Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Since topping her last week she has become really bushy and is loving her grow sack at the minute will be flipping to 12-12 at the end of this week. Loads of new bud sites growing up to the net so excited to see how she flowers!

Flushed HARDCORE this week!! Ladies are not looking well nor do they seem like they’re reacting to the flush well either!! Almost seems like they’re locked out but also having deficiencies! I could use some advice on this. 3/5 of the taller plants have yellowed out and the other 2 look great!! Pretty much all the same watering and neuts. I think the issue was that I’m using fabric pots and not allowing enough penetration to the bottom and it created a salt pocket. Correct me if I’m wrong Updated a few more pics of the deficiency/lockout issues all the help is appreciated thanks to everyone whose chiming in and helping!! Y’all the real deal!!

Por la ansiedad, corte dos florcitas de la planta 1 y han estado muy buenas. Manicure en verde a la planta 1, ver si las flores bajas agarran algo. This week I started her LST and bent her top over as far as possible without snapping and locked her in place. I use soft wire "Gear Ties" sold in the hardware section of most places. I got mine at Home Depot. I highly recommend these for anyone serious about Lst. I kept her in this position for about 4 days before adjusting placement and pulling the main top back down below the lower branches. I have been maintaining the same feeding schedule "week 4 hydro" 3/4 str main nutrients, 1/2 str Open Seasame. She started showing preflowers on me even though it's been in an 18/6 light cycle. So that's why OS and week 4 feeding was opted. Even though the plant was technically 2 months old, she's only been fed and treated right for 2 weeks now. So week 7 from seed, I started at the week 3 schedule.
