Week 9 commence flushing. This lady is looking great, super frosty, sticky and got a sweet aroma. Removed some dying leaves and now we wait for chop in about 6-7 days.

All 3 are out of the earth and two of the older Seeds came too. Looks like i didn't wait long enough. 😁 Weather is changing a lot. Let see what happens. Next few days weather is cold.

Shes in the fast lane and got the hammer down now. Look at the growth over 2 days once I hit that sweet spot with the nutrients. Geoff has definitely checked off some boxes with this girl, the vigor and structure are on point, she's definitely oozing some strong skunky terpene early on as well.

Had a few hiccups. Plants ended up developing a nitrogen toxicity from too much worm casting. I simply did a flush on them with water PH’d to 6.3 and allowed the soil to dry out

Harvesting a little earlier than when i would like, because of the rise of bugs that appeared last days due to climate conditions... this year temperatures are oscillating more than usual having 1 rainy week, then a sunny hot one just after it rains.. In fact, last year, it did not rain until November So the plagues were on the leaves, mildew powdery(just a coulpe of leaves),aphids(like just in the leaves of one cola), and some caterpillars almost ready to get out and start eating all the buds, (hopefully i cut that day).. Sounds bad, but the parts of the plant affected was only the leaves... and means that a proper cleaning is coming so removed all the leaves and the result is what you can see, that bonsai.. Spotted 2 dead material points in big colas, that i removed after drying.. I did not weight the plant wet because of the smell that i had on my house that day, things went very tense, i was a bit busy, and even, it has not much sense to me, im better weighting the dry material. So at the end i think im having very good quality, and the affected parts are less than i thouth at first, so im very happy with the results.. On the scales are the best buds, the rest is the lower part of the colas that were less developed so im doing hash with that part.. This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

Almost doubled in height over the last week. Looking good , feeding full formula now. Switching to flower next week right after they are pushed down with the trellis net or scrog.

Finally got the girls into their nets and in their final positions. I now have two rows 5‘ x 11‘ gave each plant half cup of craft blend and did a 1 inch layer of build a flower, then covered with chopped up leaves and straw, then watered in with recharge And I gave them a small lolly pop and thind out some of the smaller branches. I’m thinking they will go into flower in about two weeks. Here are some before and after shots.

Week 2 bloom: The buds have started to arrive! And they are everywhere. This girl is huge and looking great. She seems to have liked the feeding I gave her last week. I’ve continued to train her, but at the point that the buds have started, I don’t want to be touching it very much. Maybe it’s OK because the trichomes haven’t started?
