Week 8 Flower My favourite part; Flush flush flusshhhhh 🚽🌊💦 This is the time where you will see the most swelling and ripening of the buds, and also it's winter colours in its leaves and possibly even flowers (strain dependent) as the plant cannibalizes itself of all of its stored nutrients. Many strains will fade into a bright yellow, but a lot of strains can turn to many stunning colours such as purple, orange, red or even black! Purpling can also occur on your flowers throughout flush, which only adds to it's bag appeal! I believe it's extremely important to include a flush period at the end of each cycle. I don't necessarily mean you have to flush copious amounts of water through them like I do, but the end goal is to have a cannibalised plant before harvesting, regardless of your system, methods or medium. Having a proper flush is what gives you the clean burning, smooth smoke in the end. If many nutrients are left in the flowers, it can create a hard black ash that can spark as you toke 💥😷 and would be quite toxic for you to smoke. I start by pouring just enough water through the pot to get a decent run off in the catch tray below. I then take a note of the ppm/EC and pH of that run off to see how she's doing, and then adjust the pH of the rest of the water to be flushed if required. This girl's run off was a little high, at approx 6.2-6.5pH so I adjusted the rest of the flush water to around 5.5-5.6pH. This should bring it back down a bit more, although it doesn't really matter so much later in flush as she's only feeding on herself anyway, not what is in her pot. Once adjusted, I pour around 30ltr through her pot to reduce the salt contents in the coco. I then take another reading of her last bit of run off in the catch tray and make a note. I find that flushing a large amount of water through the coco speeds up the process because it has taken away many more nutrients from the coco than with not doing so. This gives the plant no choice but to instantly start to cannabilize on the only nutrients available; it's own. Once they're fading fast I'll simply feed them enough for a decent run off as I know there's nothing left in the coco. The amount of buds on this girl is absolutely insane! She's a monster! She's swelling up but still getting taller, with her tallest cola almost touching the reflector now. I'm definitely glad I supported her! I'm going for a 3+ week flush as I can't take her any further with plants in veg waiting for spaces, so hopefully she'll ripen up! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

I don't think I got as much weed as I did last time I grew this strain but still very happy with the outcome

She has stretch very nicely and at the end of week I can see that she will start flowering next week .

Week 7

They took a long time to grow and mature 10 months in all. They produced amazing flowers with a genuine high. Left a lot to be desired in flavour profile however not awful to smoke. Would grow again for sure as they were a high yielding, ‘set and forget’ type of strain easy and resilient enough to grow and highly impressive to see grown outdoor.

Eine Pflanze steht unter einer 320w Lampe unter diesen verschiedenen Bedingungen wird sie wahrscheinlich etwas kompakter wachsen,jedoch ist sie auch mehr der Kälte nachts ausgesetzt. Unglücklicherweise habe ich bei einer Pflanze den Stiel etwas beschädigt als ich die Samenkapsel abmachte. Ich hoffe jedoch,dass sie sich davon erholt und ihren Stamm etwas festigt. Ansonsten freue ich mich schon darauf,sie beim wachsen zu beobachten und zu sehen was für Blüten sie bilden wird. Da die Sonne die nächsten Tage so sehr scheint,stelle ich die Pflanzen aus dem Zelt in die Sonne.Zum Schutz vor Vögel habe ich mit einem Gummi ein Netz über den Topf gespannt

OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. I am still adding 1 l but there is no run off on all of them. Now I do nutrients -water-nutrients, but the doses vary as well. 600 WATT LED HAS BEEN ADDED. ITS 281 diods,but still decent addition

Nov 24 2022 Started LST last night, a tad late but no big issue I hope. Moved grow cycle time back and hour and a half. Light were shutting off at 12:00AM, I couldn't do consistent foliar spray at night (was in bed) Shifted to 10:30PM OFF, 4:30AM ON It was 12:00AM OFF and 6:00AM ON Plants are a vibrant green, thick strong main stem 5L Grow bags have arrived in the mail finally Nov 26, 2022 Watered and fed Tommy and Danny 1tbsp per 1L of water Both plants were bone dry 2 inches down

Day 61 for the autos two on the right are Tangie monkey and the two on the left Bananangie , both test strains from Island seedbank in Sicily. Just water this week , I think the first Tangie monkey is almost finished.

Stuff looks awesome cant wait to try it. Almost been hanging a week! Will come back for update after days and I do a trim!!

Hi guys, thanks for stopping by here.. Smell awesome for this two leady, not ultra resinous but very very sticky... I love the structure of the buds😍.. Now they are at day 54 from 12/12.. Only water.. The bigger one I think it's fine for harwest in the next five/seven days.. The "smallest" one in seven or more few days.. Day 21 from seed today, plants are growing good. Going to give some Microbe life and add some top dressing but that’s about it. Been doing LST on the one cookies and she is growing really nicely.

Pretty happy this week. It’s starting to ripen up :) Getting close. Trichomes still not ready yet though.
