo version fast flowering. 6 semanas de floración y ya no queda casi para cosechar, Añadi esta semana overdrive y retire big bud de advanced nutrients. Las flores no son muy grandes pero si se ven flores muy compactas y con mucha resina. Ph controlado 6.2 , humedad entorno al 50% y temperatura media de 26.5 grados, que cara al verano no está mal. Todas estas flores fueron logradas gracias a una buena iluminación (ts-600 mars hydro) y vaya resultados. Estas semanas sigo actualizándoos todo , sin más novedades me despido, un saludo fumetillas y buenos humazooos 💨💨💨

She’s just about done! Her buds fattened up a lot over her last two weeks but they seem like they’ve gotten as chunky as they’re going to get. She has a wonderful berry diesel smell. I’m going to give her a few more days and then chop her down. Stay tuned for the harvest and smoke report!

I will be running Blue Dream in my flower room but they havent even rooted yet. In the mean time, since shes getting huge lol I decided to flower Queen Blue my Nirvana Shop 'Blue Dream" mother. Lets see how she does! Ill add her daughters to the diary over time. EDIT: I mentioned I didnt cut the plant at all but thats actually not true I always top my plants at the 5-7th nod. Thats it though.

Sorry I was so slow at getting back here, These girls really love there home. I have a question.. When they say 60 days to flower. Do they mean the beginning or end of flower

Starting this diary to participate in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge. Using 10x strawberry cookies from super sativa seeds club We are growing with 7 liter pots in light mix using biogrow and biobloom ase base nutrients from greenhouse feeding + addictives from Xpert nutrients. Light by marshydro and of course the control panel from Tent-X Trolmaster We germinated the 15th of January and the small little plants popped in some days, being totally formed as seedling the 20th more or less. Week 1 of veg started the 20th!

Делаем раствор на 4 литра воды: MGB=7,92/5,28/7,92 + Fulvic 8мл + Pro Bloom 0,8 мл. 25.02.22 6 день цветения. Опрыскиваю раствором Fulvic 26.02.22 7 день цветения. Опрыскиваю раствором Fulvic. Снял скрог и пообрывал нижние листья и ветки, немного перераспределил колы, заново повтыкав фиксирующую проволоку. Убрал немного верхних листьев, чтобы свет поступал к нижним веткам. 27.02.22 8 день цветения. Опрыскиваю раствором Fulvic. 28.02.22 9 день цветения. Опрыскиваю раствором Fulvic. Сегодня температура в дневное время была ~20 градусов, скачет напряжение в сети + забыл закрыть окно, а на улице - 5градусов. Полив талой водой 3 литра + 6 мл Fulvic + 0.6 мл ProBloom 1.03.22 10 день цветения. Опрыскиваю раствором Fulvic. Пообрывал немного листьев, освободив нижние ветки для доступа света. 6я неделя завершена - растем и развиваемся=)

So end up losing the first set (guess that's how you know it alive n real) never the less week was great...will do some transplanting nxt week also wanna get some more gelato cuts to get the numbers up but will see how that

Everything's going great. One more week of flushing and I finally get to harvest not experienced at all so I'll be reading up on it alot and any tips would be nice
