January 24, 2019 The girls are doing WELL. My autos (Blackberry and NYC Diesel) are mid-flush now and will be chopped down this weekend. The Blackberry is a beautiful purple and the NYC Diesel is dense and chunky - both smell amazing!!! My photos are chugging right along also. The DinaFem Critical+ is definitely in the lead as far as bud development at this stage, with Seedsman Cream & Cheese CBD in a close second, followed by DinaMed CBD+ and the Cherry Hemp plants. This week I fed/watered 3 times (basically once every other day). The first time I fed with Recharge, Mammoth P and Big Bloom. The second time, I fed with Mr B’s Green Trees Bloom and Cal Mag. The third time was water only. ***January 26, 2019 update*** Cut down the FastBuds Blackberry and Barneys Farm NYC Diesel today and added a pic of the hanging branches. The NYC Diesel buds are much more dense than the Blackberry. The Blackberry buds are pretty loose and airy. I'm curious to see what they look like after drying for a week. Stay tuned..

Sour wiz came out amazing. Not many problems during her grow. Each pheno came out really different but that’s from my doing. I trained each plant differently to see what the difference would be. Responds really well to stress and training. I can’t tell you in words how great the flowers are. They’re literally coated in trichomes and smell and taste so damn good. Fruity sweet gasoline. It's seems that both will go full purple 😁 absolutely love it 😍 On Mar 17 Selective defoliation, training on branches and watering with bloom nutes. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Small runoffs with perfect 6.5 ph. Didn't notice any signs of stress. Girls bounced back within an hour. Second watering on Mar 21 7ltr beetwen both. Light dimmer at 65 watts. Humidity at 45% on avg when lights on and 50-55% when off. Really enjoyable grow this one. Almost no work around as no issues at all. This plant has a solid stench of pure ripe lemons. So much aroma and color in every bud, purples, to dark green, to lime green, to solid frost. This one definitely a fun strain to watch grow and tend too for the last few months. She’s definitely a hungry girl, seemed to be the only strain out of the three that accepted and thrived with full feed nutrients. Would definitely recommend this Strain to someone For a nice uplifting day smoke, also seems to do me good for some pain and stress relief.

Morning of day 14- tops look dry but it’s just the very surface. They took a little longer than I wanted to dry out. The weather has been cold windy and rainy, not much sun lately, and we are still about a month away from our potential last frost date. Farmer’s Almanac says last frost date is May 30th or something crazy, even though the days are normally rather warm by now. I haven’t fed as of Day 14 because they are not dry enough, there is plenty of amendments in the pot, especially towards the bottom, except I will still spoon feed a little bit. I just rehydrated the tops as they were really dry at least 1-2 inches of the tops were dry, but the bottoms are still plenty wet, so with clean water in a spray bottle, I just lightly rehydrated the top a lil, so I might be feeding tomorrow for day 15, but I don’t know yet. Keeping the tent around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and only about 25-30% RH. This helps me compensate for the lack of heat provided by the LEDs and help the plants adapt to a higher water demand. I haven’t seen the low humidity effect the seedlings, intact all the plants that grow outside in the hot bone dry climate LOVE IT! They were praising all last year. So to help keep me away from damping issues and to better prepare the little ones for the outdoors, I’m trying to match a hot and dry environment in the tent. With VPD levels way up in the red, I have yet to experience a negative impact. I have damped off enough plants in my life, it’s a lot harder for me in 60-70%RH to water the plants and get them to dry out fast enough in the tent with cold LEDs.

FBA2502 Plants 1-6 Week 7 May 11– 17 FLOWER 3 Nutrients : Micro 25 ml Gro 10 ml Bloom 30ml CalMag 30 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 16.5ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/11 PH 6.56, PPM 1560, temp 69 2ltr each 5/12 PH 6.31, PPM 1120, temp 68 1 ltr each 5/14 PH 6.66, PPM 1280, temp 70 1 ltr each 5/15 PH 6.66, PPM 850, temp 72 1 ltr each 5/11 Defoliation, feed, pics & videos I made 4 gallons, used 3 to water then poured the runoff back into the rest in the bucket. The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. The ladies are looking good 3 had a rough start but it was either ph or nitro deficiency somehow...im using nftg#4 for base soil and building a living soil...I topdressed 1/4 cup craft blend and 2 tbls Bokashi...

W19 (Harvest) 6-6 Last day before harvest. 7-6 Harvest day! Installed a humidifier outside the tent, set to 55% aiming for a 60% humidity inside the dry tent. 17-6 After 10 days of drying she is ready to be trimmed. While posting this a couple of months later i found out that i totally forgot to make pictures and video's of the trimmed buds 😅 End result #1: 37 Grams of dried buds. 35.84 Grams of dried trim and very small buds, into the freezer. I would describe pheno 1 as normal frosty, almost stone like buds, smells chemical with hints of dish soap (i really like it!) I cant describe the taste but it was very tasty out of the box, before the cure, very sad i only had 37 grams of it haha. End result #2: Around 70 grams of dried buds. 43.23 Grams of dried trim and small buds, into the freezer for bubble hash. I would describe pheno 2 as very frosty buds, little bit fluffy, smells very gassy, with a nice sour taste after curing a couple of months. Very interesting strain, i will definitely grow it again! I have some trim and small buds saved up from different strains and i will be posting a diary of the full process making hash of them!
