Hello colleagues! After 10 days of Flush, I finally started harvesting. Due to the difference in phenotypes (the green ones showed a pink tint at the end), there was a slight desynchronization in ripening, but overall I was satisfied with the result. I prefer to trim the still fresh harvest, and I do it twice - the first time I remove large leaves (these are in the trash), the second time I shape the buds (this sugar trim for the cannakitchen) Then I will dry the harvest in a dark box with the exhaust fan on for about 8-10 days. Just in case, let the ventilation fan work for the first three days too. 05/12/21 - PRE FLOWER: The plants have certainly grown in size and most bud sites are showing the beginnings of pistils. - Some leaves have purple spots - This could be phosphorus deficiency. I am feeding a healthy dose of blooming nutrients - so this could be a heat issue as the temp does get below 20 often. I have decided to invest in a heat mat. Had to defoliate some bud sites on some plants as I was an IDIOT and but a blow fan heater close to warm up - so I have lost some bud sights maybe 10% overall - lesson learnt. I hope this hasn't stressed the plants out too much. Lights are at 100% brightness.

The plants continue to kick ass. New French Macaron and Chem Brulee leaves are all 9-fingered now. Crazy happy plants. Sprayed with light BT spray (trying to avoid any caterpillar issues this year as much as possible) early in the week. Sprayed with light Neem Oil / Castile Soap (no more dawn, no more issues!) late in the week. Today, June 9, I also defoliated a bit. Keep in mind that I don't want to do much this year as far as topping and training, so I've done one simple top on all of the plants, and essentially have created 4 main colas for each plant. I only did this to create some airflow under the plant. I don't plan on doing a lot of this stuff. Gonna let the sunshine do her thing. Even though these girls have some hot-ass super soil in there, I'm still going to be doing some top-dressing. Mixed this up and slathered it on there on Saturday, June 12. ------

Both the girls are doing very well and are continuing to stretch. No problems at all from either one of the plants. They deff started sprouting there pistols and where Alaskan purple fell behind in veg, she is now ahead in the flowering stage. The bottom leaves shrivelled which I am aware this will happen during this stage so I cut them off and there is a little nutes burm on Alaskan purple so the next two feedings will be with distilled water with pH of 6.5.

I'm running a little test here🤓, I have cut the upper tops of the plant, and left the buds that were getting almost no light. I'm curious whats gonna happen... The idea is off course that those bud will turn out thick and fat as well😋. I'm gonna keep a close eye on the trichomes, so nothing gets out of hand and turns to brown. The shock of the harvest will take at least a day or 4 for them to get back I think, but maybe even a week... After a week I'm gonna decide if I will chop, or give m another shot overdrive. It all depends on how the trichomes look and the overall look of the plants.🤓 Have a nice week and till the next🤙🏼

At this point, I water the roots to take off the rest of the fertilizers I used. I think it gives better flavor and you don't smoke the residues. The plant start to use its reserves to be almost done.

Week six of flower I went in to the tent today an lots of new purple on the buds, couldn't believe how nice they look💚🤩, man does she look stunning, I'm in awe with these beautiful flowers👌🏻

Flowering day 37 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The whole plant itself looks perfect 👍. The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. This OGgelato is a champ! Not the heaviest producer, but its been a real pleasure and was easy to grow. No matter what nutrients I throw at her, or aggressive pruning, she bounces right back. This week I found bud rot on one of my other plants in the greenhouse but this plant has so far been resistant and is healthy. I thinned the canopy and defoliated out quite a bit to create more air flow. I now have fans on 24/7 and sprayed with a mycorrizhal fungicide that suppresses botrytis. Also this week I have stopped pulling the tarp on and off each night (for total darkness) because it seemed to trap in too much humidity at night. The humidity outside has been 80-90% for over a week! And the rain was so heavy all last week. This week is slightly warmer with less rain so hoping we can make it. The trichomes are starting to get milky. I imagine I have 1-2 weeks left but am not sure. This has been a pleasurable experience for sure, but this is stressful right now! The smell is so strong you can smell it on my block. You can see *everything* from the alleyway adjacent to the greenhouse. I'm worried about mold and thiefs and can not wait for this to be dried and in jars!
